Awesome. I’ve not been playing nearly as much recently, so when I get some time I’ll take your advice. I figured I was probably just not in the right place at the right time. This weekend I should have some free time.

I’ve been away from GW2 for a few months now, and I’ve missed quite a bit. I read about a new world boss in the Silverwastes that spawns after a meta event. I haven’t actually been seeing a lot of people doing activities in the Silverwastes since I’ve played, so I was wondering if someone could tell me: Am I likely to run into a group attempting this meta event? Is it something people actually attempt? Perhaps I’m logged in at the wrong time?

I need karma for Obsidian Shards and some other stuff. I know that event farming is a great way to get it. Where are the best places to farm events at this time? I prefer places that people actively farm in groups.

Awesome, thanks guys. I was thinking pretty much the same thing. Since Europe consists of many nations and tongues, I figured EU would be them and EN would be English speaking. Better to make sure before getting excited about where a game is getting release, though.

So I am not a MMO gamer by nature, so I don’t keep up with Guild Wars 2 like I would Halo or another console game. That being said I’m sure I’m asking something obvious.

I just reached level 80, and bought some exotic armor. That was what I thought I was supposed to do if I don’t craft my own…which I don’t. So my question is about the ascended and legendary tiers.

First off: Which is the higher tier?

Second: Are there or will there be armor’s for these tiers in the future? When will we see them?

Third: How does one obtain the legendary/ascended gear that is available…I suppose that would just be weapons if there isn’t any armor.

There is an image of several human female characters in the middle of this page. Can anyone tell me what armor the last toon on the right is wearing?

I was wondering if the hairstyles that are only accessible through the makeover kits in the gem store are saved to one’s account. Or is it just a one time revamp for your toon?

What gpu are you people using to get zero lag at the highest graphics setting (with a great cpu to back it all up)?

So I’ve heard that the 560 and the 560ti are pretty good for GW2. I have also heard good things about Radeon HD 7770 and the 7850. All of these are in my price range, but the 7850 is realllly pushing it. I won’t ask which one is best because they are all different and that would be stupid. I will ask: which one(s) (if any) will allow me to play Guild Wars 2 at 1080p without ANY lag at the highest appearance settings?!

Supposing my cpu can handle the intensity (I am confident that it can) then will 570 or 560ti do well in pvp/wvw? I am also looking for lots of opinions b/c I am still learning my way around graphics cards!

I got Guild Wars 2 without a great graphics card in my desktop computer. I set my graphics all the way up to see what they would look like and was AMAZED that an MMO could look so good! But of course my gpu will not allow me to see this and play well. What is the least expensive graphics card that will allow me to set my graphics on GW2 (and other games) all the way up without losing any performance? I want it to look the best and play the best!

I know that you have to be willing to spend $$$ but I also know that the most expensive cards are sometimes over-kill.

I saw in the “What is Guild Wars 2?” video a female character with face paint and a bow. She is seen in the beginning shooting this bow. I was wondering what armor set she was wearing. I know my description is vague but if you know what I’m talking about let me know!
