Today in SBIBL i farma TE commander all day long, until i leave the game and he can take my Bay, the only moment in the days when SBI will take their BAY is when im not online ^^ so sad, and please SBI dont drop siege in open field battle, have some pride or honor.

Plus the “ending” seemed a bit too open for me, we still have to find a way to fully seal the prince in the mad realm.

Honestly, while I’d love if my charr stood upright, I’d be happy if it was a little less hunched. Either way, the hunched pose is lore tied so I tolerate it.
Remember that GW1’s charr who stood upright were the flame shamans who worshiped the Titans. These shamans were pedant prideful charr even towards their own kind which was frowned upon. Once these shamans were cast away and degraded, the rest of the charr refused to stand upright as a sign of rejection to their behaviour and attitude.

The only way of opening the explorable paths is by sending someone who has cleared story mode, which I think is very reasonable. Yes, it does. What I meant to say is that, regardless if he/she cleared story or not, whoever walks into the dungeon first, hosts it. If that host leaves, the dungeon “crumbles.” We’re talking about an explorable path that can only be done after story is cleared by whoever is hosting the dungeon.

You have to keep one thing in mind, on a big suggestion like this, the update if anet decided we were right, would take at least around half a year to make with new textures, code, animations, etc. On top of that by now, they probably already have the updates until april of next year done and slotted, and are already working on other things.

While I do not discredit anything you said (and I honestly hope you’re right), you missed my point. Yes, it would take a good while to update everything we’ve been requesting for. But if you check the screenshot links in my last posts, it looks like the armor wasn’t even previewed on charr by the developers. At all. It’s simply insulting. Please, just look at the heavy armor. The helmet is pretty much a mask and doesn’t even cover your lower jaw. You can see your elbows an knees and the boots just look awfully stretched and completely unnatural.

I am not asking for a huge model update (even if I do expect it) all I want is them to put a little bit of consideration when creating new armor designs. They can do similar sets for male and female, why not one for charr with very few but noticeable variations to make it FIT THE BODY? Hell, the asuras can’t complain all that much because they have humanoid skeletons.

I’m fine as long as they start hinting about another dragon rising in spring next year. Scarlet is merely the beta test for the living story system. It’s feels stretched out because it’s supposed to begin and and at the same time as the current year. They haven’t gotten the full handle of it, but they eventually will. Just give them some credit darn, with people complaining for every single bit of new content how do you expect them to release a dragon without preparation?

Lore wise, it makes sense. Zhaitan was honestly the closest dragon and the most violent one to rise. Primordus is far underneath, raising his army little by little to eventually strike. Kralky must still be regenerating and preparing for some revenge. Jormag seems to be a far more calculating dragon since he induces control by bribing people’s minds. He doesn’t even need to move or send a lieutenant to spread corruption. We will have to force him out but we’re not ready yet. As for Mordremoth, we don’t even know if it’s awake yet. Bubbles is awake but he has no business in land, yet. He has the whole unending ocean to corrupt. Give ’em time.

I mean.. am I the only time that takes a good while to get ready for work right after waking up on monday?

It’s creative writing dude. You don’t like it then don’t read it. I think it’s VERY well written and I appreciate those who worked their kitten out just to give us a nice short read to introduce us to the NPC that we’ll LEARN ABOUT WHEN THE UPDATE HITS.

I think you didn’t even bother watching the video I linked or simply understand what I was saying because I am not “expecting” anything from arenanet. All that’s in my post is just blatantly obvious. I refuse to explain the scarlet part because it’s long and WoodenPotatoes does it way better but you can easily figure out what’s going to happen with Teq by reading the wiki entries on Elder Dragons or.. why not? just reading your ingame mail. It’s explicitly written “Tequatl is evolving”. What else would it evolve to?

The OP is assuming bullkiten. It feels like an impatient kid complaining about not recieving gifts before christmas. What do you want, a dragon after another? that way the game’s story pillar will be done in pretty much 2 years. Christ. The game needs FILLING content like the current Scarlet saga. Crystal desert, Glint, Elona, Cantha, it will all be included at it’s DUE TIME. We’re talking about a company here, they plan the whole story AHEAD OF TIME. It’s not a crew of 10yo throwing whatever comes to mind. Use your logic.

It’s feels random because that’s what Anet wants. They’re going to surprise us by tying all the dots.

On Scarlet and the chained living story:
WoodenPotatos enlightened me and made me see how amazing the living story really is.
I’ll take the Harry Potter example. There is a bunch of hints and stuff during the first books that you usually overlook until that part of the plot that BAM it all comes into place as part of a huge scheme. THAT’s what happening with Scarlet. IT’S NOT A BUNCH OF RANDOM EVENTS, there’s an AMAZING background not revealed yet that’s tying them.

Man, I was really disappointed when I killed Zhaitan. It was so anti-climatic. I even talked to a game designer once and she agreed. But now, they are asking for a second chance. If you didn’t know yet, Elder Dragons have been killed before. What happens is that, once one of them dies, a lieutenant takes it’s place. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Tequatl Rising. I believe this is Anet’s way of making up for the fight and let me tell you it’s working perfectly. If it’s not clear enough Tequatl is turning into a new Zhaitan. By this, the races of tyria will understand how this mechanism works and will focus on killing every lieutenant before getting rid of the elder.

Because they are risen, too. They kill whatever; They corrupt whatever. Then add that to the big militia of zombies (hell they even have Quaggan). Remember that the Risen presence is quite big all around the zones above Orr, and this zone is populated by krait. Nonetheless, they could not be siding with the Risen because they’ve actually fought them. There’s a storyline quest where you have to steal their magic orb-artifact that protects their waters from Zhaitan’s corruption.

If anyone from [SIC] reads this, I’d like to thank you on behalf of [KT] and SBI for that intense 5 minute fight we just had in SBI BL; it was fun as hell. Hope to bump into you guys again sometime this week!

As many other players must be feeling or must have seen, there’s a big discussion over how charr look. I don’t want this topic to become another “rage to arenanet” so please stay civilized.

1- The hunch
While I understand the hunch SHOULD not be removed because it is part of the charr physiology, many of us will agree that charr are actually too hunched. This was reasonable back when they were tribal but they are proud and mighty now, they should have that chest up in the air. What happened to those AMAZING looking charr in the concept art?

2- The armor.
While this has been discussed before, I want to add my 2cents to the subject. It is quite sad to see that pretty much all of the armor in the game are modeled for humanoids. This causes stretching and huge loss of quality on armor graphics and… Tail clipping. I am not complaining about this and I would like to find another way around this problem. One would be fixing the charr model like I said before to make it look a “little” more humanoid-like so the rest of the armor will fit better. Or maybe adding a wider range of cultural armor. Note that I do not support making separate armor sets for charr every time a new one comes out, that’s just absurd.
