I’m dipping my toes in, here. I haven’t played for a while (pretty much left in Nov), but I’m semi-curious about getting back into GW2 again.

My main issue before was lack of Community. My IRL friends decided it’d be a “Great Idea” to make our own guild, then they ended up being 99.9995% inactive. I got to 80 (on a Warrior), but I quit shortly after, I didn’t know anyone to play with, and the server I was on at the time seemed to lack Guilds Recruiting, and people playing.

I’m not very into WvW or sPvP. I always wanted to check out some of the dungeons in this game, but the lack of a Group Finder and the fact I only had one friend even get past level 30 made it kind of out of my realm of play. I’ll happily help wherever I’m needed, I do have that 80 Warrior, but I have 9 total toons, one of every class (and an extra Ele, as I accidentally purchased too many slots).

I’d like a guild that frequently does things together, a guild that talks in chat, helps each other out, and maybe even enjoys other games, together, too. I’m looking for the Community I never found. I know GW2 has it, somewhere. I may be an Asura, but I’m not afraid to chop some knees looking for it!

I agree. Whoever came up with the idea needs to be given three raises.

Me and my friends call(ed) ourselves former GW2 players. I personally hadn’t logged in since just after Wintersday left. I didn’t feel much motivation. There wasn’t much fun for me, a PvEer, as you kept adding and fixing PvP. Don’t get me wrong, those fixes and additions were needed, but the “Flame and Frost” stuff didn’t get me or my friends saying “oooo we gotta go see that.”

I’ve never laughed as hard in a game since Portal 2. You’ve outdone yourselves, and given me plenty of motivation to play….. must…… save…….princess!!!

See, I keep thinking Carys…. Not my usual type (personality or plant) but she does have this adorable Ditzy blonde kind of thing going.

I’m not saying her personality. Irl, I’m into more…alternative…girls (I’m a guy, btw), I’m not much a fan of the ‘barbie doll’ that most guys seem to droll over. It’s why, although I always play female characters, I only ever have had one ‘human’ female (a Frost DK in WoW). I usually go towards shorter races, because their personalities have more substance than their looks. And there is something sexy, in an odd way, when you think how smart a female gnome, goblin or asura is.

Caithe just stands out. I’m talking more the pre-Sylvari-revamp Caithe. When she looked more elven than plant-ish.

Course, personality, gotta go with Zojja. Any girl who names a golem ‘Mr. Sparkles’ not only is smart as hell, but has the sense of humor I like.

I play Warrior, Engineer, Guardian, Elementalist, Ranger……

….okay, I play everything. Warrior is level 80. But I hold no ‘main.’

you do know pillows filled with Tengu feathers are hot this year? It is like sleeping in the ashes of your burned enemies after a barfight.

Due to the size pillow I require, Tengu are not viable candidates. They’re far too rare, and the ones I seem to come across don’t even respond to my question, they only reply with something from a ‘script.’

Charr, though bigger and more dangerous, are a better source of pillow stuffing. They are much more common, and if I have issues trying to shave one, most humans I meet happily help hold them down while I go about my business.

On topic; I am still looking. Giving it more time until I make a decision. I like guilds that play multiple games, like Minecraft, as I do have gamer A.D.D. sometimes.

Now that I have you here, I would like to tell you, sadly I am all out of free Hats. I know, it’s misleading, but it was all I could do to separate myself from the crowd.

Now that you’re here, I better put my pants on, so I can tell you that I am looking for a guild. I am looking for a guild.

What do I want in said guild? Well they must have a sense of humor, and be Asura friendly. They must also let me chase after every Charr in the guild (not all at once!) asking, nay, begging to shave them so I can make an epic pillow. Charr hair pillows are awesome, what?

You, as said prospective guild must also like PvE stuff. I do…wander into the Mists when I’m lost, and bored, but I’d rather do a Jumping Puzzle, then kill someone who hasn’t made my ‘To Kill’ List. I have one. It’s not very long. I’m more of a hugger than a fighter. Did I ever tell you the time I tried hugging a Charr while I was shaving them?! It didn’t end well. But I’m starting to ramble. So please, Prospective Guild, leave you’re Sticky-Notes about how you want me below. I will read them. I promise.

I’m an 80 Warrior, though I’d call my L32 Engineer my main, who is looking for a guild. I’m not really looking for sPvP or WvW, but more along the lines of PvE progression, Fractals and what-not.

I’m pretty active, especially now with Winter Break off work, but I’d like to find a home on AR, and I’m not looking to move, as I have IRL friends there!

This is the most antisocial MMO"RPG" i have ever played (Even SWTOR with it’s massive 10 people online was more social).

Are you insane? Alderaan had/has like 4 people on it at ‘peak’ times, and Balmorra was worse (woot, alone!) and that was both at launch, AND about a month ago. On The Shadlowlands, which is apparently ‘medium’ population.

I always see others around here, GW2 servers seem to be bigger that what I’m used to, but then again I’ve spent the last ~2 years in Rift and SWTOR, and those games aren’t exactly ‘large.’

140+ hours since launch.

Nope, not bored. I will be when I finally outrun that centaur…

Way too many bugs still for a perfect 10. I stopped playing my Warrior for a few weeks in hopes that the growing number of high-level bugs will be squashed sometime soon (please, Anet!), but other than those bugs, and the petty “the Trading Post is down for the 148027th time,” I’m loving the game.

I do ge what people who say it was pushed out early, not to a SWTOR extent, but 2 mos of polish could have done wonders for the Level 40+ content.

In a way, yes. Long ears (mostly them), round foreheads and intellect in general are what Asura consider attractive.
