Greetings, Tyrians!
We are here today to talk about some of the build-thematic changes that will be coming with the next balance iteration. Depending on your chosen profession and your role in combat, these changes may require some stat-swapping on your gear. We feel that giving a bit of a “heads-up” is appropriate.
One of the most notable changes being made is to the healing values of the Druid as a primary healer. Base values for the Celestial Avatar heals will be reduced, while the healing power contribution will be enhanced significantly. The reasoning for these changes is that while we are excited about the Druid being an incredibly strong healer, we would also like to see that role as one of many choices in your attribute build.
Similarly, there will be changes in boon duration and boon application for a few professions. For the Revenant, we’ll be looking at reducing Naturalistic Resonance’s base boon duration. For Mesmer, we’re looking at making Signet of Inspiration’s boon sharing functionality a bit more controlled, giving each shared boon a fixed duration. To help compensate for these general reductions, we’ll be increasing both damage and a few different baseline boon durations.
As this update rolls out we will continue to monitor the effectiveness of these changes, along with the remainder of the balance updates, and will make additional adjustments and tweaks as necessary. Thanks very much for your time!

Arenanet stop listening to the CRy QQ Forums and start listening to the people “Buff-Ideas” Those who doing it and know about it!!!….. revenant king of dps? LOLOLOL not in pve . maybe you should be more specific. also druid deservers this nerf. if you dont spec toward healing you shouldnt be healing like mad. that goes for any class. spec for the thing you want.

When, I said revenant " King of Dps" I mean imply on Pvp and WvW or roaming not in PVE… Which is what I mean by that they could just instantly fast damage you/ 1 shot thief and able killed Warrior and even able to Teleport while has high good boon duration also could be used for Commander frontline/backline or boon sharing. They, even in fact has mix between thief dodging and Warrior like huge burst while good sustainable and now they boosting more damage to Revenant Wtffffff???. I, even seen 1.5 Million damage in Pvp on Revenant and could even kill very good super tanks druid that fast. Druid does not deserve this nerf neither some other class while relevant shouldn’t get a damage buff fair and square Bro.

Hi, Adrian thanks for asking about the cats – feline family they only buff " Maul" 20s-16s CD nothing changed anyway…… Smokescale does more for reaching in Pvp and PVE cats it better imo Smokescale are useless nothing to offer my much in PvE encounters. Drake family has been buff some dmg increase and CD it’s good PvE you can try and spider for conditions poison 1s-4s xddddd……

For, Moa family they reduce all Cd and make scream now 1/4 s cast rather 1s to execution faster for it and moa some parts increase…. Wolf it good now for crippling and charge reduce Cd like pig with forage…

Needed Buffs/Tweaks 2016

I’m just came here general to talk about idea what could be improvement for Druid/Ranger general as despite they keeping nerfing/nerfing/nerfing and one day it’s gone flush out!. I really hope Arenanet please listen this idea if you can! & I mean look at the final ESL Esport PRO league Finals 4 Revenant, DH, Scrapper, Tempest, Reaper & Druid nothing literally at all 0000000.. Anyway, let’s get back to the what I was talking about.
Pets:
BristleBack give back +25% damage and just remain it forever you can fix the 20-15shot but 25% put it back. Give them more HP Boost in PvP, WvW say 15-20% so they wouldn’t die that super incredible quick, despite being so low in pvp Health it just too fast they die out at times even I heal can’t keep up certain times of it. No not like PVE health lower than that
Specialization:
*Marksmanship:
*Moment of Clarity give them to what 100% was original it wasn’t that super OP….
Wildness Survival: Share of Anguish maybe instead 1 minutes recharge I say give it 30s?. It help Ranger/Druid alot as it get CC away from it.
Steady Focus: 10 % dmg boost while having with fury and your pet get too 10%
Companion Defense: Give it 5s rather 2s still remain the dodge roll for protection boon.
Nature Magic:
*Allies Aid give it around kitten recharge rather than 85s think as “Search and Rescue” when you rework the skills & lower the recharge!.
*Evasion Purity try give it lower recharge down from 10s-5s if you can rather than just buff Vigorous Training increasing the second Vigor boon.
*Nature’s Vengeance: instead just giving boons and larger radius when spirit-activated why not give them "Spirit Bond’ that allow spirit following you that back in the past ranger what use to have it!?. It what make ranger spirit great adding that and perhaps 100% buff more health to spirit make it 200%!.
Druid:
*Celestial Being perhaps give it buff for healing an ally to 2 instead 1 1/4s to increase Celestial avatar energy bar and damage to 1.
*Live Vicariously: Please remove this trait it still one the horrible trait I’ve seen switch to something else and perhaps adding recharge 6s make it something useful change it like an example Nature magic: Fortifying Bond rather you share with your pets that you get our own boons you share with an ally instead about radius 360! also affected by boon duration & Lingering magic trait!
*Druid Clarity: Perhaps give it 6s resistance boon when enter Celestial Avatar so the Condition Bomb can’t just restack again Crowd Control condition out crap on going Celestial Avatar on and no Recharge!! Addin please!.
*Natural Mender: I said perhaps give it buff from 2%-3%? so x5 is 15% outgoing heal effectiveness!.
Weapon:
*Shortbow: I really hope you can reconsidered these back in those day I want it rebuff again where it was original at 900-1200 range & make it Shortbow useful again it never was super OP so i don’t know why nerf the range of it!
Skills:
*Celestial Avatar: I was thinking if you can give them 6s stability boon when they enter Celestial Avatar so that when they enter trying heal people crap out they wouldn’t get CC train everytime & Druid clarity buffing 6s Resistance.
*Signet of the Wild: I putting this just for remove the whole thingy Giant process when being transform rather I just want a normal size with given addin no transformation & that goes being said same to Marksmanship: Enlargement too!.
*All Traps: I want the old traps to be back emplacement ground target where you can put it anyway you like rather be at your own feet character. It make super great what an old ranger trap build use to be with range 600!. Please I hope you can given back & removing the healing spring trigger radius it make horrible while have to wait somebody step in and receive the healing spring I’ve rather be just put down and 10s you receive it
Optional(Only) new profession skills F6-F7:
*Flare: set a flare around the place location revealing enemy for 2s when they step in remain forever reveal till out and next attack will be unblockable x3 for 6s. Recharge 15s, duration 6s, Range 600 and Radius effect 360!.
*Nature Unbound: Teleport to the location and gain a Shroud of Unbound for 6s. Any ally or enemy that step in will given 1 condition each per 2s and boon 1 each per 2s when they step in your Shroud of Unbound. Recharge 30s, duration 6s, Range 1200 and radius effect 360.
Nature Magic.
*Nature Vengeance: Now added a spirit while moving and gain twice- spirit activated before die.
Druid, Live Vicariously remove and switched to Nature Swift on it.
Nature swift: Replace, to a healing recovery every 3s to the you and your ally. Radius 360.
Rework, skills Stone Spirit give accessible now to place one stationary of where you place ground target and when spirit-activate Teleport you to that location.
Breakstun and range 1,200. Similar like fleshwurm
So, this is my idea for improvement and & Optional for new profession skills. Feel free to post comment anything negative/positive I appreciate a feedback. Although I wish any Arenanet developer I would hope seeing this thank you and have a nice day. Also, many by Wondrouswall.7169 idea please also listen to him and thanks.

We, getting point of cross where if this keep happening again and again in over time. We might be a profession( could been playable or not playable) and also I’m not just doing for the sake Ranger community. I also doing this for people to get back on Ranger who just quit or left after of the patch and maybe past back then patch. Who they spent 1000+++ hours of Ranger and it their super main till Arenanet doing this on Rangers!

Now,: then first of all we utterly useless if really want to compare we can’t do damage ourself yet we must rely pets to do its job rather balance us both as well. Now, they making Bristleback/Smokescale where the damage it be just next vanilla pet on the house and worst part is most all vanilla pets are utterly useless. Why?. Because they do not have anything to offer that much compare Bristleback/ Smokescale and worst part pet it still buggy as well not even yet fix and they can’t even land hit on foe( this apply to all pet) who simply must await for fix then it work. Yes, sure Longbow can do any damage but even so if there no deflection which that the cast Heart of thorns has do many deflection. On it hit it still not much compare to our pet who has doing the most damage and that the issue and even we off to supportive our supportive are nothing much compare Tempest who can do most than us and yet we burden with not nothing but piece of pie. You, see you know why inside game people mention Ranger/druid not for zerg/ not for party that much it is because they speaking the truth it what I just mentioned. Sure,: we can go heal support but even so if you can time it well to heals it great but if not we just die in the house simply as that. I just want Arenanet start listening people giving idea rather listen to idiotic Elistism.

They, even said they care for the games, love the gamed they cherish what they been working of and would love to continue keep going and never stop. Ye right pfft as if they caring the game my foot all they caring is Elistism, never care people concern kaboom done and that it next thing you know it happens again and again.

I want to make a point across out of it and yes @Swagger.1459 I can post my thoughts it will be next message. @Fluffball.8307 I none of the above as you mention the things is Arenanet never bother to listen to anything all they do listen Elistism who complain complain complain and most majority are noobish just simply die to Ranger oh who thought it Op. Then, we have maybe 1000 post of here Ranger about ideas of Spirit/ Shortbow and others stuff. HELL, they even give the of the rework and the name itself as well the skills and what Arenanet do usually never listen. It is time start Arenanet start listening to the people and not by Elistism they do nothing but bring utter chaos to us.

This, give the glimpse so you can balance it out well and stop nerfing the crap out of it. I hope one day after you listen to me you can change it from what I said thank you.

My rule for listed #30 for change rework/new/adding for skills/trait and weapon( all counted as 1). So ye I hope you can try one day if can eventually pretty please thank!

Ranger pet Account Bound and new pet idea

I, hope Arenanet see this that if they can make pet as account bound that be way better instead have to go all the way through just to retame pets again. I wish there an option for it please “ArenaNet” considered this as a offer & wish you do it. I mean “Heroic Tokens” are now account bound from April 19 update back then wasn’t and people wish it make account bound and now it happen!. I hope you can too.

About, the maybe new pet maybe add 5 more like in HoT zone area part of "Elder dragon " of 4 elemental different Fire(Range),Darkness(Range), Light(Melee) & Nature(Green melee) & 1 Werewolf(melee). That, be total 3 melee & 2 range appear be as humanoid(Draconian & Werewolf) in size/height of a Charr. Fire does burning (who wear a staff) /Darkness does range damage(who wear a book right side and left side casting while book is open)/Light does protection to ally & yourself(wear a mace/shield like a supportive/tanker)/Green who does like a rogue assassin(Wear Dual-Dagger & teleport to foe behind and backstab e.t.c)/Werewolf one does just bleed/Stun and damage e.t.c). This is my general idea and I wish you really could make ranger pet account bound thanks!

@rummy.4102 I won’t says it OP to be honest player nowadays QQing don’t know to dodge zzz and yes DPS too…………………………. We been nerfing for ages how many time 3 years from now and even now up still now it a issue LOL and Hot came also like ranger always still a issue. Of course new play don’t bother or care but for someone like me or @Evilzombie.6801 or someone a older player 2-3 years it still a concern nothing changed yet and it still a issue now!!. I really hope do Anet listen worthwhile heck they don’t even care ……

If “Destroyer Scythe” has Mystic Forge recipe, i thought the recipe need some expensive materials.

Example:
1x Eldritch Scroll
100x Mystic Coin
1x Gift of Darkness
X Onyx Lodestones or Destroyer Lodestones
