Not going to lie, I will find myself rather please if a charr of all races comes out as the hero of Lion’s Arch.
There’s no other alternative. Charr are the heroes of the game

Ah Evon, always looking after Lion’s Arch. As is expected from a Hero like him.

You’re welcome. We’re happy you liked it. :-)
One change I would like. Please make it an infinitely repeating achievement! Maybe award 10 points per Gold donated?
That would just mean that the TP millionares would also have around 500.000 Achievement points without ever leaving Lion’s Arch. :P So.. No.
Achievement points are pretty much the only thing left that actually requires doing other things than playing the TP or champ train farming.
Yes for every gold donated in game Anet will give a real dollar to Red Cross.
I bet we could make Anet go bankrupt in a week.
ow…
I do not like that idea, sorry.
It’s good as it is, not infinite pls.
People with money lot’s of real money can buy gems and then buy AP.
People would farm money more than ever too buy AP.
It could be a daily to it, donate one gold for 1AP once a day.
This thread is like a timewarp to when RPG were on disks and C64. Don’t like something? Edit the hex code.
It’s nickname isn’t the “Mystic Flusher” for nothing…
This made me smile.

Im guessing it has something to do with Jewelcrafting, maybe we will be able to make them when JC can be leveled to 500, or perhaps it can be discovered with artificer right now, the only other thing I can think of is creating them in the mystic forge somehow.
Im looking forward to finding out the answer to this mystery.
It’s healthy right now. Time will tell if it’s still healthy months from now.
This is a move to keep silk prices higher in the long run. In the short run, when everyone is still fighting to craft their Damask as soon as the timer resets, demand is going to be huge and the price soars. Check back in a month, though; the price should settle down quite a bit, as more people have completed their first armor set and there’s less of a rush to get it done.
Prices are supposed to go up during a demand spike. What’s happening is healthy.
I see your math, I see your statement, but I dont see the problem even if silk hit 3s per scrap. So its alot of money…yea, imo that was the point?
3s for a silk scrap? More than the gossamer scrap?
You’re really saying that it would be a good design choice making a t5 material worth more than a t6?
I think, and probably i’m wrong, that 50 bolts of silk would be enough.
Collect 50 Mithril ingots takes me usually 20 mins of gather (in Additions to the salvaged that i collect playing normally).
Same as above for the wood logs.
To collect 300 silk scraps, how many hour of playing are required? (without the TP).
This is the real problem! And this is the reason why the price is skyrocketing!
All this cost difference (for the ascended piece) is completely useless!

Anet doesn’t admit make mistakes.

the best part is how much you have to pay to switch between which crafts you want to use.
Yes. That’s the one reason why I regret doing them all on one character since I have to spend 40+ silver each time to switch.

Wait for all crafting professions to reach 500 and ask again.
If 4 skill bars aren’t enough for you to find something useful, I just don’t know what to say.
Necros can weapon switch. The reason ele’s and engi’s can’t is because their respective attunements and kits would provide more options than all other classes have access to. So your suggestion may solve the issue as long as it was given to all the other classes above and beyond the in combat weapon swap they already have.
I feel like allowing these to be thrown in the Mystic Forge for a random, new Superior Rune/Sigil would be good for the economy. The prices of the most useless Superior Runes/Sigils would increase, and the prices of the most demanded ones would decrease.
We wouldn’t sigh when the Soulbound runes/sigils—an exotic drop!—landed in our inventories in dungeons, as we do now—only able to vendor them for ~2 silver.
It would mirror the existing situation with armor/weapons (Exotic armor/weapons can be combined for a new Exotic).
Any economy reasons for why this isn’t allowed?
Another example of what ascended armor COULD have been…
Making armor skin based on the HUMAN gods would be quite silly for the other races though.
To be fair, Though, having Nightmare, Inquest and Flame Legion doesn’t exactly make sense for other races either.

And yes, ANet needs to start making sure that Charr especially actually get armor that doesn’t look like it was just stretched across their body model.
Asura armor doesn’t generally look bad, it’s just hard to see the details because of scale, and the bobblehead-style helms often look totally disproportionate.
We may get them one day.
In gemstore for 800.
God armors purchasable for karma or gold at the temple of each respective god? That would make too much sense and too little money.
Thief has the attack one already.
The signet is like a revamp and mash-up of Insidious Parasite and Order of the Vampire from GW1.
In terms of the concept, I see it as a vampiric aura that drains health from anyone that attacks you.
We need a dark bloodthirsty heavy.
Just add Shadow Knights so heavy armor crusader fans can be happy.
As others said, guardians and warriors already cover that niche. I still think it’d be better if engineers were heavy and we got a new medium armour profession instead
