I quite like this skill but to me for an elite it is rather lackluster and i think with a few changes it could be improved

1) Stats – Make them have increased stats based on the elementalist
2) Cast time – Reduce it 3/4 of a second or 1second at most
3) Cool down – Have it start the moment that it is summoned not when it dies
4) Duration – Remove the 60second duration
5) Health – Make them regain health outside of combat (like Flesh Golem)

I think rather than the elementals “best” attack being automatic i think it would be better if it was like Flesh Golem and that it replaced the Elite slot with the skill and it uses it when we want them to.

Stats wise they should be the same as they are now for Health and Toughness but different stats increased depending on the Elemental summoned:

Fire: Increased Power/Attack Power and Precision
Water: Increased Healing Power and Boon Duration
Air: Increased Crit Damage and Boon Duration
Earth: Increased Vitality and Toughness

Also make it so that it uses its “best” attack when summoned but one that has 50% effectiveness and doesn’t put the main attack on cool down something like:

Fire = Casts “Lightening Strike” when summoned (random name for a fire attack lol)
Water = When summoned casts Cleansing Wave
Air Elemental = Casts “Mind Shock” on the currently selected target
Earth = Casts “Stomp” when summoned

Focus. Make some noise!!!

While I agree that some of the skills need rework, I think most of you really really underestimate the focus.

I’m a rank 50 tpvp ele. I’m running a full zerker fresh air build s/f and I am really successful with it.
The focus allows me to actually engage in a real fight without dying when an enemy sneezes my way while still having unbelievable burst damage.

Now why do I think the focus isn’t as bad as u think:
On a regular class you get 4 skills from your offhand.
Which skills are fine on ele focus?
- Air 4 (could use some utility buff, like swiftness)
- Air 5 (could use a slight cd reduction)
- Earth 4: This skill is soooooo amazing… decent aoe dmg, cripple, 3 condis remove, projectile reflection aaaand blast finisher. just amazing
- Earth 5: … So strong. leave it as it is. it’s perfect.

Those are 4 good skills. Those skills make focus worth using. trust me!

The rest of the skills really need some rework (fire cough)… but some of the things you suggest are just crazy and would make the focus an op weapon.

Hei Anet comon whats up with that bullkitten? This troll warriors who runs like Usain bolt and 6 Guys cant chatch them? Pls regulate this its stupid right now to play as a roamer.This class can do every thing,this is unfair unbalanced.they have highest Def/HP and can resete every fight so.
Also with Thief,two shadowsteps and with shortbow,25 % movespeed i cant catch these guys,what the hell?
Pls adjust the range from warriors charge skill this is to much!

but running dungeons take even less skill – most of which is just avoiding the insta-gib attack from the NPCs

  1. 400hp/sec heal.
  2. scales well with healing gear
  3. Combined with 15 point Adrenal Health far exceeds 400hp/sec
  4. Passive aspect means interrupts have no impact on heal
  5. Passive aspect means player is healed while stunning opponents and while running away

There needs to be more balance to this signet. If the heal stays @400+hp/sec, then there needs to be some counter play to it.

Examples

  • reduce the heal
  • remove passive healing when not attacking
  • reduce scaling of heal with healing gear
  • separate heal into passive component + active component

Suggestion:
Healing Signet: passively heals for 250hp/sec. Heals an additional “X” for every successful adrenaline-generating attack, where “X” is normalized to roughly 150hp/sec (and reduce the scaling)

Your siege placement is bad. And you had more than enough people there to clump up and smash the siege.

If you didn’t want to do that, you also had enough people to have manned a proper set of lord-room siege. Let the Zerg breach, and then farm them.

All of this should have been in place and kept refreshed before the attack ever began.

I’m saying this as gently and politely as possible, when I say it is a learn to play issue for your server.

The current debate over the power of Conditions is exasperated by the fact that all Condition classes you encounter in WvW boast an additional 36/40% Condition duration from food.

This food is a balance anomaly as it far outpaces the benefits of any other food in this game by leagues. To drive this point home I will compare it to other forms of Condition Duration increases. This food (and by extension, the-40% Condition Duration food too) dilute any reasonable debate about this topic because of their huge impact on game-play.

Similar to how the old Omnomberry Pie blessed Crit-builds with extreme survivability, Rare Veggie Pizza makes Condition builds far more powerful than they’d normally be.

But let’s see how various other forms of Condition Duration are budgeted.

Most level 80 food that focuses Duration increases follow the same model by adding 15% to the respective Condition and 70% to a stat.

Examples:

Bowl of Fire Meat Chili
+15% Burning Duration
+70 Precision

Chocolate Omnomberry Cake
+15% Chill Duration
+70 Power

etc.

comparing this to Power foods it’s easy to conclude that 15% Condition Duration to a single type is budgeted the same as +100 stats.

Examples:

Spicy Butternut Squash Soup
+100 Power
+10% Crit-Damage

Fancy Potato Leak Soup
+100 Precision
+70 Condition Damage

etc.

This is somewhat mirrored in the trait-lines where going 30 points into one tree will add 300 Power, 300 Precision, 30% Critical Strike Damage or 30% Condition Duration.
The standard here seems to be 100 Power/Precision equal 10% Condition Duration or 15% Duration to a single Condition type.

In comes the (not so) Rare Veggie Pizza (representative of all Condition Duration foods).

Rare Veggie Pizza
+40% Condition Duration
+70 Condition Damage

This food in itself adds more Condition Duration than an entire, fully specced, trait line. It adds 3 times as much Condition Duration as any other level 80 food. And does so to ALL Conditions as opposed to a single type.

Applying the budgeting standards above it equates to a Food that adds +400 Power and +70 Precision.

Rune sets that typically apply diverse and powerful boni generally considered more potent than food, add a mere 10% Condition Duration.

My point being.

Compared to ALL other standards applied within this game, this vast increase in Condition Duration provided by food is an anomaly and dilutes any reasonable debate about Conditions by extending them far beyond their means.

In simply cannot understand how such a powerful food is allowed to exist when it so clearly breaches established standards.

PS: The same reasoning applies to the -40% Food. No combination of Runes and Food should make you practically impervious to an entire damage type. Point being, no food should affect anything by 40%.
