Plague Signet In Dungeons

Good day everyone,
I had encountered this kind of problem – when in dungeons, I`ve noticed that plague signet passive effect either doesn`t work at all, or works really strange. As far as I understand, I should draw conditions from my teammates to myself, but to do that I nearly have to stand at the same spot as ally, but even then sometimes nothing happens. Maybe I don`t understand the mechanics, it has some kind of radius? it draws only every x seconds? I can only draw from one ally at the time? You can`t draw because of something else? But in PvE and PvP it has always worked as intended.
So, is it me being buggy or I missed something.

I found it very useful from time to time. For example some benefits are that you can use it while moving, so you can easily revive allies while avoiding dangerous areas, as it already been said, you can revive up to 3 allies and range of signet can revive allies without you risking getting close and getting yourself in danger. There are some downsides to that – first of all huge cd, second small radius of revival, your allies have to be hear each other so you can revive them all. That said at first I was skeptical about this signet, and still won`t use it anywhere besides the dungeons, but in dungeons it was a lifesaver from total wipe quite a few times.

Name change would be really nice, since a while ago anet released reserved names, many of them became available for people who would really use it.

As for the others:
Race change – Will never happen due to personal story progression, same goes to order change.
anet announced that they will ad item which allows to change appearance, not sure about sex change tho.

that would be neat, I would also like to see in guild roosters how much influence each member has earned (in overall, today, this weak, at least something). Sorry if this was already posted.

On necros being "broken"

How can you say Necros are not broken with a straight face?

I only have to bring up ONE example…Minion AI

Watching a flesh golem do NOTHING over and over and over again is a complete joke. Any slight bump in terrain totally ruins his charge too.

Even WOW 1.0 had better pet UI than this ten years ago.

Whoever programmed this should be embarrassed.

Whoever reviewed it in BETA and still released it this way should be more embarrassed.

Whoever has continued to do nothing after 3 months shows complete ignorance or incompetence.

Sorry…You can’t have a minion based profession with this poor AI and say it’s NOT broken.

What if I told you that you can choose something else besides minions.
But srsly, I partially agree with you, I would really like to play minion based necro, and having minions standing besides you with pom-pons is ridiculous. But then again you can`t say that class is a total failure when you have alot of other builds that you can effectively use.

I'd rather have reanimator disabled until a fix is ready.

Are you saying it would be ideal if they didn’t degen? If so I completely agree.

That or let them live for at least 20-30 sec and let us have more than 1 at this rate

Had an issue sometimes in wvwvw when grasping vines didn`t immobilize the enemy when he was running, instead they appeared behind (like the point the enemy was the moment I started casting), so for me it`s an unreliable skill.

I found funny how many people who play as necros or plan doing so, after reading those post that necros can`t do anything, reply like “yeah that`s true, I should probably play as somebody else” without even trying and giving a shot. I for example love playing as necromancer, I`ve also played as guardian, engineer, elementalist, but none of them provided such survivability and especially damage as necromancer. Of course there are some things that I don`t like in necromancer, but it doesn`t affect my gameplay since there are so much more things that I like.
As far as I see people concerned more with which most effective class they should play, rather that who they like the most.

I'd rather have reanimator disabled until a fix is ready.

In my opinion jagged horrors have great potential, and I`m sorry if I repeat somebody`s words already. But I see those kittens as an additional zerg minions which while not being able to attach or hold directly can boost necromancers performance.

In ideal way it would be better to summon more than one kitten (up to 3-5?), or let the jagged live as long as a normal minion until somebody kills him. That way each horror could add +toughness to necromancer on next trait, + add the ability to create toxic area on death/ draw conditions / remove boons when having corresponding traits (as far as I understood now toxic cloud doesn`t , not sure about others). It`s fine that jagged horror doesn`t have that much hp or dmg, I don`t think it`s it purpose.

Now, I agree basically what jagged horror does – resurrects, if your lucky it will distract enemy for 1 sec and die. Didn`t have problems with horror being agro and rushing on enemies , so far I`m only annoyed by my character yelling “you`ve” killed my minion and stuff.
