all characters are on all servers just you can only go on one server

Heya, i really want to transfer over to Desolation because i wasn’t able to change before the patch. When i looked at how much it would be, it was 1800 gems, that’s around about £25. Or, i have been told, 40 gold, this has really made me feel like i’m stuck in the world i am in and it has now really annoyed me.

I hope this doesn’t sound like a rant but i just dont no what to do????

We’ve got a vocal group of downers on the forums. Yes, the class has bugs, yes, we could use some buffs in some areas. No the class does not suck.

My engineer is my main, I’ve played thief, warrior, and guardian enough to say that I enjoy my engi significantly more. The engineer is a goofy class, and I love it for that quality. I spend most of my time in WvW and I LOVE playing with my engi. I don’t die often, have 0 problem soloing supply camps without kiting.

Imo, the CC abilities of the engineer are one of the biggest strengths of the class. This goes mainly for WvW. If you use ’em right, you can really knock a group of people out of their rotation. In PvE the class is still awesome, I used bombs and the FT leveling up and had a ball.

The engineer is not for everyone, give it a shot you may be pleasantly surprised.

I was thinking of rolling an engi because some people ion my guild were saying they were fun and quite good, but then after reading some stuff on the forums its slightly changing my mind.

So please leve some comments with pro’s and cons or just explaining about the class

Is there going to be big class changed is the next patch, if so what classes are you working on the most?

I cant decide between Ele or Necro, please help on your preferences and pros and cons.

Hello, I went on to the trading post and I cant buy anything because all the buttons are grey.

I have cleared my cache by deleting the local.dat file.
I have sorted out all my firwall and anti virus software and its not that.
I have tried restarting (game and machine).

personally i think we have enough races, more would be nice though. But i mainly think we need some new classes, most people have played all classes and we we need some new excitement

Rangers lack on good utility skills, they aren’t as fun or good as other classes. Something that I think should be added is like a skill that could add a element to you weapon for 15 – 30 secs eg;
Water > Freeze for next 5 attacks
Fire> Burns for next five attacks
Earths > Bleeds for next five attacks
Air > Shock for next five attacks.
Or a utility the brings out you other pet for 30 – 45 secs.
Leave comments on what other utility skills should be added or if you like my ones so far, the list will grow as i start to think of more

Asura have a better racial ability, but chances are you’d still use the ones provided to the class as a whole. I don’t like how their toes clip through boots. Not sure there is a pair out there that they don’t. They also have a really cool greatsword animation.

Not a fan of cabbages, but they look alright.

Humans look fine and no real complaints.

I personally prefer the female models because they have a more detailed body shape whereas the males always feel so flat in their armor.

I suggest looking at the thread stickied above to see which you like in the various armors and choose from there. The racial abilities aren’t the biggest of deal.

Something that really annoys me is Asuras hoods. I think they should come out at the bottom like every other race (except char). Like the humans.

You mean like Tornade wich we already have? Doesn’t transform based on attunument but transforms you into a tornade, with an increased healthbar and give 3 diffrent types of AoE skill and it’s completely kittening useless. But we got it!

Similar to tornado but not, i mean like we ourselves can turn into an elemental (like the ones we can summon) i just think that will be fun.

I was just sitting down playing on my ele when an idea just popped straight into my head. Like the necro has death shroud i was thinking that an Elementalist should be able to transform in some kind of way, i think they should transform into something based on their attunement. Just like the necro, i think that this should have another health bar so it doesn’t decrease your main one, but not as big as the death shroud health bar.

I think an engineer should be able to use a hammer as a weapon and be able to weapon swap, i know we have kits but to be honest the don’t do much damage at all and they don’t use the weapons stats on our weapons. Hammer would fit in so well with the class seeming as it is an engineer and they build stuff with hammers lol.

My ideas for Engineer Hammer skills:

1) Hammer Swing – 0.5s activation
Chain. Swing your hammer at your foe.

>Hammer Bash – 0.5s activation
Chain. Bash your foe with your hammer.
Damage:

>Propelled Smash – 0.75s activation
Leap at and smash your foe with a propelled smash.

2) Shrapnel Stomp – 1s activation – 12s recharge
Slam a shrapnel bomb into the ground with your hammer, making it
explode knocking back and bleeding enemies.

3) Mallet Polarization – 0.5s activation – 25s recharge

I like the idea of a hammer for the Engineer as well. In fact, at one point I liked the idea so much (before reading this topic) that I thought of some skills for it :P

As for my reasoning why a hammer would be good for Engineer… The Hammer just seems the most logical to me and it would allow the Engineer to fight melee without the use of the Tool Kit. A mace simply feels and sounds less Engineery in my opinion
