This is going to sound funny but I recently took a job to where I work evenings in the US.

Mostly so I can command during EU prime time (US morning) seeing as we generally don’t have one. Figured i’d help my server out. lol

Hey there Bergemann. My guild on Darkhaven is currently seeking experienced warriors and necros. We do not have anything close to a map blob. The most we run is 13 on a good day.

We are currently seeking the following classes to help balance out our WvW group.

2 Guardians: Support Hammer/Staff. Build overview upon joining

1 Elemental: Support Staff build. Build overview upon joining

2 Necromancers: Need both a Power Build and a Well Build.

2 Warriors: Hammer & Sword/Warhorn. Build overview upon joining.

1 Mesmer: Always needed for any engagement.

This guild is not completely for Zerging in WvW. We do in-house sPvP tournaments for rewards that the guild provides to the winner.

There is a guild tax of 10 silver a day to help with the awards given to the sPvP tournament winners. It is also used to help those that just reached 80 to get geared if needed.

Also one more thing. We would like for everyone that joins to have that ‘drive’ to get better and progress there skills as a player. We do not always ‘zerg’ we will split into 5 man party groups and run around a map. This is to help you learn your class better and to survive in uneven fights. It will always help you learn your teammates skills and how to utilize there abilities with your own to make eachother stronger.

Day in, day out, “some” guilds/players will hide behind them. And if we try to clear them with trebs, they just portal bomb them. This was 6 months ago, 3 months ago, and apparently players still uses ACs every single day and drag it out in a battle of 5 hours attrition.

Just going to say something about this particular part.

If they have enough numbers in the tower to portal bomb and kill everything you have set up to take the tower then either you didn’t defend them or you were outnumbered.

If you were outnumbered then chances are you wouldn’t have taken the tower to begin with.

You could always simply just treb the wall and all the siege down. It’s not really that hard.

Slight modification to the guild. We have merged with the WvW player base of the guild [One] on darkhaven to form Look Mom No Hands [WIPE]

Our player base is growing but we still need to get some more frontline classes. Warriors and Guardians are in short supply.

Have gotten a couple people so far but am still looking for hardcore wvw players.

Our main focus is not going to be the PPT but simply finding and killing anything red. I am in need of all of the classes that you play and would very much like to have you with me.

Now I understand Darkhaven is a huge change from a top tier server. Give us a try though.

This is a good idea since recruiting in your own server gets no replies. I should have done this when I wanted to start a guild.. I would totally be game but I’m quitting lol.

I have tried recruiting on server but all the wvw people already have guilds that…really don’t do much (minus a couple).

I am seeking to create a SMALL WvW guild on Darkhaven. I am only looking to get up to about 30 members for the sole purpose of killing anything red.

All classes are need at this point. I would prefer veteran players but I am more then willing to teach newbies. Teamspeak is a MUST. Your listening skills must be above average please, so should your sense of direction… Tired of saying west and people go south east or something. -.- lol

Hello everyone. I am going to make this thread based off of the assumption that you played against, or at one point, with Darkhaven.

I have been on darkhaven since the week the game came out and have been a commander about…. a week or 2 after that. I have gone through the ups and downs of the server and have stuck it out with some great people.

As of right now we only have seven, maybe eight, guilds that are orginized for WvW on Darkhaven.

Nova – NA
XSV – NA
BRL – SA
BR – SA
Rush – SA
SoTD – All
LoL – NA

The guilds listed here are all great guilds but do not field a large amount of players at all times.

In the past we had many, many, more guilds. We stood toe to toe with Dragonbrand and Magumma for awhile. But eventually the coverage killed our morale and people left for “greener fields”.

I am not seeking a LARGE amount of transfers. I am just seeking one or two guilds for our Oceanic/SEA time zones to help us in our attempt to make Darkhaven more stabilized. I don’t want to see Morale destroy my server for the fourth time since the game came out.

I understand people, mainly guilds, like to have a server wide voice server. Darkhaven does have a large teamspeak channel with privacy settings and is administrated greatly.

Darkhaven would also welcome any single players that join our server during any time zone. As of right now Darkhaven is just the little pugling that could.

Uh, news flash, we don’t have a night presence. You posted at 4am my time. They wouldn’t have an outmanned buff because we were all asleep. DH gets our business done during normal NA hours, so way to come to the forums to throw your server under the bus for an night defense. Our guild still had a few on late last night you could have come to AR bl to ask for assistance.

We had 20 people on to take bay and the south towers. as soon as that was over we told all of them that they would be back right before tic to recap bay. no one stayed, no one listened. EBG had plenty of people, i went there and asked for help.

So ya, when 6 people show up to defend our bl maybe we deserve to loose it.

ET has done a fantastic job in revitalizing. Was a shocker for us on reset.

I only wish Darkhaven had coordinated WvW guilds such as these guys and the other on ET. We only got you beet by numbers so far. Good job ET.

Just to throw this in… Get ready IOJ. >:)

Greetings all. I would first like to introduce myself.

My main character, and only 80, is a guardian named Acium. I have been a commander on Darkhaven for a VERY long time. Some of you may even know who I am from the 2 WvW short stories I wrote a while back. If you do i’m the same person. I still have that passion for WvW even with all the inbalances that people talk about. To me nothing is more fun then defending a tower for another 15 mins for that extra tic while outnumbered 10 to 1. Or sieging hills for 2 hours just to get wiped after making it to lords. It’s what drives me to play this game and I want to share this passion with others so that, maybe, I can restore the pride and passion that drove Darkhaven in the past. I have been through the Ups and Downs of my server and would like to restore it’s WvW side to the way it used to be. I cannot, however, do this myself and will need tons of help.

I am seeking any New or Veteran player that has a passion for PvP and WvW. In fact I would be more then happy to teach ANY new player about WvW, the group play, and the tactics that should be common practice.

Now, just because I say I want to bring the fire back to WvW that doesn’t mean we will ONLY be a WvW guild. We will have PvE events, such as Champ farming, doing Meta Events, and the Scarlets minions. Guild missions will come later when we are able to do them. All of which will be scheduled and based off of others schedules.

WvW Events will be more common. Such as rallying up to take on Red Borderlands or defend our own. Or maybe Golem rushing a fully fortified borderland. Golem rushes will generally be scheduled, all other WvW will not be. WvW training will be scheduled as well.

Like I said in the above posts NEW and VETERAN players are welcome. I will train you if you need it. I may even learn a thing or 2 from you.

When we get the members I will start to divide the classes into teams such as;

Green Team
Blue Team
Red Team
Gold Team

Each one will have an even number of classes to balance it out. More teams may be added with more people. The teams will help me call out teams for specific objectives and I will generally have a commander in charge of a team so I can have them tag up so I can keep track of them.

That’s all I have time to talk about at the moment as I am about to defend our BL from IoJ zerglings. lol

It’s good to have family that has spare parts and knows how to fix it. lol

Back at the launch of the game, I use to wvw and lurk on the wvw section of the forums a lot . I remember seeing your name a lot on the forums. However, I can’t seem to be able to recall your in game name.
Btw, Darkhaven has a facebook group, that might help you get a list of our commanders.

IIRC it was just actium (at least the one I had seen, which was a warrior I believe).
Anyways, is the facebook thing public? I’d like to go through it as well (just see how many I recognize), but I don’t use facebook.

The only lvl 80 i have and the only i really play is my guardian Acium. No T. Just good ol’ Commander Acium. ^.^ I usually only played West Coast Prime Time since I lived in San Diago for the past 4 years. I’m central time zone now that I have moved back home.

Btw, since i’ve been gone so long everyone may think i’m a nooby commander on Darkhaven again. ;.; don’t hate me, i’ve played on DH since launch and have been a commander on the server since about 2 weeks after that. *thanks to donations by ex-guildies in WE and a lot of others)

When I was unpacking and setting up my house I had laid my Tower and Monotor in my office and when I came back with my marble top dresser i accidently kicked over my monotor and stepped on it, cracking the screen. Then I got mad and my hand slipped off the dresser and the full wait of the marble landed on the tower… smashed it and my soul at the same time. ;.;

Whew I finally get internet back into my new place after seperating from the military and moving from San Diago back to my hometown and I see the same stuff that has dragged darkhaven down for a while… -.-

C’mon guys. You gotta realize that your playing with people from all over the world and everyone acts differently in their own ways.

I don’t know about you guys but I kinda enjoy the new orb feature. They can’t be hacked out of the keep by flyers. lol

It also give the solo roamer a way to contribute to the entire server other then picking off people before they reach their destination.

Plus, I freakin love the new map layout. How about you?
