Hey there Nosix. I run a small 5 man havoc squad in WvW on Darkhaven and have recently been trying to gain 5 more players since we are moving up in tiers. the fights are getting bigger so i’m in need of dedicated, and skilled, fighters. Now I will answer the “req’s” you placed for the guild.

-I can tell you right now the guild does use TS3 (provided by our server)

-We do not use forums as we are not very big and generally sPvP or roam in WvW.

-I do not specify the 18+ when seeking members but I do tell them that if they are easily offend they should find a new guild. lol

-We generally like to take 5 up against 10+ enemies. Knowing we are going to loose at some point in the fight we still push ourselves constantly. We also brain storm ideas for specific builds and how to improve.

-As of right now we haven’t done many guild events other then with our Server as kitten…as in last night we did a Roaming Ranger Rump where it was all ranger night… was horrible with walls of reflections everywhere from IOJ. We also plan to stick it out in GW2 for sometime and do plan to start our own guild events soon as me and my officer have been brain storming on that.

If you are willing to give the guild a try then i’m sure we can work something out with an xfer plan, if you don’t like it then you can always keep looking. Only way you will find the guild you want is to give things a try… Also we generally run around 7-8pm to 12pm central time zone. All joking aside, HoD is an amazing and strong server. If your looking for any Servers t3-t5 check them out. Could be what your looking for.

This is a great guild and has done wonders for Darkhaven. If your a roamer and looking to find some teammates in the borderlands instead of getting 4v1’d constantly then this is your guild. Great bunch of characters to.

Hey all. I am currently seeking active players on Darkhaven and/or players currently interested in xfering to darkhaven to form a solid core for WvW. I am also branching off from WvW into PvE and could use more members for Guild Missions, Events, Boss Farming, regular Dungeon goers, and some people to enjoy long walks through Orr with…cause you know…dead things.

For my WvW core group I need the following Classes more than anything else at the moment. Must be willing to use TS3 and Guild Builds.

-3 Guardians
-2 Necromancers

If you are not on Darkhaven but are thinking of checking out a different server then my guild will do what we can to help you xfer to join us.

If you are any class go ahead and shoot me a message. These are just the classes that we desperately need.

you guys should have just told FSP to xfer over then we could all be happy. lol

Now as for the guilds you will be facing if you move to DH are as follows:

GoM server;

Dui: This guild fields a large group that specialize in makeing our pug commanders life miserable lol. They also hit our BL pretty hard with at least 20 players

eXa: These guys normally hit the BLs and bring about 15-20 along with them. It makes defending difficult and fun.

OdM: Not to familier with them but I see them around

Bliss: Zerg busting guild I believe.

Vox: They normally field about 15 and tend to hit BLs in force (mostly us… -.- lol) they like to take north camp and siege it aswell..

I don’t know much more about GoM other then that and I do not know much about SBI as this is the first time i’ve matched up against them. But I do know that during NA prime they run a huge zerg in EB which makes the fights there pretty epic.

I hope any of this information will help out and I have already got into contact with players from our SEA timezones and they should be able to help you much more on that time then I can.

Now for our NA guilds we have:

MEAN: Zerg busting guild that run about 15 normally. They are very good at what they do.

NERD: Small havoc/defense squad that can be found in our BL normally making sure our stuff is being sieged and defended well. They run about 5-10

HART: Zerg busting guild but can normally be found havocing in enemy BLs with about 10-15 players.

SDS: Small havoc group of about 10 that is reforming and pushing to get more members to start zerg busting again. Great guild.

Hero: This guild is almost always in EB taking care of our 3rd and making sure we have a safe waypoint around. lol They also like to run havoc squads into the other servers 3rds and disrupt supply lines. Great guild with some great people. They normally field atleast 10.

Orr: I normally see Orr defending in our BL and/or in our 3rd of EB. They normally field anywhere between 5-15 players.

Qrew: This guild is our residential PPT guild. They run around 10-15 players and specialize in defening our BL and/or pushing and capping what they can in an enemy BL.

Alright as for the guilds on DH that run during SEA hours is:

SoTD: who usually run about 10-15 players. This guild has been on darkhaven for as long as I have been here (Over 2 years).

SoN: Not all that familier with numbers but I do see some on during NA and OCX times.

DH also has a large SEA pug following as I have without a doudte seen ques in EB when we have a commander online. The only problem is that we normally do not have a commander. If we do it’s an NA commander pulling overtime.

As for the numbers you will be facing. Well i’d say GoM runs about at least 20 man zerg in EB sometimes and i’m not to familier with SBIs numbers since this the first time we have been matched with them.

Keep in mind though that I do not play SEA times but I will without a doudt have someone from our SEA times get on here and give you much more info then I can. Just give me some time and i’ll make it happen.

Yes what Arius said. I recommend this guild if your into wvw on DH. They have a good leader/driver but could use some more people so they can stand against the bigger guilds that run in wvw.

My guild could definatly use a Engi for our havoc ops. We focus on harassing any points we can and supporting the main zerg with information on enemy movements, cutting supply lines, and ninja’ing enemy towers, and/or keeps sometimes.

We also defend towers we cap to stall the enemy zerg for as long as possible. Also my guild is on DH. Come join the T4 fun!

If your a SEA player and looking for a WvW guild, then this guild is definatly for you. These guys work hard for DH and could always use players to back them up.

Hey Stalin my guild on DH is forming into a small roaming/havoc guild that supports the bigger zergs with scouting and cutting supplies. Also trying to cap any towers/keeps we can sneak. Let me know if interested.

As of now we are loosing in T4, but only slightly. Two weeks ago GoM completely destroyed us but since then we have worked hard as a server to correct the mistakes we have made in the past. We are growing in confidence and in WvW players. I would alo like to thank all of those that have recently made the transfer to Darkhaven. Your contribution has most definitely been noticeable and though we may not say it all the time we do appreciate you giving Darkhaven WvW a chance to become your new home.

Now lets get out there and give CD and GoM a run for their money.

Now for the Requirements.

Teamspeak is a must. No getting around that.

Next is be calm. At times it will be somewhat boring and then at other times extremely frustrating cause they keep golem rushing or there is just to many. But then at times we will push them back. Then you will see what it is like to drive a huge force back and the feeling is fantastic.

I hope that this message gets to the right people as I know that this is not for everyone. Just like zerg busting wasn’t for me. Sure it was fun but it got stale after a while and now i’m going back to how it used to be and how I used to play. So i’m hoping that I get people with the same mindset as me.

Greetings all. I am Acium, Lord Commander of the Greywall Wardens. We are a newly established force on Darkhaven and are actively recruiting new players and veterans of World vs World. We do NOT require people to run specific builds as we are a Capture and Hold type of guild instead of a Zerg Busting one like most are. Our Guild Ops will consist of hitting an enemy borderlands and hold whatever we capture for as long as possible. Our training will not consist of stacking up and bashing into other zergs. Our training will consist of finding siege locations, utilizing the choke points in keeps and towers, and using CC’s and Siege to the best effect possible.

Now some of you are going to wonder, “WHO are these people, WHY do they PPT so hard, HOW do they do this”. Well let me tell you

First is the WHO. We are a small group of Wardens that play the Capture and Hold part of WvW. We love capturing a tower or keep and Holding off enemy zergs one after the other and we are looking for those that love the same thing we do.

Next is the WHY. The WHY we do it is simple. Darkhaven needs it. My server has many guilds that zerg bust, and are extremely good at it. But that is not for everyone. Most people like to go into WvW for the fun and not want to have to change their builds and stay with the blue tag like a fat kid on a twinky. Which is what we offer. My guild will NOT make you switch builds to play, we want diversity and uniqueness.

Next is HOW we do this. It may be simple to explain how we defend a keep in theory. But in practice it is much harder. You need a constant feed of the enemy position, where they are, what they are doing, how many. You need constant flow of supplies coming in and you need siege to defend. If you are caught unprepared then you have lost already. So I have come up with a plan to set these in motion and that is to break the guild into Squads. These Squads will function as follows.

Squad 1: They are the Squad that will hold the objective that was just taken from the enemy, they are in charge of siegeing and upgrading.

Squad 2: This Squad is the attack Squad. They peal off after taking the main object to try and cap anything else that they can. But in cases of dire need to defend they will return to Squad 1 and help.

Squad 3: This is my Scouts/Roamers squad. They will cap and recap camps, sentries, tag keeps, and kill any enemy players they can. They will also harass the enemy zerg the best they can by picking off stragglers and up lvls. But will return to main unit upon dire need.

Squad 4: This squad is in charge of the supply lines. They will walk yaks, defend them, and make sure our main camp remains open. But will return to main unit upon dire need.

Each squad will have it’s own Captain but will still be directed by the main Commander. Squads will also rotate players in and out so that they can get into all areas and not become bored by building siege constantly. At one point you may be walking a yak and the next you may be a roamer. We will not let you walk yaks all day as we know it is boring but is needed and will not go unnoticed.

Hey everyone. So for the last couple days i’ve been trying to decide on a good WvW oriented guild name. One that is more focused on PPT instead of Zerg Busting.

I know PPT can be boring to most but I’m talking about going into a Borderlands, capturing an enemy keep and siegeing it up with 1million ACs.

I could use the help of the ever imaginative WvW community for a good guild name. It can be Serious or Funny.

So far I was leaning towards Arrow Cart heroes [AC] but I don’t know if Yak’s Bend already has a guild named that. ;3

So, a little help anyone?

Hey there [WB] why not check Darkhaven out. It’s our first time in just over a year and a half getting into what is now called Silver League. We could defintely use a guild in SEA prime time. Check this thread for more information.

Hey there fellow Darkhavians. Just want to say sorry I haven’t been on much the past few weeks. I just moved and still working on settling things in at my new place. I’ll also be on during the Early NA hours 8am-1/2pm cst to pugmanned since my current shift changed to 3pm-12am. I can’t do it alone though so bump for any and all pugmanneders willing to help out!

Hello to the both of you. If your still currently seeking I recommend checking out some guilds on Darkhaven. There are a couple recruitment threads on the forums already. The 2 major zerg busting guilds on Darkhaven would be; I Am Vindictive [MEAN] (they don’t bite to much so don’t worry) and The Avant Garde [TAG] who specialize in the ridiculous.

Both of these guilds are Zerg Busting and would highly welcome both of you.

Now for the Roaming guilds. When you say roaming the guild Qrew [Qrew] comes to mind. They are a small guild that work very well with eachother and their guild leader Quadnau is chill. They specialize in Defense, ninja capping, and just generally harassing the enemy wherever possible.

For other guilds to consider I’d recommend Heroes of Tyrias Return [HoTR]. They used to just be pretty casual about WvW but have started to expand their horizons into WvW and could use some skilled fighters such as the 2 of you.

Hello everyone. I have noticed an increase of players of all time zones on my server currently looking for guilds. I would like to go ahead and post some of the most active guilds I have seen on my server. If you ever see any of them ask for an invite and i’m sure you will not regret it.

Guild List:

The Avant Garde [TAG] Highly active in WvW and sPvP with weekly guild activities.

For The Beavah [BevR] Highly active in general. Great bunch of people that are experianced.

I Am Vindictive [MEAN] Don’t let the name scare you, they only bite a little. This guild is highly active in WvW and competes in Guild vs Guild combat. If your interested in that, hit them up.

Live In Our Nightmare [Lion] I have not gotten to know there members and leader very well but they are active in WvW. I know close to nothing else about them unfortunatly. A little help from someone appreciated.

Darkhaven Elite [DHE] Though primarily a PvE guild this guild is extremely huge and generally has players on at all times doing WvW/sPvP/PvE/Dungeons. You think of it, they are probably off somewhere doing it.

Shadow of The Darkside [SoTD] Our over night crew in WvW. This guild has done any and everything they can to help Darkhaven triumph in our WvW matches. Great bunch of players.
