We finally took out the DH thief trolling us inside of Durios for an hour or so. I will say this, though. If your objective was to keep about 8 of us distracted for a while, then mission accomplished.

Can we stop pretending that NSP has any significant/decent US night time presence? There was literally 3 people in our borderlands at that time unless there were randoms PvEing bears/wolves/kittens/etc.

Also, just to add on to that. It wasn’t the people in EBG that went to your BL it was the people in our own BL that did.

hmm, there is little love for DH in any of these posts. Even when were down by such a large margin people get mad when we cap something or do something that isn’t what they expected.

Like going into AR BL. Someone saying “NSP will have time to fortify it now.” fortify, yes, but defend it with who? During the NA work day AR will cap everything. Over night NSP will cap everything. In the meantime, DH will continue to come out at NA primetime and fight on whichever BL we decide to be on at the time. Were not here to win cause we know we can’t. Were just looking to have fun now.

Also, i’d like to say that during NA primetime I think DH does pretty amazing out there. Early mornings and late night not so much seeing as we don’t have as many night time playes as NSP or early morning people as AR. Atleast we can give you guys a fight when most of us are online.

C’mon guys. You know posting screenshots of any type of exploiting, hacking, or whatever it may be will jsut be played off by the other side. So I wouldn’t waste your time doing it anymore. People will hack, exploit, bug, or w/e people do just cause they can and don’t want to get in the right way.

Anyways, i’v had some fun battles so far. Like yesterday evening against AR at ANZ Pass when you guys had 4-5 trebs hitting from SM. Was pretty fun. ^.^

A promotional song for our PvE players on Darkhaven. Distribute it to all guilds. ^.^ Keep recruiting those PvE guys into WvW, teach them how to fight a war. We need them all.

It’s been fun ladies and gentlemen but it’s time for Darkhaven to move down a tier. The battles have been fun and extremely difficult but as I have stated before, we are far from giving up.

As of yesterday our new WvW guild alliance of Darkhaven has been formed, we got all the guild leaders and commandes together. Were making baby steps but there still steps in the right direction.

Also to my friends in WE I hope you have fun over in Dragonbrand. Sorry Darkhaven couldn’t take you any higher then we could. It’s been an honor to fight against and with all of you. Take care of them for me Dragonbrand or i’ll come back and rip your eyes out. ^.^

i think overall DB has really turned itself around our commanders at NA are getting alot better at listening and people following orders i think thats one of the main reason we are putting down the hurt locker on DH and BP

So im not gonna lie, I was the commander of the Darkhaven forces for the last 4 hours or so in EBG. When I got there we had nothing. Glad everyone stepped up and fought hard. You DB people really didnt want to get rid of our keep though…jees. We trebbed, back doored, went threw the cave, dug a tunnel, ate some chicken, and you guys still wouldn’t give it up.

Also, DH and BP definatly WAS teaming up against DB today in EBG. I know cause I was talking to there commander the hole time. Cheap I know, but Db handled it. you guys have place fully locked down. so many trebs and stuff everywhere. lol

Good fights to all. Had fun.

Also just to add on to what caliburn said. I will not be leaving. I will be with darkhaven till I get tired of the game. Wish you the best of luck Caliburn been fun playing with you guys.

We eventually took SM grit. was epic. right after that though not even 5 mins later BP teled in for our fail mesmer sweep and then a minute later DB had our wall down. We managed to push you guys back out completely with some very determind defenders.

I’d also like to point out that we FINALLY have a que for our home borderlands as of tonight! Looks like our work is paying off little by little. There still inexperienced but were teaching them. Hopefully we don’t just roll over and die… i know it was reset night but i dont think we had a que last week so im excited.

To add on to that I was the commander on at the time but I take absolutly no credit for capping SM. Everyone knew what had to be done. I was just the rally beacon. Thank you everyone for a hard fought and well deserved victory.

That’s why were doing this. Most people don’t listen because of 2 reason. 1 there either just there to troll people or 2 they don’t really know better. I’v had alot of people ask me where to get supplies this week which shows that our server has alot of new people and knowone is teaching them.

Hello everyone. As msot of you know we have, and still are, loosing alot of players that made up the majority of our WvW population. We are still free falling and will not likely get back up anytime soon.

BUT, I have faith in the darkhaven people that we can turn this around. I would like any and all Guild Leaders OR WvW Commanders to send me an in game mail or a message on here (the forums). In this message I would like to know the following things.

Guild Leaders:

1. The hours you and your guildies make your way into WvW and if you will be willing to work with others.

2. How many members you bring in to WvW daily, or if you do not WvW daily, how many of your members DO WvW daily.

3. Would you be willing to take on a leadership roll OTHER then you being just a guild leader.

As a guild leader you are personally responsible for your guildmates. This is true except for in WvW. If you have the capability to lead a 10+ group of people then please, do so. We need more roaming death squads and camp cappers. Zerging from one place to another isn’t effective against a server that can out zerg you. So split them up and make them fight you as evenly as possible.

Now for the Commanders of Darkhaven.

1. I would also like to know the hours of play time you put into WvW yourself, whether your with your guild or not.

2. As a Commander you will be held responsible for your succesess and failure. So I would like to know if you are fully capable of coeping with this and not rage quit cause people called you out on it. I have messed up alot when commanding groups but you have to learn from it. It’s the only way to get better.

3. Will you be able to work side by side with another commander that is also on the map? I have seen this multiple times just this week where commanders completely ignore eachother and do there own thing. This will not stand and we must rectify this. Communication is key.

4. And finally. Will you be able to relinquish your commander authority if a more “capable” commander logs in? I myself find this hard to know but I know of commanders that are better then me with strategies. So I learned from them, watched how they led and now…i know to promise the zerg horsies and hot women that were stolen from us and are on the other side of that wall or gate…. ^.^

To many times have I logged on and found 5-7 commanders on 1 map. We only ever need a max of 2-3 depending on our pop size. People get confused on who to follow and we wind up spreading way to far apart and get destroyed. I understand people want to lead and shout orders. But in order to lead you need to learn to follow. Try being the lil zergling thrown into a hail of ballista bolts… its very fun. ^.^

I am doing this for the sake of my server that I have hope for. We may be loosing alot of players but we are also gaining them. So I will add in this last peice of thought. TRAIN THEM. Teach them about supply camps, how to build seige weopens, not to take supplies from towers. I don’t like seeing people get mad at the noob or make sly comments about him for asking a question. What good will an ignorant mob be for us? Help me teach our new people so we can start to rise again. Who knows…the guy you teach may one day be darkhavens best commander.

Actually we came in through a door at 10% cause I had scouted it when it was down. I noticed both BP and DB in there and told our commander who had just taken hills and he brought our zerg over. Once inside BP and DB took us out and we had to go regroup.

It’s just that we took the above situation, plus the comment above yours, plus the fact that we didn’t see a single red dot on the BP BL all day yesterday, plus everyone being up all night, and we got a little crazy yesterday.

Oh, plus the fact that I know we are being double teamed. I played for 12 hours yesterday and every time I saw a DH or BP player they tried to kill me. I’m playing a female toon too with a nice outfit. And still every single time, both teams tried to kill me. They would even try to chase me down to do it. If I wasn’t an elementalist I don’t think I would have gotten away. DH and BP should be ashamed of themselves. What has WvW come to when I can’t stop by your tower to check out what upgrades you have made and how much supply you have? It’s a very neighborly thing to do. Shooting me on site? That’s just rude.

PSH I call it being a good sentinel… unless of course you chase them to far away from your guard post. >.>

The entire zerg was still outside of the tower when it was flipped.

when I rean up to the tower the back wall under the bridge to the lords room was 100% and not being attacked. When i rounded the front the zerg showed up with seigerazor guy so i rolled inside. I got on the catapalt and started hitting the gate, 10 seconds later i lagged, wasn’t to long, maybe 3-4 seconds, zerg was still outside, tower was flipped, and when i turned around a guardian and mesmer started attacking me.

So I don’t know how they got in but they did.

Ok, so congrats to the 2 guys who got inside the tower i was solo defending against a zerg of DB that was using the breakout event. You managed to get in without a gate or wall down.

I dont like calling people out like that but, really? I tried to get a screenshot but appearently my ‘pring screen’ didnt work. :\ so i have no proof other then words.. -.-

1 second i was defending a red tower, then lagged, then all of a suddon im being attacked by npcs. All within 10 seconds of when i started using the cata to defend teh tower. lol

I’m actually feeling kinda sad right now. First SE then GoF and now RE is thinking of leaving.. :\ can’t catch a break can we.

All I have to say is that even though these guilds have left, or a thinking of leaving, our smaller guilds are stepping up to the challenge. going to give a shout out to some guilds I have seen lately just so the darkhaven people that come to the forumes to read and not reply can see that we are not going down unless its in a blaze of glory.

Soul – I haven’t played in awhile but you guys are always fast to respond and more then willing to jump down into a zerg to kill seige.

These small guilds make a server. No one big guild can hold all borderlands together. It is you that we rely on and it is you that we turn to when we need that extra 30 supply or someone to add to a zerg. We will need all the small guilds to work together more then ever now seeing as were loosing more and more people.

I will personally be with darkhaven all the way down. Whether we stop our own fall and stand up or hit the bottom. We will eventually stand and we will eventually get stronger.

Well, I’d like to thank Anet for the free server transfers, and the unbalanced match-up these past 3 weeks.

Which is causing another big DH guild to leave. Maybe once DH gets pummeled over night by oceanic zergs and enough people leave for a few more weeks, DH can become competitive again, even if it’s against other outmanned servers.

What guild is leaving?

Btw you can waypoint into any keep that is being attacked if you wait for the timer to count down. Its not a hack or an exploit. Once the “repel the attackers” timer goes to 0 you have about 5 seconds to waypoint in before it closes again.

Oh it has already been broughten… -.- lame…

Anyways. I wont start until tomorrow morning for i am really tired. lol. cya then!!

Just a P.S. to my post… The advanced warning thing for WvW has been delayed due to technical difficulties so it will not be put in with the Breakout Event etc etc.. But will be implemented at a later date. ^.^ (or so they said in there forum)

Hello all! I’m finally back to GW after a week of being out in the pacific running drills.

it seems to me that the battle for my fellow Darkhaviens is taking a toll on the moral. Hopefully I will be able to help get us back into the fight as much as possible. I have the next 3 days off and plan on making Borlis Pass and Dragonbrand pay for every inch of ground they take from us on Darkhaven.

Be prepared for the Darkhaven Warmachine.

Been fun so far. had a blast defending garrison against DB around 10am pst.

Also as to the 40 man guild thing I only have a couple things to say.

1: If you come to darkhaven and play at the times you said then youw ill right with our peak time which we currently are strong.

2: What we gain during those times you should probably be prepared to loose over night or in the morning since we have hardly any coverage from about 4am – 12pm pst time, of course weekends differ.

Also i’d just like to say that everyone will try and sell there server so scouting on your own would be the best bet. Any of these 3 servers would be a good choice seeing as all 3 have lost alot of people to other servers. Of course if you went to dragonbrand you would have the oceanic coverage though so thats always a + for you. For us…well we have a banana commander that likes to ‘get freaky’ lol

no joke he actually says that when he gets in the map…pretty funny.

As for NSP, well I have had fun fighting them in the past and present. It sucks that they lost a couple of there guilds, first to us in the past and then some more later on.

Is the DH guild GoF a pretty big wvw guild? Our 10man group with pugs kept getting stomped by a 40-50 man zerg which seemed to consist of a high density of GoF players. It was a lot of fun! We had lots of back and forth between Klovan and Quent.

Yes GoF is a huge guild. I think they had about..40 or so members in our public mumble doing WvW the other day. That’s just what I seen too, I know there was more. lol
