I xfered to Vabbi from darkhaven last week but unfortunatly I can’t play for a couple weeks since i’m out at sea. ;.;

Well it was a fun night for the night team of Vabbi. we got up to +320 at one point.. (awesome for us so don’t hate) lol

phew. 3 of us trying to defend vabbi BL right now against BT. fun but tireing. lol

I tried to put people in as I seen them in the game. It’s been quiet some time since i’ve played against GoM though and since i was deployed after finishing chapter 2 i forgot even more. I’m currently working on chapter 3.

Defending the south towers are always amazingly fun. The farthest point away from reinforcements and closest for the enemy. Gets pretty intense. lol

Hey everyone. I will be moving to Vabbi after this current matchup and will be starting a guild there. I am looking for any and all like minded WORLD VS WORLD players.

I enjoy being the underdog and would love to have others that are willing to keep fighting even when being destroyed.

I think if we can get some more players to Vabbi from the super high tiered servers on NA and EU then we can even out the lower tiers from being blow outs. Maybe not a lot but atleast by some. Make it more interesting.

I will be focusing on nothing BUT WvW most of the time as i love it and would like to have like minded players.

I understand Vabbi is a super under populated server and can barely compete in WvW. But that is the exact reason I am going there. I love playing outmanned and would love to have players join me that could make a big difference for a server that really needs it.

“What… What happened?” I asked as I looked around. How did I get out here? “Here they come!” yelled Togo who put my men into defensive formation. As the invaders advanced horns began to blare from the northwest. “They’ve come…” I said as I fell to the ground. Completely drained of power.

At the sound of the horns the enemy in the tower fell back to their lines. As I lay there I could faintly make out more horns, coming from the east though. So they have all come… Thank you all. We are saved. I closed my eyes and cried. But this time, it was with a smile. I could hear my men laughing and hugging one another. The day was over, we had lost many. But we held.

I opened the door to the next chamber and stepped through. There was so few of us… fourteen total men left, including some from Togo’s squad. I looked at my men who were dog tired and bleeding, I looked out the little window at the sky that was now a dark red color; the color of blood. Had we been abandoned? Why has help not arrived yet? I asked these questions as I looked back at the door. It was about to fall and so to was this tower. Was this really how Ace Company would meet its end? “No.” I said loudly. Everyone in the room turned to look at me. All movement stopped. “Sir?” said Chogan. “Back away from the door… Let them in.” I said with venom in my voice. If they wanted this tower then I would make them pay dearly for it.

I reached into my pouch and pulled out a book. On the cover it simply read, Tome of Wrath. I flipped open the first page and power filled my body. My eyes took on a fiery blue color. Every step I took blue fire shot out. “When this door goes down, stay behind me. Kill the ones I miss. Understand?!” I shouted the last words so everyone would know that I was serious. “Sir!” came the reply. “Good…” I whispered. The door was on its hinges now and about to fall. One more hit and I will send these kittens back to where they came from.

Boom! The door shook, held for a moment, then dropped. The invaders rushed in and stopped at the sight before them. “Feel my wrath!” I screamed as I unleashed the blue fire of Balthazar. The hall filled with burnt flesh as the charred invaders collapsed to the ground. Some still screaming, others didn’t have a chance to blink. From outside I could hear confused voices, so I stepped out to muffle those confused souls. “Feel my wrath!” I screamed once again and filled the courtyard with blue fire. Dozens of the unsuspecting people burnt to death as I walked past them, unfazed and uncaring. They had brought this upon themselves.

Behind me the others were doing the human thing and killing those that were still alive but burning. I could sense the sorrow emanating from them. I looked over and seen about a dozen invaders standing there, trembling with fear as they took in the scene. Who could blame them? “S-stop. We s-surrender.” said one of them as they dropped their swords. “No… Die…” I said without emotion. I raised my hand and burned them alive. “Acium!” said a voice behind me. I didn’t care who it was. I would kill them all, they all needed to die. More enemies poured in through the back wall. I lifted my hand to cast again but the power of the Tome escaped me. The book dropped and I fell to one knee.

I awoke in a cold sweat. My body was numb and there was no one in the room. It freezing in the room yet my body felt warm and feverish. “What’s happened?” I whispered out to the open room. My voice was hoarse and my throat was dry. Where is she? I was hoping she would be here. At that the door opened and someone shuffled in threw the darkness. “Oh Acium…” said that beautiful voice. Her hand reached out and touched my head. Her hand was cool to the touch and sent a shiver down my body. “I’m…fine…” I croaked out through that raspy voice. “Oh you’re awake?!” she stammered as she withdrew her hand quickly. “What’s…happening?” I asked as I heard screaming and clashing of steal on steal outside. “Once the wall shattered the men on the walls rushed back to the lord room and barricaded it. Right now were inside your chambers while they’re outside holding them off.” She said her hand found mine. I looked up and managed a small smile as I said “Thanks for coming to get me. You know this makes you my hero right?” She blushed but squeezed my hand tightly. “So I’m the knight in shining armor here? This seems to be backwards huh?” she said with a light giggle.

“Hold them off!” yelled a voice from the other side of the door just before it opened up. It was Togo and his armor was stained red with blood. He had a cut down his right cheek that was lightly bandaged. “How is he doing Milan?” he asked as he came over to stand next to her. “I’m fine Togo, how are things out there?” I asked as I sat up. “Oh thank the gods your alright. I haven’t had much of a chance to give you these since they brought you back in but here. Take these. I found them on my way here.” He said as he reached into his pocket. “Om nom berries?” I asked with a smile “Where did you find those?” “Down by the Quaggon Lake. It’s how we got in. Here eat one; you should feel good in about 5 minutes, if not instantly.” He said as he plopped it into my mouth.

I chewed the berry and instantly felt a strange surge of power rush threw my body. I felt the cuts on my face heal the bones in my back and my ribs shift back into place, the swelling on my head shrink, yet in all of that, there was no pain. I stood up and grabbed my sword. “There breaking through!” yelled Chogan from the other side of the door. Boom! Came a loud blast from the Lords Hallway. “Nice one Byren shoot it again!” yelled a voice. Boom! He fired again. “That bought us a bit of time. Good job Byren.” said Chogan with a hearty laugh. “Of course it’s a good job. We Asurans’ are the most intellectually advanced species on this planet. If I can’t rig up a homemade tableware-throwing-doohickey then I’m no good as an inventor!” said Byren with an obvious air of triumph.

“Acium!” said a muffled voice from somewhere up ahead. It was a sweet voice, almost like honey. “Acium, you’re ok now. Here hold on to me.” said the beautiful voice. It was so familiar but where have I heard it before. “Get them!” said a voice from somewhere to my left. The sounds of boots hitting ground came into focus. Were we being chased? “What…happened…?” I croaked out. My throat throbbed with pain as hot liquid filled it. “Kitten Milan, drop him we have to hold them off! We can’t outrun them!” said another familiar voice from the other side of me. “Acium, I’m going to sit you down. Don’t worry I won’t be too far ok? I’ll be right here.” Said Milan

In a flurry of movement and voices I could hear them fighting. Spells being cast and confused soldiers voices as they struck a target to watch it disappear and then reappear on the other side of them. Then came the sound of lightning and soldiers screaming as they fried under the volley. “Which one is the real one kitten it!” said one of the angry soldiers. “If you can’t find her help me kill this one!” came another who right afterwards was sent flying backwards into the wall, shattering his spine instantly.

My vision and hearing had started to come back to me during the fight. I could make out Milan, a girl who was extremely special to me, and her best friend Rhaina fighting side by side as they tore into the enemy’s ranks. They had trained day and night fighting as one and now that training was paying off. Milan swung her sword in a semi circle in front of her, causing a purple blast that sent the enemy flying backwards. Rhaina jumped back and ‘Rode the Lightning’ directly into the downed enemies. Sending move them backwards with fried armor. Two invaders however evaded to the side and came up with their swords ready for the kill. But they were to slow. Milan had two clones popped up and ready for them. Her clones latched on to the backs and exploded, sending the two straight into the dirt with holes in their back with blood flooding out.

“Thanks Milan!” yelled Rhaina who had taken his eyes off of the enemy in front of him to look back. “You fool! Look out!” I screamed as I jumped up and teleported straight in front of him. I got slammed with a giant hammer by a Norn. I flew back into the wall, hitting my head on the wall and lay still. Darkness enveloped my consciousness. “Rhaina were getting out of here! Come here, now!” screamed Milan as she grabbed me I felt a strange surge just before everything went dark.

The day was a fury of movement. We all knew that we didn’t have the long range siege to stop there Trebuchets from hitting our walls and that they would eventually fall. So we decided to fortify in the courtyard of the small tower instead. I had my Engineers build small cannons up on top of the supply shack; I had my Rangers and Scouts setting up traps all over the yard while the Elementalists dug trenches with their earth magic.

The rest of us built make-shift ballistae at the base of the stairs aiming towards the gate and the wall that was being hit. We would hold them for a bit if they tried to rush through. “This would be Ace Companies last stand if help didn’t arrive.” I thought to myself as I looked around at my men. Once fifty strong, we now only had twenty-four men. Adding in the ten Togo brought with him it put us at thirty-four. Thirty-four men against roughly a thousand or so. Today was going to be horrible for my men.

Wham! A loud thudding noise filled the air. As I looked around I watched as one of Togo’s scouts fell from the wall with an arrow between his eyes. As he hit the ground the impact sent the arrow all the way threw, tearing its way through his brain and out the other side. “Incoming!” screamed Byren, an Asuran who had helped in defending the Eles while I was out scouting. Not two seconds later the tower heaved under the pressure of the Trebuchets assault. The ground seamed to curl under my feet as I tried to run to the stairs and make my way up to the battlements.

I was almost there when I heard extra ‘thumping’ at the back wall. “What’s going on?” I whispered to myself as I made my way up the stairs and looked over the back wall. What I seen made my heart stop. There were explosives set on the small unfortified back wall of the tower that was about to explode. “Get down!!!” I screamed at my men who turned and looked at me with a questionable look. Boom! The tower shook and the wall shattered. I flew back and over the wall, landing down in the little creek that ran next to Blue Briar.

I woke with a jolt and looked around quickly. I grabbed my chest as it throbbed in pain. My ears were also ringing. “What happened?” I managed to croak out through the pain. “I have been trying to wake you for about 2 hours now Acium but you just would not wake up… So, I kind of punched you in the chest.” said Chogan with an apologetic look on his face. “Ugh… I had a horrible dream…” I said as I looked up on the battlements. That dream was so real though. “Sorry I made him wake you up in such a fashion Acium but you were really crying in your sleep.” Said a familiar voice from somewhere behind me. “Could it actually be him?” I thought to myself as I turned to look. “Did you find out you’re a daddy or something?! Who is she?” said the voice in the dark.

As my eyes adjusted to the darkness I was finally able to make out who the voice was. It was Togo, one of my better friends in the Darkhaven military. He leads a small elite group of soldiers who call themselves The Perfect Dark, or just PD for short. They specialize in the ‘secret missions’ side of the military. So in other words; I have no idea what they do. “Togo? What are you doing here? How did you even manage to get past all of those soldiers outside?” I asked. My face was definitely as dumbfounded as it probably should look right now.

He just looked at me and smiled. “Oh come on Acium. It’s not that hard to sneak 10 people into a tower at night while the enemy guards outside were tranquillized in the back, multiple times mind you. So yes, we basically just ninja’d our way in.” said Togo who took a deep breath after explaining all that. “Wow… You should talk slower Togo. Next time make it short and sweet.” I said with a half smile on my face. I was so relieved to have PD with us in this fight. Their expertise will come in handy if were to hold this tower.

As the night went on Togo filled me in on events that were happening all over the Borderlands. Victors Lodge had been destroyed. That of course we knew. Bluevale had been assaulted but had been forewarned and was able to muster a small militia to hold them back till help arrived. “Good job Elenteal.” I thought to myself. “So what about Redlake? Has it been attacked any?” I asked. “No, but there was a report of a women in red armor roaming the area. We don’t know if it’s related or not but were keeping a close watch. I can also say that Bllade took his battalion to Redlake in preparation of hitting these ‘Madness’ soldiers in the right flank. I also have a report from the Garrison that Neural and his battalion has linked up with Wulf and are making preparations on moving south soon. They will be here to help us by evening Acium.” Said Togo who had pulled out a map and started placing points on it. “As of right now we are the first line of defense and need to hold till evening when help arrives. So I suggest we prepare for what’s to come. Don’t you?” he asked with a broad smile. “Of course. Let’s get this started then shall we?” I said as we clasped hands and shook briefly

Day 2: Blood Colored Sky

The night went by quickly it seemed. We watched as the camp fires slowly died out as they turned in for the night. It had only been a few hours after sunset so it was maybe 9pm. “They’re like children. Early to bed and early to rise.” said Chogan who had joined me on the battlements overlooking the invaders campsite. “Early to rise is the key point Chogan. They don’t plan on waiting for sunrise so you should probably go get some rest while you can.” I said as I looked over and smiled half heartedly. Sleep… I never would have imagined that something so simple to do would be so hard to achieve. He grunted in reply and was just turning to leave when movement, just at the edge of the darkness, caught his eye. He starred for a moment as his mind registered two things. One, there was a shape of a man standing there, and two, he was holding a bow with an arrow aimed directly at his commander.

As his eyes widened and his heart stopped, he watched as the arrow flitted across the open field, over the battlements, and embed its self in Acium’s chest. He was helpless as he watched him fall to the ground in a lifeless heap. He just looked on in disbelief at the arrow that was now buried inside his leader’s chest. How? How could this happen? He had to move. He had to go to him and see if he was ok. “Move kitten it!” he thought to himself.

As he walked towards Acium’s now lifekitten dy he started having flashbacks of the first time meeting the young man; how he was so full of life and laughter. How he made every day at this guard station bearable. All the jokes that were made. All the training that was done. But above all else he remembered the look of the young man’s face just the day before. The strong and determined look of a proud soldier that would never give up.

“No… You can’t be gone.” Said Chogan through a tear streaked face as he collapsed to his knees and grabbed the arrow. “You can’t leave us here alone! You promised us…” he screamed through a hoarse voice as he yanked the arrow out and began shaking the lifekitten dy. “Don’t leave us…” whispered the big man as he collapsed on top of the body and cried. He cried for the young commander. “He was so young and full of promise. He didn’t deserve this!” he screamed as he cried into the lifekitten dy. “Dwayna please… Take me instead…” he whispered in a sad voice. “Acium… You deserved better…” he said as he raised his head to look into the lifeless eyes of his beloved Commander.

“Acium! We need to get out of here!” yelled Chogan who was now standing beside me and pointing to the south. Hundreds of people in dark blue armor were standing there. Watching us. Have they been there the whole time? Why didn’t they join in to help them? Regardless of that answer we needed to get out of here, now. “Make for the tower! Quickly!” I ordered my men. As I took a step towards the tower I stopped and looked back at my fallen men. I wouldn’t make it very far if I attempted to carry them and they charged me. “I’ll be back for you when I can. I promise.” I said under my breath as I turned and ran.

As we made it back to the tower I looked up and the sun was behind the mountains in the west now. It was getting dark and no help has showed yet. Though now as I look out I see hundreds upon hundreds of camp fires to the south. If help didn’t arrive, we wouldn’t be able to hold for long. If Elenteal had been killed on his journey to the Bay then we was already dead. But, we would hold as long as possible. “Sir is Wulf coming with reinforcements?” asked Chogan. As he asked I noticed every soldier looking my way and expecting a hopeful answer, one that I couldn’t give with any certainty. “Wulf will be here for us. But for now, we hold. It seems like day one of this war has ended and we have lost many friends. Tonight we rest; I’ll rotate in with the watches as well. You guys did well today. Better than any commander could ever hope for. I will need you guys to the end. Your strength is my strength and if you fall, so to shall I, and with us this tower. Now I’m going to tell you, I will not let this tower fall without a fight. Are you with me?” I said, probably more hopeful than I should have. No smart man would stand their ground with so few, but here I was asking these men, who have fought hard today, to do just that. “Sir. We are with you to the end.” said Chogan with a ferocious smile on his face that was mirrored to all standing here now.

After looking them all in the eyes and seeing that my determination inside each and every one of them I smiled. Not a grim smile but for the first time today a truly happy smile. “Then tomorrow we fight. To the last man, to the last stone, to the top step of this tower we fight! We will hold on to Blue Briar with the ferocity of a Dragon, and when they speak of us they will know that so few stood their ground against an army of thousands!” I yelled as I unsheathed my sword which was mirrored by the others. I hold mine out in front of me and begin to talk again. “On this day brothers we fought well. Tomorrow we will see this enemy face to face, sword to sword, and we will show them that Darkhaven will not falter in the face of thousands. I will be there with you my brothers and sisters; I will bleed with you and for you. Know that tomorrow when hell breaks loose, I will be right next to you. Now, get some rest. I’ll take first watch.”

As I recovered from putting more force behind that strike then I intended too, I looked at the two assailants. One lay dead with and arm twisted violently to the side, while the other struggled back to her feet. “You’re pretty strong to survive that.” I said as I switched back to my single handed sword and focus and smiled at her. She looked up at me and just stared. She radiated pure hatred as we looked into each other’s eyes. “You’re pretty kitteny if you think that an attack as…weak as that would have killed me” she said as she struggled to stand. As she straightened and pointed her sword in my direction she coughed up blood, again falling to her knees.

I stared at her, wondering why they had come here. I had almost thought to ask but decided asking an enemy why they attacked us would be a dumb question. So instead, I decided to end this. I planted my left foot forward and leaned heavily on my right foot, bending it slightly, as I brought my sword up level to my mouth and pointed it directly at her. What I was about to do would drain me of energy but I had to end this fight now and get back to the tower.

She took a step forward, then another, and another. I leaned back, and teleported right into her with my sword embedded in her chest. Her eyes widened as she looked at my face, they began to glaze over as she whispered three words to me that sent a shiver down my spine “Just the beginning.” I stared, my body filling with sadness and regret, as her lifekitten dy fell to the ground. But above those feelings came another, stronger, feeling: Fear.

“Ah!” screamed another enemy from behind as he fell to the ground with a huge hole in his chest. “That was Chogan’s last enemy it looked like” I thought as I watched him run across to help the other two fight the last remaining invaders. They don’t need my help at the moment. Besides, Chogan will end this.

I sat down, next to the women’s lifekitten dy, her eyes were still open. I reached over and closed them; she had seen enough blood for a day. I looked around at my fallen men, men that I have served in that tower with for awhile now. If this was just a taste of what was to come I wanted no part in it… Yet, I knew that I would have to be there. Not only just for my men, but for my country, my friends, and family. Victors Lodge will be the last town that is destroyed liked this. I will NOT let them pass Blue Briar.

As I turned to look at my men I noticed ten soldiers behind us. Where had they come from? “Behind us!” I yelled as I unsheathed my sword. The men in the back turned quickly to meet the enemy who, out of nowhere, vanished. “Sir I know this spell, it’s called Shadow Refuge. They are still he…” he fell silent as an arrow lodged its self in his chest and he fell backwards, instantly the enemy reappeared all around us. I lunged at one of the enemies, a huge Norn with a giant sword that sounded like a chainsaw. I fought with all my strength against this giant of a man. His swings were powerful but wild, there was no method to his swing and he was already breathing hard. I parried a downward thrust and let it slip off my weapon and into the dirt to where it jabbed deep into it.

I then jumped up and kneed this warrior in the face, knocking him backwards. Now was my chance! I leaped forward and caught him in the side with a swing of my sword. As he dropped to one knee I swung around with my blade and rounded up behind him, I brought the sword down and cut his head clean off. My foe had fallen, now for the others.

I look up and noticed two of my men dead, one bleeding heavily but still fighting, and the other three fighting on. As for the enemy, only one of them lay dead and that was my opponent. “These guys were strong” I thought as I ran to help my bleeding ally. I got to his side just as one of his opponents came up from behind him. I pulled out my Focus and sent a blast of light at the enemy and knocked him back, sending him rolling to the side. I then jumped in front of the next and parried his blade to the side and jabbed my left fist into his stomach and sent another blast straight into him at point blank range. He flew backwards and landed on his neck. A loud crack filled the air and he lay still. The other assailant had gotten back up and was almost on me before I realized it; luckily my ally had jumped in and had pierced the enemy in the back. His blade went clean threw to the other side. “Thanks for the help Commander. Now…I think I’ll just… Sit down for a minute…” he said as he dropped to one knee and fell face first into the dirt. He was breathing and would survive.

I turned my attention elsewhere. Chogan, a stocky man was fighting off two enemies at once and doing well. “He doesn’t need me.” I thought. I looked at the other two who had paired up and were now fighting against five opponents. “That’s where I’m needed.” I thought as I ran towards them. Instantly two peeled off and ran at me and all I could think was “Bring it on.” as I switched to my great sword. I picked up speed and swung my sword in a half circle as I slid in the dirt trying to stop myself. My sword glowed and flung out two spectral swords that embedded themselves into the two oncoming enemies. They stopped in shock and wondered why there wasn’t any pain – at least that was the look they had. I smiled crookedly at their faces and jabbed my sword into the air. Instantly their bodies were flung my direction, landing hard in the dirt at my feet. I brought my sword down with such force that the air its self split. Boom! My sword struck the ground between the two and exploded with power that flung their bodies violently to each side.

“Alright listen up! I want my LTs in the Lords Room for a briefing right now! Everyone else keep a loo…” I had been screaming at my men when silence fell over the valley. The Gate had stopped. Was it time already? This is too soon… “INCOMING!!!” yelled a guardsman. I looked south to see a hail of boulders being hurled at us… Dear Gods there’s so many… “Take cover!!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. Boom! One after another they struck the small fortified tower. It felt like the earth its self was trying to flee from this assault. The ground heaved and the walls shook. My men on the walls were sent flying backwards as boulders struck and exploded. Think Acium…think, I need to think… “Got it! Elementalists on me!” I yelled as I ran up to the top of the walls. Looking back, I couldn’t help but smile as four men ran behind me with grim looks on their faces. They were scared, just like me. But also like me, they were dead set on defending this tower.

As we reached the spot where the boulders were hitting I scanned for more incoming. None yet, good. “Alright listen up; when the boulders are coming down on us I want you to use your magic to deflect them. I’m not a magician so I don’t know what you would use for that but I trust you to find out what to do. Got it?” I looked each of them in the eye as I told them what to do. They would get the job done, that I was certain of. “Sir, look out!” yelled one of them as he jumped into me, knocking me down. Instantly he held up his two daggers and flung waves of fire at the arrows, incinerating them on the spot. “Whoa… Thanks Yung.” We shared a brief smile as another stepped up and pointed with his staff. “Here they come sir… Don’t worry, command the others. We will be here.” He smiled at me, as did the others. “I know you will.” I stood up and smiled as well. I couldn’t be blessed with better soldiers I thought as I ran back to the guard shack at the bottom of the tower.

I looked at my remaining men, so few had survived, I started with 50 and now I only have 24 men left. 26 men dead on the first barrage, such a deadly enemy. “Alright listen up; I want the Rangers on the walls covering the Eles. Engineers I want those cannons operational and if you can, set up some mortar sites and man them. The rest of you come with me. Were going on a scouting party.” As I told my men what to do they began to shuffle around. All that was left for me was six people. Let’s hope we don’t get ambushed out there.

As we stepped outside the towers I felt my body tense and my senses heighten. I gripped my sword as I took off towards the small lodging area in the far south, Victors Lodge. As we rounded the cliff and found ourselves at the edge of the river I noticed that all the Skelk in the area had disappeared. Even the great Wurg that roamed this side of the mountain had vanished. This was already turning out to be bad.

I halted my men on the sand bar next to the river, Victors Lodge was on fire. As we look on at the fire I notice the bodies of its residents strewn about on the other side of the river. LANDS OF CHAOS

It has been 21 days since the Gates of Madness opened and its soldiers spilled onto our lands. 21 days since the Henge of Denravi Kingdom unleashed its warriors upon us. 21 days since our soldiers have fought and died for their friends, families, homes, and country. This month long war has been harsh, unforgiving, and yet even in this chaos I have come to respect our foes and I have learned some valuable strategies from them.

My name is Acium and I will tell you the tale of this 21 day war, but first I wish to tell you a little about myself. I started as a frontline soldier for my country and have worked hard to gain the trust and loyalty of the people I now command on the battlefield. I have made many friends along the way, and have even met some people that are quite special to me. I have my brother and my cousin who have fought beside me. My friends Bllade, Prosecute, Lycia, Milan, Rhaina, and many, many more that I see out there every day giving their lives for Darkhaven. Also to my friends who have left Darkhaven to start anew in a different land. You helped me more then you know. If not for you I do not believe I would be where I am today without you. Even though you left us here you are still my friends and I hope to see you again. Now that I have shared a little about myself I will now share our story.

Day 1: The Opening of the Gate

As I made my rounds of the tower to check the upkeep of the siege, the moral of the guards, and to, in all honesty, stretch my legs, it dawned on me that, if I was to be honest, this tower duty was really boring. It has been months since our last enemy sighting to the south where the great Gate of Madness lies. The gate has not been open since I have been stationed here in Blue Briar but, of course, you get one report of an ‘unusual’ looking man and your put on full alert. Staying on full alert for four months can break a man, make them paranoid at any sound and can make you see things that aren’t there.

As I made it to the top of the gate the wind started to pick up and the sky started to darken. It was unusual for this time of year, especially from the direction it was coming from. “Sir? What’s going on?” said a startled voice from behind. “I’m not sure Elenteal. But I don’t like it. Go rouse all the guards. Man the siege.”I said in a gruff voice. Something wasn’t right about this wind. It wasn’t just cold, it was ominous. Like it was pulling at your insides and making you want to go in the other direction. In the back of the tower the Dolyaks began to misbehave in there stables. Something definitely wasn’t right. “Chogan go calm the Doly…” I was cut off when a high pitched creek filled the air followed by a loud boom. “Sir… The gate, i-its opening…” said a scared guardsman.

As we sat there watching this Gate that had lied dormant for years began to move. “Elenteal! Get over here!” I yelled over the loud cracking of the Gate. “Sir?!” said Elenteal as he came running up. I wasn’t taking any chances in this. If what I feared was about to happen then I wanted High Command to know about it. “Run to Dreaming Bay! Let them know what’s coming!” I yelled as loud as I could above this noise. “But sir! What’s happening!?” he said with an obvious scared voice. “Their coming Elenteal… and were going to need everything to stop them…” I said it so quietly that even I couldn’t hear it. But thankfully Elenteal could read lips and instantly knew what he had to do. He jumped over the side of the wall and ran to Bluevale Refuge to warn them of the coming danger, and from there he would head to Dreaming Bay to let Wulf know of the coming danger. We would need him for this if we are to hold. Even though I sent him it would still take them an hour or so to muster everyone for a proper defense force.

Hey everyone. About 9ish months ago I started writing a story about the Darkhaven/Henge of Denravi/Gate of Madness matchup. I posted chapters 1 and 2 on the forums but got deployed and was unable to finish them but have recently started on them again.

I was wondering if anyone out there was still interested in the stories and if so I would be more then willing to post chapters 1 and 2 again for everyone to read.

Now keep in mind, I am in no way a professional writer. I like writing short stories and have never attempted anything of this size and would very much like some opinions on it to help me out. ^.^ Also, if you would like to be added in (doesn’t matter if your on one of the servers or not) then please say so and i’ll add you in.

Im surprised to see a member of Abyss saying we usually have strong resets because we havent had one in weeks. it is paramount that Dark Haven resolves that issue pronto, because if we were up a tier we would have never recovered from an early deficit like that.

the one thing i think this weeks match has done is taught people that a zerg ball isnt always the best method. ive seen lots of smaller roving groups and its done wonders for our all around coverage.

Now we just need to teach our guys not to break from a group to chase a guy half way across the zone and we will be ready to rock. lol

Anywho…still an amazing match. cant wait for more!

And for the group of 3-6 of… guys that kept jumping from the spawn to fight us at the camp…great fun!

To quote on of our commanders, ‘Remember, Dark Haven rarely splits their zerg’ Which is what us on IoJ have noticed, you guys will hit 1 objective in force, allowing us to try and ninja camps/towers/keeps back

Great example is that, In Eternal Battlegrounds, we were trebbing our keep from Langor, had both outer and inner walls down and most of our forces sitting in the tower and what does all of dh do? Slowly stream past Langor and walk into Danelon leaving us to retake our keep with little to no defense… Was a good laugh for us. Your server definitely has the zerg mentality, one IoJ has started to realise we cannot compete with head on, it is definitely making us rethink our strategies against you

That’s not entirely true. I split my zerg all the time.. Though i’ve also been a commander for a long time. Though I have also been gone for a couple months and have only just came back for this matchup.

DHs tower ninja at her finest. As soon as IOJ broke through she hid while we all suicided into them. ^.^ capped it in less then 6mins.. (buff)

Been a good day so far! I’ve been the darkhaven commander in SF BL ever since we took the SW tower bay at about 2pmish.

We hit SE tower, got wiped and retreated to SW tower, we wiped SF and then eventually got rolled. But we have kept bay since. We are still in the middle of fighting over your territory.

Anyone had terrible lag on DH Borderland yesterday? Any leap ability from my enemy, I would lose track of them because they would warp randomly.

Also, with the lag I’m really unsure of this. But I fought a ranger from BURN that kept warping around. I had my slick shoes on, and I can outrun mostly anybody when activating it, as it double my combat speed. But this ranger kept warping away. At first I thought it was lag, but then when he began to outran me it wasn’t normal. A ranger with a shortbow have no way to outrun me when I have me slick shoes toolbelt activated. I finaly got him, but kitten was that not a normal looking ranger.

It’s hardly any accusation, as I was having some surprise lag this night. But It was also really weird.

There was 4 of us yesterday in AR BL running around capping camps (before the rest of us showed up). We ran into the SOS guild at the NW tower who ran straight inside instead of fighting us… ;.;

So… Does AR and BP fight eachother? All the map Screenies I’ve seen so far has nothing going on in either of there BLs.. it’s all in ours. lol

DH, i dont know how you do it but its funny how your AC from the breakout event can hit our inner cata by the supply hut. I’ve took a screenshot and sent it to the devs for evaluation

In regards to this, since you can see over the gate you can aim it inside. Just like with the ele scepter you can use that fire tooth ability thingy on inside catas.

Its the same as being able to hit through the gates with the cata, guardian staff, etc etc. just the way it is I guess.
