To all the Darkhaven people that think we are being double teamed I am here to say that YES you are correct. We are being double teamed. But thats tactics 101.

2nd and 3rd jump 1st so the score doesn’t spread to far apart. It’s common since so i’m going to give props to DB and NSP for doing this and makeing it extremelly interesting.

I played alot over the weekend but during the week I work shifts of up to 19 hours long most days and get a day off here and there. I also work weekends sometimes so thanks again for the fun weekend.

Man, redbriar was a hotbed this morning in DH BL

I was the only commander on at the time and musterd as many people as i could to help defend it against Dragonbrand.

We defended it successfully and then outa knowhere NSP comes knockin with 2 catas and some rams. we held it for another 30 or so mins then had to retreat. At about that time more people from another Borderlands came over to help.

Was epic fun. At around that time the massive 60 man DH zerg started and we started hopping BLs, eventually going to EBG and taking SM. Was a fun morning.

And they all followed me cause i promised them horsies and ponies… silly lil zerglings. ^.^ broodmother loves you all.

As i’m reading i see so much hate from mag and CD directed at us… lol you guys need to lighten up and just play WvW. We attack who we feel like attacking at that time. We already lost and we know it so were just having fun.

So just chill and deal with whatever we throw at you instead of coming to the forums and blowing up about it. kthx

So I was reading that a guild left Darkhaven? Who is the bandwagon jumper this week? Just curious!

And I like Ethersin a lot, a very enjoyable commander to be under. I also enjoy Rethesis, they seem to know how to get stuff together and take things! (Well, the few golem crashed I have been to were cool.)

So what guild left this time? Was it one who joined us last week because we were winning? Or was it one who joined the week before last because we were winning?

Sorry it is hard to keep track of all the guilds who come and go so often…

There’s a rumor and nothing more. People causing drama.

It’s not a rumor, alot of HVN and Icoa left darkhaven, HVN mostley went to Sorrows Furnace and Icoa went to Blackgate. They tried recruiting me to go there today.. lol

Just some highlights of This morning and yesterday evening. ^.^

Just to let you all know… During the morning time and to about 3pm it is usually only me, prosecute, and shineberry as commanders in any of the maps for DH. I haven’t seen many other DH commanders lately but that will not stop us from trying to capture our BL from the iron grip of FA zerglings!

Been fun all around. ^.^

merge all maps and make them alittle bit bigger. Make Eternal as the center peice and to gain access into the borderlands you have to fight your way threw the eternal part. ^.^

Also, you guys do know you can transmute armour and what not right??

As far as i’m concerned I will earn my invader armour threw the badge system and not use the PvE supplements. More of an achievement imo.

[WE] held on to that tower in FA BL for awhile tonight was some fun stuff.

3 trebs, like 6 ballistas, 2 arrow carts were harmed in the making of that FA tower. lol

Was some fun stuff. we moved to HoD BL and set up shop at Redvale Workshop. Come get us!

Had some fun fighting that D/D ele! that person is a beast. lol

Well I had fun this morning. If possible could we keep the spawn camping to a minimum atleast? lol all good though! I love being the underdog! makes for some fun play and funny moments when were like “yes we capped a tower” then there mood goes to holy “holy crap! here comes FA ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuun.” lol and my personal favorite “huh…. where did all these red names come from?? :o”

To add on to that acknowledgement Wintuo, I see RE out in WvW all the time doing what they can when they can. So I believe I speak for everyone when I say thanks for helping this server.

Also to all the other guilds that would take me forever to mention THANK YOU aswell for your help and support for the Darkhaven WvW warmachine.

In my honest opinion i’d have to say the best choices would have to either be Darkhaven, Maguuma, Crystal Desert, Yaks Bend, or Tarnished Coast.

From my understanding all of these servers could use some more coverege between 12-4pm est which is, in fact, Darkhavens morning since its a PST server. We sould love to have you here to help our morning crew come together. Our evening and late night crews are good.

Give us a chance to make you feel at home, come check us out at prime time, and if you like it then you can stay and we would be more then happy to have you. If not then check out one of the servers i listed above.

^ Exactly right. Since I haven’t been able to play for the past couple weeks cause im out at sea running drills (pulling back into port today…but I have duty so i can’t play again till tomorrow) but I can say that when I have lead I have noticed the attention span. I tested it out by saying “Everyone rally at spawn point for a concentrated push.” waited for 5 minutes max. about 15 people showed up at the start then as time went by it dropped to about 6 people with me. lol After that initial test we went out and people started gathering around us without even saying anything in /team chat.

Im usually a morning commander so when I lead its generally in /say chat cause its easier for the people around me to see it and read it since most dont really use the chat pannel at the bottom left when playing. I also usually /whisper people with certain tasks i want done before we seige a keep or tower, or i’ll say someones name to single them out for a specific job. Making people feel like there needed also helps a ton when waging war.

IMO atleast.

As a commander I can honestly say that explaining why you are attacking a tower is the last thing your thinking about when your being hammerd. If you have time to do it then thats great but you don’t always have that luxory. It’s mostly react and do it quickly to gain points or keep your side from loosing points type of thing.

Aurum, I think the best way to learn is to play in WvW. It’s pretty self explanatory.

Build seige to take objectives, take supply camps to get supplies to towers, keeps, and castle. Resupply at supply camps so you can build more seige. Defend your bases from enemy attacks, call out in /team chat enemy locations, number of enemies, and if they drop seige on the spot your defending or not.

It’s all pretty simple you just need to get out there and experience it! Also if your looking to xfer to another server come on over to Darkhaven. I’d be happy to show you around WvW in a couple days.

Let me start off by saying this… Darkhaven is in desperate need of morning guilds. Specifically from 6am – 12pm PST. I do not know the GMT for that so if someone could help me out below that would be awesome.

As it stands Darkhaven has a good evening crew and night crew. Though even at primetime, unless its restart, there is usally only a que for our own BL and maybe EBG.

As you can probably see i’m not extremely good at making recruitment threads so in short, we absolutly NEED more EU/Oceanic guilds.

I do not believe we are referring to the mesmers who walked up to the top of the keep in order to portal your guys in or anyone who benefitted from the mesmer portals. We are referring to some random guardian/warrior guy who was obviously speedhacking through the castle in front of everyone.

I have never heard of that guild till this screen shot… :\ and i’v been on darkhaven since it was released.

I honestly think all the accusations and assumptions should just stop. Screen it, Report it, Repeat it. Thats the best you can do for right now.

There is no need to come on to the public forums with your complaints that, most likely, the individual will not read, let alone care.

Lets post war stories, fun battles, points updates, map updates, life stories, naked pictu…err to far.

Most of the people on darkhaven don’t mind any of these “cheesy” tactics… It’s the people who can’t get coordinated or simply refuse to work with others that come on here to whine… So please do not base your theories that darkhaven is full of a bunch of uncoordinated children (not saying anyone did)on these kitten .

@Smoke what you do then is run to the top of the dome, build a BUNCH of siege up there, let them fight in the middle the hole time your raining arrows down on them. ^.^

Being DPd like that blows but it happens on all matchups all the time. Why you retreat inward, set up your seige, let them in, and have a real 3-way brawl… but now if they completely ignore eachother once inside then thats a hole new story. can’t help you there other then to say that you pissed some people off that you shouldn’t have i guess. Good luck!

@Judes: All GMs have blacker bars above there name, where it seperates there post from the person above them. It looks similar to the one down where it has the pages…. 1, 2, 3.

Plus he ment he was the guild leader of his guild… not game moderator.

If your having cata troubles on a door cause of a ram then build a cata to counteract it. I’v done it many times to where you set up a seige line and break it down that way.

Or you could simpley set up a cat or 2 and shoot over the wall and try to hit the cata to destroy it. Done this many times aswell.

There is a solution to most defenses, just have to find the weak spot…which comes with trial and error.

Not trying to flame the topic or anything but if thats the case then cannons and, especially, oil need to be way harder to destroy. Not to mention it will cost your own personal money.

Also, in my opinion, the defender should ALWAYS have the advantage. No matter what. When seigeing a tower/keep/castle it should always be harder for the attacker. But if you can just run up to the gate, drop a couple rams while your superior numbers AoE the walls and take the tower/keep/castle then it’s kinda pointless to defend it if you can’t really fight back from the walls.
