Guild Wars 2

To clarify a point here, Guild Wars 1 and Guild Wars 2 will both work on the same model. Develop high quality content, and sell it to the players. You will and have gotten small updates, new additions to content, and continual fixes to the game.

You will also see “expansions” to the game, large amount of new content, new weapons that will lead to new skill, or just flat out new skill, maybe new races, and other things that are part of the new “expansion” content.

They did this in GW1, they had a similar, smaller cash shop also. They will continue this in GW2

Colin J just posted in the last day or so that they hired on an entire team dedicated to taking care of bots and goldsellers. Named “Operation Bot Destruction”

ANet has said there is a another content patch coming in November, so we get Halloween plus regular content patched in October, then another one in November.

Also “redux” Dragon Festival in 2007, and Halloween in 2008

If I were on the East Coast, I would be more worried about getting to a safe place first.

player to player item and gold transactions are just fine. Its how my guild helps each other out with found items or favored dye color types.

There should be a filter you can enable to only allow mail from guildies/friends list people.

As a “day 1” GW 1 player, I really enjoy what they have done with GW2. As a fan, I have been following the build up of the game since they announced it. If the way they built the game is not to your liking, you should have known that a long time ago and just stayed in GW1 or moved on.

What is the point of this thread, they are not going to toss out 5+ years of development andkitten off the majority of the fan base just for you.

I am not going to disagree with you or any other reply, but if you want to be a “completionist”, doesn’t that involve completing everything possible in-game?

The official site has taken it down due to demand and they don’t want to overload the servers, they are putting new servers. In the mean time, try to find a physical copy.

I personally run the Enjin client http://www.enjin.com/client
For me works extremely well and its free. The website promotes it as publishing to your site and stuff, but all the videos and pics save to your PC and you don’t need an enjin account or anything.

I usually don’t have a problem leveling, when I see a DE start, I drop what I am doing and head over to that. I jump over to other racial areas of the same level and run the hearts and DE’s there too.

That and I always to make sure I “complete” a map that I am on, the poi’s, vistas, and other stuff.
