Not just the skyhammer exploiters, Glory became completely worthless once the Bday booster came out and was giving 1000% glory instead of the intended 100% extra glory, people were earning 30k+ glory a 5min match because of this. Say you earned 500glory on average a match you were getting 50,000glory at the end of matches and they never rolled back the people who benefited from this the first day which was stupid. So you have some people with millions of glory that benefited from this that never had that glory taken from them. SS for proof

you got your cultural armor 1st, and it was exclusive for a while and it still is to a certain degree, cause the difference between cultural and gem store is quite notorious
should there be a limit on what skins they should and shouldn’t re-use? of course!, but I think cultural armor is not hard enough to get to be so mad

up till that point I see no problem whatsoever and I don’t wanna think that the problem is that now people can get this new version with less effort… i’d understand that for Legendary skins maybe, but cultural armor is really common and easy to get, also you know who got it the “hard” way and who got it from the gemstore just by looking at the weird fire effect

Neither are hard to get, you can buy both cultural armor and Legendaries with gold, legendaries just cost a bit more, not difficult at all so your reasoning is horrible regarding cultural armor.
Anyways, if there going to do it with 1 set of cultural armor they should do it with all, Id really like the asuran heavy set on my human warrior along with a twilight lookalike for 800gems as well. The damage is already done, the fact anet is not posting in threads like this just shows that they have no intention of going back on it and this is the new direction they are going with gemstore armor, reskins of old armor.
Looks like this game is going the WoW way. Reuse old skins with slight changes, screwing over older players for slight profits, and ignoring huge issues like this on the forums that players dont like. DEVS dont even wanna post in this thread because they know its a PR disaster. Cowards Anet, cowards.
I bought mine back when 100g was a lot of kittening gold and took forever to grind. Luckily this is the only cultural armor set I have bought and I can soon expect the rest of the cultural sets on the gemstore and buy them for half the price, right anet?
It’s ridiculous for people to assume that DB and Ebay were double teaming us at the end. We lost because CD’rs would rather karma train at EB and CDBL after DB oceanic/sea zerg went to sleep, than defend and escort camps/dolyaks to upgrade WP’s like Ehmry did. CDBL only got 3 wp’s on its map once this week and thats because several players pulled 10hr shifts and that was when we closed the gap Wednesday night I believe. Our stuff was also paper most of the matchup and we have much less defenders, so of course DB would want to go for the weaker target at times, we do it as well.
I was seeing numbers that weren’t 0 or near it, is what surprised me with the regen. I’ll have to test that build myself on my last alt.
By the way, part of me wonders why EB is getting targeted constantly by DB and CD, but then I remember the golden unwritten rule of WvW…both 1st and 3rd will always aim at the 2nd place server, no questions asked. I say that since 1st place wants to keep their lead secure, and 3rd place wants to take 2nd place for themselves…which ironically leads to said server getting targeted themselves. The neverending cycle.
You guys hit CDBL at the same time as well, DB flipped our WP’d hills while we were busy defending bay from your 20 omega rush. And I’m almost sure you both had ques to get to our map at the time.
I’m from CD and have been on the green BL all 3 weeks so far this league and it has seemed like we have been outnumbered at times on defense when we have a que or are unable to get our entire team in because of a que in order to defend a keep. Not saying if this is confirmed or not but might be worth looking into.

Why must you punish everyone because of a few bad apples. If anything you should be suspending/closing the accounts of the players who harrass people because they disrupt there “champion train”. Another nerf that affects everyone because of a toxic few that you refuse to punish/deal with, thx anet…
How much are they giving, anyone know. Back when the Bday booster just came out you could get 20,000+ glory a match easily and I missed out on that. I remember some people farmed into the millions lol.
I’ve got build mastery maxed but whenever I have 15 supply or something like that it takes me 3 hits with the hammer to build it. It goes from 15sup to 5sup then to 1sup when it should finish and use all 5. Is this a problem for anyone else. It’s been like this forever as far as I know too.
Could you post the crash details if you get one when it crashes? Just paste the entire crash report details from the prompt. It’ll probably be more than a post will allow, so you attach it as a text file

I think I might bump this every time I crash trying to enter/exit a golem in wvw from now on. This is really kittening annoying since it never use to happen, you broke it with the August 6th patch.
Me and my buddies are looking for competent semi-serious players to do team tourny’s with. Our main core consists of bunkerguard/thief/engi with us looking for good players because most of the time we are pugging. We are looking for no classes specifically as we all can multi-class. We have no rep requirements regarding our guild and the core of us have been playing with each other since day 1 of this game. No practice times and no ragers, we are just looking for people who are good and can play at there own leisure, whisper me ingame if you are interested. We use Skype.
With the recent nerfs to how bosses drop silver and now karma consumables not benefiting from boosters/other things, that has severely nerfed 2 of the 4 current amulet infusions. Soon MF wont even exist so that will take out another infusion one that I use personally making 3/4 of the infusions very bad or perhaps even worthless. This wouldn’t be as big of an issue if these infusions did not cost 20 laurels to purchase but they do. Anet what are your plans regarding these infusions, I and several others are wondering if it is even worth it to purchase these as there is always the possibility of them being nerfed even further…
Is anyone else having this issue, its getting really aggravating especially since it only started happing to me on the August 6th patch… I’m a golem person, I go through dozens almost each matchup and this is really affecting my gameplay in wvw.
Ever since the August 6th content release my game has been crashing whenever I interact with golems in wvw. It doesn’t happen every time I would say about 10-20% of the time whenever I try to enter or leave a golem it will freeze and crash. I completely reinstalled the game to try to fix it but that did not work. Not sure if I am alone or if this is a known issue.
Please at least give use the option to go to the default mini maps, I really don’t like this change and neither do a lot of people I know, same goes for the wvw map changes. The fact that we can’t use addons in this game that could very easily fix stuff like this really puts everything on you arenanet and people like options, please give us the option to use the original maps when you do minor stuff like this. Why change something that isn’t broken?

How is that trolling, sounds like smart play. You had a way to counter him with the stealth traps and you and your server decided not to use them at all. I agree that thief mobility/stealth is ridiculous but thats your own fault for letting him contest your nodes like that, he simply outplayed you and 15 other people.
I was struggling to kill downed players before they could get ressed because I kept trying to right click them today, please change it back to the old system before the patch or give us an option to continue using right click targeting, it slows reaction time significantly in pvp when you have to tab target or left click then hit 1 to start autoattacking.
I’m also having this problem in regular pvp and out in the world, I cant right click any players friendly or hostile. Is there a way to fix this because it was really messing me up today. I right click to start auto attacking immediately, if I have to left click them then hit 1 to start attacking that slows down your reaction time significantly especially when your trying to kill a downed player before he gets ressed.
Please fix this or if there is a way to change it back could someone tell me.

I agree this should be fixed! the animation when you preview is a teaser and was the only reason I farmed this out, for it to act like a statue when I have it equipped is stupid and I never would have farmed it if I knew it didn’t move.
Personally, I think character swapping between matches (and even mid-game) should not be allowed. I think that, like GW1, the build you select when you go into a tPvP chain of matches should be the build you stick with until the end.
Why?
Because it forces players to make trade-offs. Each map is different, and different builds vary in strength and effectiveness on each map. By forcing players to choose a set build for all 3 maps, it makes people have to think deeper about their strategy, their composition and their individual capabilities.
It also creates greater build variety, rather than the typical roles you would see in, say, Khylo, where you usually have the same type of Guardian bunker mid. It would also prevent “cheese” builds, like a heavy multi-bunker build, which may not be as viable on the first 2 maps.
Overall, I think it will create greater depth, variety and strategy to make it so you cannot switch.
Whats wrong with that, people should be challenged to come up with different strats instead of using the same 1. On another note I personally dont think there is anything wrong with switching classes durring a tourney. Few days ago I faced a 4 guardian/1thief team on the second map and had I stayed on my warrior instead of switching to my mesmer I would have been completely useless getting knocked around and having the thief steal my bladestorm ability. Class switching is just another element in this game that both teams have access to doing, it makes the game more dynamic.
