Which server is this? It’s the same on Blackgate as well.

Is it even possible to reset a single zone because this skill point being down is effecting more than just one person.

Tried getting on my mesmer and jarring her loose with a Portal. Wonderful part is transferring on and off my server isn’t really possible considering Blackgate is full.

I’m where I got it on my 3 other characters with 100% map. And what do you mean portal through the wall. The mob is suck in the ceiling pretty sure portalling won’t effect the threat.

but the point is; I shouldn’t have to rely on a.net to reset the server at some random undisclosed time to finish my map…

Bugged in the ceiling on Blackgate server. I’m getting awfully sick of Skill Points being bugged and pointless to even waste my time with because every time I go through for map completion SOMETHING is bugged.

I absolutely love doing a mission; in this instance, The Battle for Claw Island. Something that takes about 30 minutes to do; with NO experience to be gained from your efforts, get to the end and then crash at the dialogue and the best part?

You have to do it all over again because they don’t allow your to reconnect or anything after a crash you just have to shut up and deal with it. Bravo, magnificent waste of 30 minutes.

Go with what you like the look of IMO. In the end each class has an elite that is better than the Racial Elites.

Ranger – Rampage as One
Necro – Lich/Plague
Thief – Thieves Guild/Dagger Storm
Warrior – Signet of Rage/Battle Standard

Also in sPvP Racial skills are disabled; so when picking a class just don’t worry about race, play what you enjoy since there really is no best choice.

Blackgate would be the perfect server for you guys! Blackgate is a determined WvW server currently ranked #4, which is T2.

This means you come here and you can be someone; you can help our (and possibly your server) achieve something together. We have no inherent chain of command and our commanders and guilds all work together to get things done; even the little guilds.

Our WvW crew never backs down; and we refuse to go down without a fight. A win or loss without a a few bruises to show for it doesn’t make you stronger and each week we are getting stronger by fighting tooth and nail to live up to the name Beastgate!

Our NA timeslot while it is the weakest; is improving very much and we currently only have queues for EB and Home BL on Friday/Saturday. If you want to be apart of a server that is rebuilding and trying to re-establish themselves as a dominant T1 force with guilds that respect eachother and work together, the Blackgate is open to you!

IoJ just wasn’t content being seen as a T3 server. If there is another T1 exodus expect IoJ to become SoS.

Just because there is no Holy Trinity doesn’t mean that specialized roles are useless.

As for tanking… have you ever been in Twilight Arbour Explorable? When I go in there with my Guardian I pretty much take all the attacks from the Vine and the Spider boss, and if I go down, and don’t rally quickly, there is a very real risk of a wipe that otherwise did not exist.

Also, as a Hammer/Staff Guardian using Altruistic Healing (poorly named trait, as it encourages you to be greedy with your buffs), there is a great amount of damage mitigation provided, especially when I am able to keep the attention of enemies, or body-block projectiles that are heading to my allies.

Note: my Guardian build also puts out a lot of damage, so its not like I am just a one dimensional Guardian.

And not to mention I would love explanation as to how a warrior with shouts runs in and generally always tanks if they heal. Oh yeah that’s right because there is a priority system; and support roles will always be helpful.

PRX was on EB duty this week. They did a great job but you can’t expect people to actually believe that PRX is carrying SoS. Sea of Sorrows is carrying Sea of Sorrows. Go back to Blackgate and work on your tactics.

It’s kids like this; that embody why I left Sea of Sorrows. Overzealous chest pounders; that take advantage of every waking second they can do it. If you understood anything about BG; you would realize our coverage killed us more than anything.

BG has to earn it’s reputation back. Especially considering you guys did all the exploiting and hacking BS in T1 too. Can’t blame people for thinking what they do about your server.

HB is an honest guild that doesn’t hack. If Smokee was there; you can almost guaran kitten tee that there was no fowl play involved.

Also because apparently you can’t and won’t read; as it’s been said numerous times before the server that was hacking orbs wasn’t even a BG native guild and they cease to exist on this server.

They also don’t remove orbs because ONE server hacked them; they removed orbs because Orb hacking was rampant. I’m getting sick of you smearing BGs name further already; you sound like Raven up there crying about 2v1.

It happened; it’s over with… GET OVER IT. I also follow Legendary Thor and Paopao in WvW when I zerg and I have not once seen them hack. Both are very legitimate playersl; AND both are IMO their best commanders, so ONCE AGAIN one bad apple doesn’t make a guild.

Unlike the forum criers on SoR; SBI and JQ got over it and threw us around on the battlefield instead of doing nothing about it on the forums.

In sPvP/tPvP combat Kill Shot is very ineffective unless you run with “Fear Me” in which case it requires you use a cooldown for god’s sake in order to Kill Shot effectively. While Rifle is a fun gimmick build when you want to a prick; it’s hardly the most effective build for a Warrior in WvW.

Personally I prefer to run PVT Hammer Axe/Shield builds to survive the massive zergs and distrupt; not to mention it has a higher skill cap than F1.

tl;dr Rifle is fine in every other facet of the game but WvW, and of course high burst damage is going to be strong when avoid it is pretty much impossible.

A.net can also remove the repair penalty from WvW to discourage that. People don’t want to leave due to their own selfish wants; but instead they usually Alt+f4 to avoid the incurring repair bill.

Repair in PvP is a stupid concept and it should be removed from WvW, but it won’t happen considering there is PvE in WvW.

If I’m not mistaken Tarnished Coast is also a Green Server or is Fort Aspenwood? I can’t be too sure; I’m all too focused on not throwing this week and losing all kinds of rating in WvW….

Ahh yes DiE a fair weather guild. One shotting glass players doesn’t mean anything; and WvW has certain builds that work; damage isn’t balanced around WvW.

There are already roaming 5 man groups. If you want it, you’re going to have to take the matter into your own hand and get at it. Supply camps, sentry points, dolyaks. You can do a lot with just five men, I rolled in a 5 man group and wrecked hell on the enemy supply routes. It is also pretty rewarding if you do it right.

Also you never listed your server which makes it hard to set something like that up.

My guild is designed around this; 5-10 highly skilled PvP players roaming taking camps/assassinating yaks playing quick response defense/offense.

We’re basically a special force team; we don’t run the map we cooperate within the map; small groups are very successful if you coordinate with the big group.

IDK what is with BG but we literally have no presence. I have no clue what is up with us this week, but this inconsistency needs to stop.

About the Dredge Mining Suit Legendary in the FotM Dredge zone? I don’t understand why everyone thinks it’s so difficult; stack and kite = gg seriously.

The wrong about GW2 population system is based on the number of player which are online at given time. Which mean it may be yes, it can be used as generalization which full server has more number in WvW (ps: but not always correct). (This is also the strong server become stronger and weaker server become server. This is also make transfer server is always possible to full server as long as there is time window which make those server become high populated. And this is why “balance” in WvW never be achieved as it can be easily destroyed by massive transfer (regardless pay or not pay).).

Population server should based on the number of people which are registered to that server not by the number of online player.

only problem with this analogy is BG won nothing, legends in their own minds only.

If you even read the forums during BG’s first week, then you would see why many of BG’s wvw guilds transferred off, leaving what, that’s right, a ghost town of a server. And if the guilds didn’t transfer off, they merely stopped playing to drop to tier 2 (hence why they’re holding their ground there) because of all the whine.

Sorry but majority of players like to pride in their server. If your server was being accused of hacking and everyone would just dismiss the win based on that, than what’s the point of trying?

Typical, you can’t see the facts. BG = dominating T2. BG = had a higher point lead than what SoS has right now, MID WEEK. Than all of a sudden BG dropped off the face of the Earth running out manned buff and no commanders online remainder of the week? Sorry, it isn’t hard to destroy an empty server.

BG dominating in T2? They can’t be with the numbers BG had in T1, not even possible.

Fact is, BG got killed by SBI and JQ’s exploit whining. BG’s main wvw guilds stop playing or transfer off, SBI demolish BG in a sheer numbers game at that point.

Proof? Look at the whining towards SoS.SoS is doing great! They are going to win so seriously suck it up and realize you aren’t the bes and learn from this.

At the beginning of our T1 battle we were accused of exploiting, hacking, cheating, ect, ect, ect. BG ignored it because it was nothing but a bunch of sore losers on the other servers at the time. At the end of week one we noticed some forum threads popping up on some fansites offering an alliance with JQ to push BG to T2. We thought nothing of it. We barely even visited the forums, and those who did were usually trolling SBI and JQ causing more drama. Until week 2 started, and multiple reports of 2v1 scenarios were reported. Again, we thought nothing of it until it continued for 3 days straight. Then we started reporting it on the forums to which, SBI, and JQ commanders obviously denied it despite the number of screenshots and reports we had.

BG is a close server and we can call people into WvW when we wanted to. This time however at the end of Week 2, many guilds and commanders ordered the players to stand down and drop from T1 during week 3, we no longer wanted to be apart of the drama ridden T1 grouping at the time until SBI or JQ was knocked from T1, which we are patently waiting for. Not many guilds transferred off to my knowledge, but those so called bandwagoners took their place in SBI’s rankings.

Sadly this is what happens when a group of childish commanders on other servers enter the forums and spread rumors that apparently everyone on a single server is hacking. But I hope SoS kicks someone out of T1 so we can have a good fight and see who truly is the best.

SoS has become stacked beyond belief. SBI and SoS are the same level IMO; but who knows maybe next week SBI will pound SoS. If SBI is gonna run the event as an excuse/dungeon as an excuse… if they don’t show up next week; I guess its time to usher in a new champion.

Seriously BG players quit it with the 2V1 crying from T1. kitten happens; get over it.

I’m sorry that you guys didn’t leave the mark on tier 1 that you thought you would and you certainly can’t blame SBI and JQ for guilds leaving your server. I’m saying SoS was and is starting to act like Blackgate was; and my god the crying in these T1 threads. I personally am about fed up with Blackgate, why should I try when the best they want for themselves is 4th place?

I came from SoS to BG for a server that cared about being T1, now that RQ and Cond left we have one guild that even cares about the future of the server. So yeah I’ll pull for SoS until the server starts giving a crap again.

No, I want to filter if I see that person in chat. Not if other people see them; IDC if they want to sift through her garbage. I don’t and I think blocking someone should block them in guild chat too.

You can but they still show up in Guild Chat. It’s not that I hate the person; but they spew so much crap out that it’s headache inducing to sift through for the WvW zones and updates.

Out people in guild chat… there is this one girl in my guild who just won’t ever shut the hell up, and I’m pretty much required to rep them at all times to stay in for WvW. A.net please change the block feature or let us filter members.

Killing a sentry should be secondary and be completely situational; if you’re taking a camp to actually use the supply flow then yeah; kill the sentry.

I got an idea; how about SBI and JQ stop provoking Raven’s childish mentality and everyone just lets it go? I think that’s a good idea; seriously this childish crap makes me embarrassed to even be on BG and in KnT.

Don’t get me wrong I relish a good fight, that’s why I loved our stint in T1. I worked my kitten off in WvW those weeks to make this server proud (Especially being a new name coming from Sea of Sorrows).

Fight tooth and nail beside your brothers in arms against strong willed opponents you do nothing but create friendships that last; you garner respect simply due to your determination. Unlike most of BG I tried my best to do everything I could even if it was a small Supply party to get us back into the fight.

It’s good to see people back after falling to T2 but, that isn’t where real strength lies. Real strength is when your opponents give you black eye and you come back swinging harder just to give em what they gave to you. SoR embodies that; hell IoJ despite their deficit are out there pounding the pavement to give us what is due. I respect you guys; hope to see you guys in the coming weeks if we dont go back into T1

Really this is not a suggestion to defend camps, but to take camps right before the tick.

Really, defense should be kind of common sense. Putting people to prevent flipping for points does you good. No point in telling people “HEY DEFENSE IS A GOOD THING” especially considering it should be common sense.

It’s no 2v1; Blackgate just really hates IoJ. I don’t know why, I want to see us beat SoR around more since I came from Sea of Sorrows.
