Instead of disabeling it maybe it needs to be changed… Just an idea:

Guesting is originally thought so you can play with your friends on other servers right?

So what if you can only guest to a server that you have a friend on that is currently online and in your party? Sure there are still workarounds I guess but it should limit the amount of people guesting a bit?

I think you are forgetting about the positive domino of people getting organised. Server overlapping people organsing teq encounters together, etc

People that are sick of overflows should join forces and guest on a low pop server and do the event there in an organised group

I guess it’s a good thing that people that give up easily don’t show up anymore? Maybe it will leave the people that actually want to make an effort to get organised on a map together and not spread up over several overflows

Didn’t get to play teq yet as I had to work all day but looking forward to it.

I had the same problem the other day. I was somehow able to get in a couple of days later as long as I didn’t start the instance.

Ever since I can not start any dungeon or fotm, the rest of the party just won’t get invited in with me. Exptremly frustrating in fotm since I have the highest lvl in our group…

If you find an exotic armour you would rather craft our buy other than the orr one but orrian jewelery boxes and sell whatever you find. Should give you a good amount of gold to help buying armor. Just remember to use as many karma boostes as possible before reusing all the karma stuff you get

Just prevent him from resetting… problem solved. The giant will die eventually even if people farm the event since everyone uses AoE to tag as many mobs as possible

I’m missing the sort of tournament feeling that gw1 used to have with the hall of heros… also that it had an effect on the PvE world by opening up Underworld and forgotthename

Also in gw1 it was more diverse with all the different formats of fights you had along the way to HoH

Do as many daily boss events as possible to get rares, salvage them and sell ectos works as well.

If you enjoy doing other stuff rather than just running CoE and fractals just get Moot if you like the look of it and you would use it.

EDIT: He should be easy enough to grind down if you have a couple of people. If you are the only one who wants to complete the event you would have failed anyway since it is a group event.

I don’t see the problem…. Just complete the event and ignore chat.

And farmers can just guest on another server if someone completes the event…

It is annoying, most of the time it is easy to fix though, just kick the affected person from party and reinvite…

No you definitly can’t. They are soulbound on acquire so you can’t buy them with other Chars either.
