Not sure if this belongs here but a “clue” or a fact that everyone seems to ignore so far is that (if I remember right) a anet dev said that the stronger Teq had something to do with the living story as well!?

The big boss chest is once per day per character.
The battery defense bonus chests you get every time (blue, green, rare)
The exotic bonus chest is once per account per day

It said in the article somewhere it will be similar to Teq. Also when Teq was revamped they already said that other bosses will be revamped to the same difficulty or similar world bosses added

So excited, hope it is at least as hard as Teq

Even if you could only guest to servers that you have friends on would probably not make a difference. Multi server guilds will still have friends on the server they want to guest to anyway

I like the idea but I can’t see Scarlet being a part of it

I have only been in a PUG group about 4 times since I play gw2 and it was hottible every time

Yesterday oceanic time on IoJ there were about 6 ppl at teq, so I think it is fair to say that the oceanic players on IoJ have given up unfortunatly

They don’t always announce all changes anyway…

I wish I could take you up on it but with my kids not going to bed before 7 pm its not going to work for me

If you plan on attacking australian prime time (like 8 pm QLD time) I would be interested. Got warrior and ele in case you want to try with some warriors as well.

Not a server but the oceanic time zone needs help. I don’t think teq has been killed in australian prime time (lets say 8 pm QLD time) yet and it makes me sad…

I have no problem with people who want to play with friends that are on other servers. I do not want guesting totally taken away. I do want it to get changed though so that people aren’t simply going to other servers to complete content. If you have no friends online on whatever server then you have no reason to be there.

I 100% agree… As I said before, make it so you can only guest if you have a friend online and in your party from that server. Some people will still find a way around it by making friends with strangers through forums but it should lower the amount “unneccessary” guests.

Now, I would like to see something similar: No chest from world bosses if you’re guesting…period.

I get your point and I don’t entirely disagree, but you would also punish people who just want to play with their friends and kill a world boss on their way… just not fair either

Not sure why this is still beeing discussed, they won’t remove guesting for several reasons and you all know it…

maybe there will be restrictions one day, but probably not
