Guild Wars 2

I have tier 1 ‘prototype fractal capacitor’ ascended back piece on my ele. But i want this gear on my warrior since the stats are better for him than my ele. My question is when i upgrade to tier 2 (using mystic forge) would this remove the soulbound status? Because i want to swap it from my ele and put it to my warrior. thanks

Score update: few minutes ago

Couple of moments ago, me and 4 other people ran fotm level 10. When we came to ‘free the capture colossus’ path, to my surprise all the exploits were gone BUT new bugs were introduced. In this thread im going to upload a short clip (sorry for poor quality) showing how we couldnt manage to hit the seal since there wasnt any mobs around us to hit. At the end we decided to commit suicide to reset the path. After we came back from the reset there was one hammer on the ground and one hammer in his hand while he was still 3/4 of hp (and seal 100%). Long story short, the ending was the most buggiest where we needed to kill him twice when his hp fell to zero since the seal was still at 1/4. Dont know what else to say.

i dont understand this gate used to open before, but not anymore. I started running Arah dungeons 2 weeks after the official release of gw2 and everytime i ran arah p 3 with pugs this has never happened to me before. You can find countless vidoes on youtube of people running arah path 3 where they use the 3rd waypoint to open the gate guarded by an illusionist and a berserker mobs. Plus if you die to lupicus giganticus the second waypoint is like on the other side of the dungeon and takes years to get back to the arena where you fight him. This doesnt make sense to me.

Today a group of 5 people (including myself) ran Arah path 3 to see if they fixed the bug, but to my surprise it was still there. After killing the second boss, we opened both of the doors using the globe light (forgot the name) to open another waypoint to fight Giganticu lupicus. After killing all the small mobs (and a hunter) we went to kill two illusionist guarding the door to the entrance where there is other mobs (one champion, eye wards etc). After killing those two illusionist the gate didnt open. What to do?

man what a close game for second spot. heres the update, just a minute ago

My pc is made for gamming and it has no problems what so ever. never crashes or lags. However when im in Uncategorized fractal in FotM where you need to jump across rocks/platforms with harpies trying to shoot you down gw2 client just shuts down. I tried using mesmer portal and that didnt work. im still on lvl 10 but im supposed to be 16 or 17 by now. This never happens in spvp, pve or wvw only in this path in fotm. This is so annoying and frustrating.

im stuck on lvl 1 on Fotm, everytime i join the meet Dessa path at the jumping area (right at the beginning of the path) i get disconneted and when i try to join back in it doesnt allow me. This happened to me on every occasion when im in. Please help me, i cant go to lvl 2.

we were trying to cap the orgewatch tower at EB just moments ago. After i spent around 25-30 mins hitting the gate with a ram, casting my spells and finally when the gate was down we made our way up to the champs room. Mind you i was hitting him with all my spells when i was up there.

When i was inside the champions room somehow something pulled me down and i fell to the ground. He was about to die so I tried running back to the top but i was too late. guess what i got nothing. Zero Karma, Zero Coins. I dont care if i didnt get any reward but i feel like i wasted my 30 mins for nothing. Atleast give me a pat on the back or something for wasting 30 mins of my precious life. I want to thank Anet for making me hate this game even more. Thanks. All the best of luck in the future endeavors.

I stopped playing gw2 because of this RNG rubbish, bs whatever you want to call it. I have like 600 hours of game play in one of my characters (lvl 80 Norn Elemenatalist) a lone. And after losing over 100 gold in the Mystic Forge i havent touched gw2 since then. i played for 600 hours and i wasnt closer to getting the legandary precurosor ‘the legend’ then the person lets say who just started playing for like 1 minute. GW2 is a great game no questions about that but this RNG nonsense has no room in a western oriented mmorpg.

im sorry but you can not make profit from the mystic forge. And also I dont see anyone crying in this thread but who knows it might be you.

@ lackofcheese what evidence? i dont need evidence because the proof is out there and all you need to do is open your eyes and pay a little attention whats going around you. do i need to show you a video of botters? or people hacking into peoples accounts and stealing their gold? or using 500% magic find hacks? or using karma exploits to buy high tier weapons/armor? or other exploits like using low level weapons/armor in the mystic forge to craft higher weapons/armor . Please! They are the ones running the show, not me nor legit players i know.

Maybe you should be more efficient with your time if your idea of farming earns you less than 50 silver an hour. Also, there weren’t nearly as many exploited karma weapons turned into precursors as you think there are.

If you even pay a little bit of attention to this forum and other forums, there’s tons of people talking about looting a precursor from a mob or getting one in their first ten forges or whatever.

What makes you so sure that the people selling their precursors didn’t spend a hundred gold throwing things into the forge for it? Why are you trying to drag other people down? If they were lucky, why can’t you be happy for them?

And those who are lucky enough to get the precursor from the mystic forge are going to keep them and they are not stupid to sell them on the TP if they need it to craft their legendary weapon. I have nothing against legit players, if they deserve to get the precursor i’ll be happy for them.

Buying the legendary precursor from the trading post (TP) isn’t a right idea. Let me tell you a story . You have two people. You have one person who wants the precursor to craft their legendary weapon/armor and the other one who’s selling the precursor at the TP for 400g. Alright, the person who wants to buy it from the TP needs to put so much effort, spend a lot of his or her time day and night farming for the gold. Thats more than 1000 hours farming probably . While on the other hand the person selling the precursor (most likely got it from the karma exploit) has put ZERO effort. Nothing! Not even one drop of sweat. Come on, Is that fair? Is that justice? I know life in the real world isnt fair but come on they should atleast make things fair in the game. Oh Well, “Such is life”.

What is the point getting all your other stuff when you cant get the precursor? after all this are they still expecting me to put another 40 exotic staffs and cross my finger and hope for the best? thats not going to happen anymore. So what can i do? Nothing.

i didnt just buy all the exotics from the tp and put in the MF. Some of them were crafted (400 Artificer), and at the end, i even put the most expensive level 80 exotics staffs like the Deathwish and some other ones that i got from loots and map completion. What is done is done. i know it really hurt me back then but im slowly moving on. Thanks for your replies.

Thats the thing i dont understand… spending time doing events, wvw, pvp, dungeons isnt that enough. Why do you need luck to get the precursor? IMHO for someone to get the precursor should be based on how much time and effort they put into the game NOT by chance or luck. I put so much effort and spent 10 hours every day (since the three day head start) farming for gold, items, mats etc and what happened at the end i lost everything. It hurts but thats problem i need to deal with. Hope Arnet looks into this.

I’m a level 80 Norn Elementalist and like everybody else my goal is to craft my first legendary weapon ‘the Biofrost’. Couple of hours ago i put 40 exotic staffs into the mystic forge costing me well over 100g and guess what? I Got nothing.

Guild Wars 2 (GW2) is a great game and it requires a lot of farming and grinding no questions about that BUT today that wasn’t even enough to get what i wanted. I spent so much of my time farming for gold and losing everything less than a minute in the mystic forge is heart breaking. It was a gamble i know that but i didnt have any other choice at the emd. How was i suppose to get the precursor anyway? Some people told me to buy the precursor from the Trading Post (TP) but the prices on the TP is ridicules. the precursor ‘The Legend’ is 400g on the TP which is unbelievably high.

Anyway from today onwards im going to a break from GW2 i dont know how long thats going to be. i guess time will tell. And i would like to hear your stories, suggestions or opinions. Sorry for the long post. Thanks
