yeah flank the zerg balls and they fall over
dominate them in the NA to the point that they cant recover in the oceanic
put aggressive pressure on WM in EB, they cant fight in the open field at all
cap behind WM because they don’t play defense
have decent oceanic coverage, if they cant pvd then they wont win.

basically its very little skill and all coverage with them. they will just wait you out in NA then pvd everything in the morning with their oceanics.

LOL, i dont know what else to say. i have no idea what you’re talking about. Kain has 24/7 coverage and big numbers. We have strong NA, strong Oceanic, strong Asian and good EU coverage. We’re beating and out-scoring DB and Mag in NA primetime with an average 400 PPT. We have improved dramatically in this match-up, playing defensive, building sieges at the right places in our keeps/towers , using team work, rallying on commanders when needed, having small groups capturing supply camps etc. As we progress tiers, we are getting better as a server and we are using more better and efficient tactics in dealing with numerous problems that comes our way.

sure if by “more better” and efficient tactics you mean droping hundreds of gold into multiple golem rushes on a keep being held by randoms 1/3rd your number and still taking multiple days to accomplish the task.

and if you mean “small group capturing supply camps” as 30+ people

and by “building sieges at the right places” means that you’ve been doing it wrong before. thus validating every other tier’s commenting about your skill.

Sure they are going to be unsuccessful golem rushes. this is normal in every server. tell me a server who has 100% success rate and ill be your servant for the rest of my life. on the other hand, I seen numerous failed golem rushes from both DB and Mag. They lost 10-15 golems because of our canons. so does that make them a crap server? i dont think so.

do you really think we always send 30+ people to capture supply camps. please dont be arrogant.

i was talking about our pugs who are still learning where to place siege weapons at the best places when defending/attacking towers and keeps.

People get over the reset night, the first 6 hours you guys were winning because Mag and DB was primarily focusing on Kain. I’ll give you an example. Mag BL, we had Mag rushing to the keep from the north to prevent Kain from capturing it, while we had DB coming from the west trying to stop us from taking our tower.

its been 4 days, and i havent seen DB take their tower and keep ( close to their spawn) in Mags BL and Mg didnt take their tower and keep in DBs BL. I can see some sort of alliance between this 2 servers. Even then, we can see whats happening with the score.

That is far from the truth. From 7PM EDT on Friday until somewhere between 3-5 EDT both Maguuma and DB had higher scores than Kain. That is a little more than six hours.

And, no, you didn’t have a slow start because the opposing servers ganged up on Kain. All BLs were equally trashed by other servers. You guys failed at doing anything substantial in EB besides holding SM while your section of EB went down in flames mostly by us Maggies, but also with some Dragonbrand people taking that section from time to time.

Guess what? When servers start losing heavily, the fairweather people disappear. But when all things are equal, like on reset night, Kain has done poorly two weeks in a row…

if you read my post clearly i was talking about PPT not overall score. Well 9 hours after reset we always led and never dropped from first place.

We respect all guilds in Kaineng and thats including WM. WM has brought a lot to this server and im very grateful of them. I don’t know what really happened but WM shouldn’t take it out on the entire server because of some sort of miscommunication between 2 or more individuals. We need to work as a team to become successful and rise to the tops. Well, if we cant do that, we could might else pack our bags and leave. Hope it never comes to that over something very small. We need to forget what happened in the past… shake hands and move on for the sake of Kaineng and start planning new tactics for the next coming reset. Kain has the potential to grow and become a very strong server. And everyone knows that. Anyway, all the best to everyone. Don’t forget, at the end of the day it’s just a game. Peace

It’s taken FA roughly from release till about two months ago before we got decent matchups. Looks like we can look forward to another 3 months of nonsense.

Oh well, at least the last week should be super exciting on NA. The last tier 1 slugfest of old ratings, dolyak war v3 in T2, battle of the new Maguuma and the new Kaineng in T3 with special guest dragonbrand, in T4 Yak’s Bend gets a favorable matchup, and T5-T8 i dunno I don’t keep track of those.

i agree, when matches were finally getting balanced it seems like Anet wants us to go back to first days of release of gw2. Where everything wasnt balanced. Is this WvW season 2? or end of WvW?

As a Kain player we will be better of if we stay in this tier rather then moving up a tier since we will get more points here then in tier 3. So whould we continue fighting? what for. Its better if we let the Yaks and CDs take all our stuff…. I know this is frustrating but what can we do? Just follow and run around like a headless chook.

How about…this tier isn’t fun so we NOT stay here. Besides Mag is next tier, Mag is fun to fight against. Screw “must get to t1 faster”. Have fun :P

i know what you mean by this tier being boring but we need to look at the bigger picture. If we stay in this tier next week (which is unluckily anymore) we can reach tier 1 faster. I dont know what else to think anymore.

Really is sad that players think this way. I dont give a kitten what tier the server I am on ends up as long as the matches are fairly competitive. Whole system was broke anyway and we all know who other than Anet to thank for that now don’t we?

Is a game folks and its cool to be competitive but if you are even entertaining the idea of sitting on your hands so your server ends up in a certain bracket you might as well get an L tattooed on your forehead.

this is absurd. When WvW was slowly stabilising, anet decides to make things worse. Look at next weeks match up, the top 4 tiers looks more even then ever before. Why reset now, when things are getting better? i say give one more week, if things are not doing well then consider as the final option. peace

CD you guys played very good today. After long 6 hours of siege, you were able to capture garrison in CD BL so i would like to thank you for hard fighting. With 7-8 golem rush we didnt have much man power to stop you guys. We, Kains will never give up and we will fight until our last breath. We will always be coming, coming and coming non stop. Kain has changed alot in the past couple of weeks. We have grown in a exponential rate believe or not :P

the only time you really need agony resist is in jade maw and when it comes to other mobs you can easily dodge their agony. i used 250 ectos to upgrade to tier 2 back piece, so are you telling me that A-net should remove this? whats going to happen to people who already used 250-500 ectos to upgrade their back piece? Is Anet going to give back their 250 ectos? it wont be fair on me and so many other people who has already used this recipe.
