i would rather fight Zombie Sea then Zombie Square. i take jade sea anytime. Viz just blobs with 100+ man and no joke there is more than 80+ Viz blob around 2pm-9pm (AEST) with max 10 Deso in EB and zero in other boderlands (Im not sure what time thats in europe, im Australian from Sydney xD). We been fighting them for 4-5 months straight and most of us in desolation that i know has stopped playing wvw or gw2 because we cant drop down a tier and wvw is staled.

i dont want another French server in t1, 1 is more than enough. atleast the Germans fight in open-field unlike Viz who hides in their towers/keeps with 1 million siege even though they outnumber us 3 :1
i have one question for my Elona friends, are you guys fighting "Not’ to go to tier 1? Seriously we had enough from this tier! everything is staled. we cant even drop down a tier because of the kitten glicko system. please please please come to tier 1. Hes not really QQing. Hes asking if there are any reliable counters to this kind of thief play and well, there isn’t really. The mechanics are stacked against the necro player on this one. It doesn’t mean you can’t win under any circumstances – the other player might make serious mistakes. You might get ganked on very favourable terrain. But these things are largely out of your control.

when im doing bl jp with my full exotic/ascended lvl 80 thief i dont attack anyone unless if they attack me first. im there to get my badges/blue prints and they are there for the same reason. Clearly the guy was trying to complete his/her jp without the intention of dueling you.

From what i have read so far
EU- good fights, less worry about score
NA – more about points and less fight
so why would any guild go to NA jsut to sit in a tier 3 tower so the next timezone can take over and do the same, when we can fight to death in EU without really worrying about the scores that plague the NA servers.
That’s so true, NA plays for points while EU plays for fun and good fights. The only server in EU that plays for points is Vizunah. But then again they are zombies, so i dont think that counts :P.

I was on Piken Square when the guilds left so i chose to move to NA servers and i will NEVER move back to EU servers.
Im not sure if you’re a russian or not but Piken Square had some good russian guilds like RG. But I dont blame you for transferring to another server because PR became a ghost town after their hardcore wvw guilds transfered to SFR hence making them super-power in EU. Yet saying that, 1800 gems is too expensive for eu guilds to transfer not just to NA but any high populated servers. players cant afford 60 gold or 25 euros and its not worth playing in NA with higher latency.
If there was a free transfer week to NA servers from EU then i would say maybe there’s a chance of eu players and guilds transferring to NA. im sorry to tell you that i dont think any players or guilds from europe will pay 1800 gems to play in NA, no way! i wont.
But i wish some guilds in NA pays Vizunah players and guilds to transfer to NA. they have so many people in their server. Even their server cant handle their numbers. With random crashes and teamspeak breakdowns is very common in vizunah. please take them xD. GL

since day 1, people are still using zoom hacks, fly hacks, speed hacks, lag hacks, mesmer exploit other expolits etc they havent got banned yet. so there is no way in the world anet will ban some one for spying.
EU tier 1 has turned into NA tier 1 with all this blobbing going on. No joke! I really hate it! For so many months i was in NA t1/t2 before transferring to desolation. And trust me NA t1/t2 is all about blobbing and thats why i came to eu t1 in the first place. To avoid blobbing!!!!!!!!! But with the last ‘big WvW’ patch (26/3) everything turned sour. Every server in eu t1 is blobbing now. SFR blob, Viz blob , Deso blob. I cant even find small skirmish fights anymore. WvW is getting boring now. Believe it or not i even started playing other games now like cs. I enjoyed WvW before 26/3 but not anymore. RIP WvW. RIP EU t1

one of the reasons why SFR is on the decline because of the constant insults and abuses to their own pugs and pve/pvx guilds in SFR wvw chats. This isnt helping your server at all. If you guys cant work as a team might else well say bye bye to tier 1. i hope you guys can overcome the internal problems thats facing your server atm because you guys from SFR bring good quality open fights and also bring stability to t1. What is this BS about SFR asking for all these gamebreaking decisions from ANET .They screwed SFR big time .I don’t recall any other T1 server getting free to transfer except SFR and that was the most stupid decision ever made by a game company.Enjoy your wins but know that you never beaten SFR before ANET forced us to play at half guild force and guilds already left and considering because we can’t play anymore.2 hour queve is unnaceptable and we want to play with our guild members not run arround with pugs from vabbi.

Looks like VS weekly wednesday raid is now live: a huge blob (not less than 50-60) is tearing apart all the maps, focusing green points. I’m okay with that, but beeing outmanned at this time of day is sad thing.

SFR and Vizunah gangs up on Desolation here and there so its quite normal for double teaming to happen occasionally. i say its part of the game to some extent.
To answer the question first: We cannot know anymore.
The reason is very simple, the tiers are now that far apart, that switching between tiers is no longer possible. Each tier now only plays it’s own inner-tier ranking (around the brackets average rank), but comparison between tiers is not possible anymore as there are no switches between tiers anymore..
Determine the matches has to be decoupled from the ranking for Glicko-2 to work properly. E.g. determine matches using on a rank-based probability and not using a rank-based determination.
Hi Elona friend, EU tier 1 is so messed up right now with all the blobbing and Zerging going on. Most of the times is unplayable because of the skill lag. its better for you guys to stay in tier 2 for better game experience imho. GL

Well SFR is a heavily stacked server as we know and they even have few NA guilds playing for them. thats why they have high PPT during early morning. Desolation hasnt won tier 1 match for 2-3 months. do you see us QQ in the forums like sfr? no! SFR doesnt respect their own players so i dont expect them to respect other servers or guilds.
after the mass commanders lost problem, the people who do not listen to commanders since the patch (like you SFR) now we have the very worrying DDoS problem. Since 3 days, at the same hours, TS VS down, someone take control of moderator and random ban people, then backup TS down too, and now many TS of guilds DDOsed too… i’m very sad of this. Of course i don’t know who do this, one night i saw some french people insulting and trashing on maps then it crashed just after, dunno if it’s linked.
Guilds gave their TS to help, but now DDosers attack them. 5-6 TS of guilds down in the same time…

de-spawning of defensive siege weapons inside towers and keeps is absurd and shouldnt happen. This needs to be removed from the game completely. most of the times we are outmanned in EU tier 1 and siege weapons de-spawning when your outmanned and have one tower in the entire ma kitten o rediculous. no wonder why a lot of guilds quit gw2.
Deso are basically the new VZ with the huge Iron blobs that achieve very little when they have people to fight and the guild Coin who are really good at running away.
Still at least the bags keep rolling in, thanks for the exotics today much appreciated.

Yes, to some extent i had a good time in SFR , it was so fun roaming around with me desolation friends killing vizunah for 1 week. that was priceless.
im going to post some screen shots from last night taken inside SFR garrison. Viz and Deso were all attacking SFR garri at the same time but SFR managed to stopped them from capping.
Just look at the orange swords in the first SS, we were being attacked on 3 sides lol.
The same thing was happening the night before on Deso with Viz and SFR attacking from either side on Garrison, doesn’t meant they were teaming up they were just taking the opportunity to knock our doors together, even though we wiped both sides multiple times whenever they knocked and then they gave up
