Fort Aspenwood
“Oil down.” “Mortar down.” “Stupid arrow cart.”
I hate Orr only by virtue of no other open-world area being as profitable as Cursed Shore.
I long for the day when I complete my legendary and can say, “I think I’ll farm some trolls in Frostgorge today, because I don’t care that sporadic powerful blood drops aren’t as profitable as a constant stream of moldy bags.”
-add ‘lockpick’ tool
-add ‘valuables’ resource nodes inside cities
-add merchant that trades ‘valuables’ for actual trinkets.
- Allow lockpicks to break
- Bring back the Lucky/Unlucky title tracks.
I’m about halfway to my Legendary, and GW2 needs more ridiculously annoying titles to work on. :P
I got two Dusks and one Dawn using 16 exotic greatswords.
I got the Legend from combining random white items.
Then I woke up. And cried. ;_;
changeable mouse icon colors.
This is my #1, and if ANet would implement this, I would go blow a wad of cash buying gems merely in celebration. The cursor is impossible to locate at high resolutions in large fights with explosions going off everywhere.
Other than that:
- Build saving (sorely missing feature from GW1)
- Fix precursors. I don’t even care if it’s still RNG; but when precursors are pushing 700G, something is broken.
- Weapon swapping for Elementalists.
- More armor skins. Preferably medium armor that isn’t lame, so I actually want to play my Engy more often.
- More Asura hair styles. :P
- Siege golems need to have cat ears and whiskers. I take it back, this is the number one issue facing the game.
I don’t really agree with that. Finishing what you are in the middle of doing does not necessarily mean you are hardcore about it. Imagine you were doing laundry and she said she wanted to go to the sauna and you said you need to wait for the dryer to finish. Are you hardcore about Laundry? Nope.
I am hardcore about laundry.
I do laundry 24/7. I scour the Internets to figure out the best fabric softner.
Man, you casual launderers are ruining it for us.
Norns are the only ones that actually break the typical fantasy race mold
Given that Norse-inspired barbarians are a fantasy staple, no, no they do not.
There are two problems with avoiding the stereotypical fantasy race pit. First is mechanics – if everybody’s happily humanoid, you only need one set of mechanics for equipment. Great for programmers, but the problem is when you go humanoid, you end up with humans with funny makeup, who are socially or politically restricted in a completely arbitrary and nonsensical manner to make them “different”.
Second, even if you sidestep that problem and delve into the realm of non-human-with-funny-makeup, what exactly can you come up with that hasn’t been done? Centaurs? Glue sticks have been around since the Greeks, if not longer. Oozes? I admit, I totally want to play an ooze and just sit around in a puddle, doing ooze things, thinking about ooze stuff.

…Has been accurate, as far as I’ve used it. Weekends seem to be the best time to find an open temple of Balth, as it were.
If the super adventure box is just for April fools it will be the biggest letdown in MMO history and won’t be funny at all. A lot of people are really looking forward to that, and it seems much too elaborate to be a joke.
I’m hoping it is just for April fools, and that any rewards are not soul/account bound.
…Look, I missed Halloween and Wintersday, and need event junk to sell for an absurd amount of gold a few months from now, so I can buy The Legend. :p
Going by the trends we are seening i would say there is a better chance of them putting precoursers in the BLchests ofcourse at a 0.0000000001% chance but buy a key get a precourser
Quiet, you! Don’t give them any ideas!
And this game had a lot of promises too don’t you agree? Look at how those panned out. Thus i’m standing by my comment of you are putting too much into TESO. I’ll believe it when the game comes out and has all the promises made actually implemented into the game. I’ve played enough MMOs in the past to know that what is said on paper rarely actually translates into the game.
Indeed. One thing people don’t seem to understand about TESO is that Bethesda has nothing to do with it – it’s coming from the relatively untested ZeniMax Online, and headed up by the guy who brought the disaster that was Trials of Atlantis to DAOC.
I’d like TESO to be succcessful, if only because of the Elder Scrolls IP – but I’m not holding my breath. The hype is ridiculous at this point, and we all know how that works out. :p
