This patch you’re better off playing Necro, Thief, or Mesmer. Give up on Warrior until GW3 beta.
I am continually disappointed by how Anet handles the warrior class in PVP. This time around they managed to ruin it for me in PVE as well so good job. It’s a good thing I like other classes and other games for that matter.
Oh sure I’ll just remove ALL of the conditions they are putting on me while fearing me for 13k. Terror Necro is fine. They needed a big buff but once again Anet went too far.
How are melee classes supposed to deal with this condition?

The new thief sword abilities are way too strong. Evasion + boon stealing all while hitting for 1.5-3.5k? It’s impossible to deal with this for most professions.
Let’s have other objective type pvp maps, but getting rid of the holy trinity is one of the best features GW2 offers, and it ruins PVP in games that have it IMO. Ever play a healer in PVP? It’s horrible being marked and targeted 1st constantly.
What MMO is better than GW2, especially for PVP? None I dare say.
Are you sure your stability isn’t being stolen by a sword thief or your boons corrupted by a necro?
Yes, actually my main is a Warrior, and I PVP with 2 different versions of varying builds. I’ve pretty much given up on them ever being valuable in PVP ever since the massive nerfs during beta, but I still play it until I get too frustrated. People get so bent out of shape about 100b which is literally the easiest ability in the game to counter.
I totally admit D/D Cantrip Ele was very strong before, though solid Rangers/Engineers/ alternate spec Thieves could give us trouble. I think the strong Ele nerfs across multiple aspects of play, in combination of buffs given to other professions is way too much.
It reminds me of the crap that Ghostcrawler used to do in that other MMO.

After patch still on top… How is that overnerfed? Have you tried warrior, or if its to hard to play overnerfed warrior did you try to play any other “non god mode” profession???
This change is meaningless. Don’t just pvp for a pve laurel, do it because it’s fun (or at least it was before this patch).
Create thief, use sword, win. I’m happy for the buffs to some of the other professions, even the ones that didn’t need it (Ranger).
Your nerfs to the healing of elementalist was too dramatic, considering so many other classes were buffed. Please consider tweaking the healing back up, it’s imbalanced that thieves have more mobility and burst and stealth in a single build, considering you’ve significantly hurt ele mobility & healing.
Also what’s the point of the 2 unlabeled columns for changing the Team Size, Score Limit values etc? I assume Red/Blue?
Why can’t you set a Maximum Players filter so you can avoid this nonsense where a server is “full” at 14/16 players.
It’s extremely frustrating the way it shows for example 10/20 teams of 8 and still full. It should have extra (not counting against joining) slots for spectators (why even list spectators??).
One nice improvement is that full servers respond much faster than before.
You sure they didn’t have protection up? 33% reduction of 315 is ~211 which seems very close to what you’re seeing.
I agree, please reduce the timeout value. It’s also really annoying when it says it’s full at 13/16, even when refreshing before & after.

Can this please be hot-fixed? It’s insane right now. Rangers can heal to full in an underwater downed state like no other class and people are abusing it.
Heartseeker should be replaced with an ability that isn’t a no skill spammable high damage/mobility gimmick.
Remove stealth and put a cooldown on heartseeker.
How does one tell the difference between a highly skilled thief and a button masher?
Thieves need to eat a massive nerf. They do way too much damage and can get out of combat trivially. It doesnt matter if they are squishy if they can disappear so easily. It’s a 2 button spec.
I’m disappointed that this won’t be hot fixed.
I agree with Shaolin, in the heat of battle I have difficulty keeping track of something as simple as which color team I’m currently on (which does change), and have been having a hard time getting used to using the scoreboard to do so.
I would have preferred the development team prioritized bug fixes such as the loading screen hang after respawn in spvp. This affects game-play for some of us, and while it’s only my opinion, I value game-play over fashion in combat.
Please give an option to disable “Instructions” after respawn.
