I do get you want people to do Guild Missions, or daily stuff, but the people that solidly want to progress on fractals, are NOT gaining influence for a guild, are unlikely to finish dailies if they aren’t INSIDE fractals and are thus having to GRIND externally for GEAR.

Alternatively, re-open 50+ and put 50+ daily drop as a new relic type Pristine Relics (ascended) and add a trader for 10 of them for Amulets/Jewelry. (This trader would NOT offer Utility infusion Amulets.)

Ascended Amulets and Jewelry Please add these to the mystic forge

Being able to turn off other players animation
In World Events, while culling is being removed, being on a hugely populated server with everyone in a map doing Claw of Jormag for example is going to drop pretty much everyone FPS from 60 to 10 if not worse. Being able to turn off the character models would be a huge plus for players on older machines. Also being able to turn down allies weapon skill animation would make it a lot easier to see if a boss is using it’s pre-skill animation. A lot of the time you can miss this due to combos going off!

UI Enhancements

My main issue is the Party Window. While you don’t need to select people as much in GW2 as you did GW1/Aion to cast things upon allies, it’s SO much easier on the team if you can see what their health is. For me, having the Party window in the top left means I don’t notice it at all when playing. It’s out of my field of vision when I play.

This is the same for all the interface really, pleasepleaseplease let us move it around a bit more freely. Being restricted to specific areas is upsetting.

Customizable Weapon Bars I know we only have 5 weapon skills at a time… but honestly my number 2 is getting worn out by spamming it all the time. If we could change the order of skills on the bar, that’d be great!

Customizable Quick Bars This was mainly for Spy Kits before the nerf.. but, being able to have a quick bar for 8 items would be very handy

Targetting options Having more ways to target a foe, similar to Aion again.
1, 2, X, Zzz from Aion meant;

1 – kill this first
2 – kill this second
X – ignore this
Zzz – use CC on this

A sort function on Inventory and Bank

In Aion this made life so much easier. Sorting all the Rares/Exotics/W.e other rarities there are and then ordering them by type to. This was something I really liked having and I’m sure others did too.

Chat Colors

Having the ability to change what chat is in what color. Aion4Lfy apparently. But customizable chat tabs aren’t really customizable at the moment in my opinion :x

Dyable Weapons

More ways to aquire Fine Transmutation Stones

As much money as you make from them, Gem prices being SO expensive makes my armor too ugly without these
Maybe more frequently from daily chest
Maybe as a hand in for dungeon tokens

More uses for Dungeon Tokens

Okay so we’ve done each dungeon a billion times, and okay they are great, but now we have all these left over tokens, we don’t want the armor as we already have the armor/weapons our chars need. We have our Legendary Weapon gift made… so what are tokens for now?Potion unlocks sure but after that I don’t really have suggestions on this one

Guild missions

I’ve recently left my guild, I’m now in a small one just of friends until we find a new one, however this means that we’re unlikely to be able to participate in Guild events in the same way. Maybe there is a way for smaller guilds to have the cost scaled down and the amount of members needed scaled down as some guilds. Ie. a FoTM guild WONT be gaining influence as much as a WvW guild, or a Dungeon Guild.

Trading Post
Light/Medium/Heavy filters please. Seeing as you can’t preview it properly seems silly that you can still have the option to buy it! You’d argue. But this filter would be very nice

Skill Recharge.
When you’re in combat, skill recharge is obviously important. I mean Time Warp x 10 in one fight would be silly. BUT! When you’re out of combat having to wait 180 seconds to start another fight seems a bit excessive. Out of combat maybe have skills recharging twice as fast.(This would have to be a PvE only update as i can see it conflicting in WvW/SPvP)

Friends Lists updates
Do Not Disturb was such a good feature. It allows you to still talk in GC without getting pm’d or bothered by non guildies etc.
Invisible isn’t Invisible. When you go invisible currently it still shows where you are if you map somewhere and updates that in Friends lists/Guild Roster.
Block List is similar to Invisible. People can still see if you’re moving about if they have been blocked by you.

Having finally pushed my Mesmer to FoTM 50 I’ve decided to throw some of my ideas down about what I would love to see in GW2.
Some improvements, some ideas, some content ideas etc.

I also appreciate people may have raised these issues/ideas before but here goes nothing, I haven’t really looked through this thread at all so I honestly am just throwing a blind thread at the wall

Scaling difficulty

This was going to start off being about Fractals, however i believe that this issue is something i’d like to see more

Rather than having an increase of foes when scaling up, could we see foes having more CC, using more conditions, doing more damage, using more prot, using more stability. Using the “more foes= harder” approach is “just stupid and wont work.”

Doing the Water Fractal at 49 earlier was fairly silly. The Krait were the only difficult part of the fractal. Rather than having just an increased amount of foes, can we have the same (or different foes) rather than just the same ones x100

More Melee Friendly

I’m sure others will agree that progressing to the higher ends of the game, Melee is pretty much insta-death. In Fractals there are very few bosses that will let you anywhere near them as PBAoE will kill you.
I have no idea how to even think about implementing a change to this.

Fractals of the Mists

Fractals in my eyes is limitless, for me I’d like to see the removal of the hard cap at 50 as it currently stops people being able to progress without someone who has already gotten past 50. (Having to use someone to open a higher level seems more broken than having to work around enemy skills)

New Ideas for Fractals: Just some of my ideas:

City of Torc’qua, clearing out the Margonites and then killing Lord Jadoth and Turep, Maker of Orphans in the same fight would be fun.

Something in the Fissure of Woe, a short Fractal perhaps to defend the Temple of War or defeat the 7 Shard Wolves at varying locations on the map having to fight through lots of mobs to get there etc.

One of the Quests from the Underworld, maybe the Chaos plains. In a similar way to how the Grawl boss pre-event works, if you fail the quest (4 Horse-Men in this case) you’d have to restart it.

We’ve seen a Solid Ocean Fractal, maybe a Stone Forest Fractal? Urgoz was a fun area and Blood Drinkers with massive bleeds and the ideas of environment effects from Urgoz potentially have some good crossovers for GW2

Other end game boss fights would be pretty cool to see return. From how I see Fractals, lore wise it’s pretty unlimited.

Maybe Shiro fight from Factions; a re-run of Zen Daijun; Sorrows Furnace (this would be an absolutely epic Fractal, maybe it counts as an entire level but you have to help all 5 of the people); The Edge of Destiny fight against Kalkatorick; The fight underground of Divinities reach in the crypt from the book

The possibilities are endless here, however more and more people have hit 500+ fractals now and while still enjoyable adding another 10 to the mix would make things much more enjoyable

Solid Ocean Fractal a slight change to this Fractal. Since people are now totally skipping over doing odd numbers and pretty much only doing dailys (as you can get your daily chest for 10 as long as you do an even number between 10-18, and your personal reward level is higher than 10) finding a group for an odd number is fairly slim without a static team. So my idea is to remove the 4th fractal from even numbers and incorporate Solid Ocean Fractal into the normal rotation and just have the daily chest pop once per character per 10 levels. Hopefully this will mean that it’s not just about farming the same levels over and over and people may actually do both the odd and even numbers again!
Alternatively, have Solid Ocean as a random spawning extra fractal and it have a chance at a high end chest for a source of exotics, ascended weapons/armor.

Having some other use for Fractal Relics

Okay, so pushing to 50 (as that is the current hard cap) means that you have either done a load of odd numbers (unlikely) or a load of even numbers. If you’ve gone up the even number route you will have gained a silly number of Fractal Relics. You have your character equipped with 35 AR (Infused Rings, Backpiece and Amulet) and have 2000 Fractal Relics left over.

Ideas really for these are maybe:

3000 = Ascended Jewelry
2000 = Ascended Amulets
1000 = Ascended Weapon Skin
500 = Pristine Relic
250 = Ascended Shard
200 = Ascended Glob
150 = Ascended Vial

I totally get the whole, you want us to use Laurels for Amulets, but put them in the FoTM trader (remove the utility ones from that vendor) and then we can’t get the special boosts from them. 20 days for an Amulet for 1 character is rediculous. another 60 days for 2 earrings is a bit over the top.

Transmuting Legendary = Exotic [Merged]

Confirmed that a transmuted Sunrise is still acting like an exotic.
When unequipping it still says 1 berserkers’s pearl…

Any updates on if my newly transmuted Sunrise will be viable for Eternity?? As much as I wanted to wait, the PVT Stats for my mesmer hurt my itch for ALL THE CRITS.

I think everyone spent their time into getting a legendary item, they shouldn’t be forced to change their build or play with less than perfect stats for their build.

I mean why do we have Ascended gear, for the pretty pink rather than silly gold? No, for the 5% (or what ever % increase, OH and the Agony Resist…..) on stats.
Why cripple us with a Legendary item that we can’t use if we want to be optimal players.

I sent a support ticket in the other day and the response was promising. They said that they were looking into it but couldn’t make any promises about it, typical anet response. But I can’t see it being difficult to change all the items with Sunrise (or other legendary) skins back to default and ascend them that way, seeing as they changed priorly transmuted Weapons to show the purple text.

Just another note, when you un-equip the item it show in game messages what you transmuted it onto. The fix that Anet made simply forced the game to pull the Skins name and put the highest rarity on the weapon.

SO, Long story short, crossed fingers for this being updated in this update but who knows. It’d be nice for those waiting for Eternity, or at least let people know they need to start farming for a second Twilight/Sunrise xD
