I was in Hills BG BL last night an I must say, while the double team was annoying I have never taken part in such a feast of loot bags. I was there from 7pm EST to around 12am and must have raked in over 300+ bags, I did not even have to chase down groups the bags just came to us, yes we did wipe OnS a few times near NE camp but for the most part the slaughter took place in Hills. I give credit to BG and JQ for persistence, but was it really worth it? And was that fun for you? I logged before it fell and am curious how long it lasted.

I logged off from commanding around 12:30 AM EST. I think I checked MOS before I went to bed at 1:30 AM and it had just fallen. Can’t be ashamed of a 6.5 hours constant double team. Must have had to clear out my inventory about 10-12 times from all of the loot.

JQ and BG have been farmed to death for 5 hours inside BG BL Hills. How bad were the repair bills?

Worth it. The fights were awesome. JQ kept expecting BG to push in, but when BG pushed in they kept killing us. Fun either way.

Yeah it was a really fun night out there defending, hills is my favorite objective to defend really. Props to HEL, RISE, DIE and the rallians that were there throughout the night on the job we all did working together to defend it

If you were smart enough to form a valid opinion/argument, then youd realize your claim of us ‘hacking’ into your tower is just plain stupid. Sure dude, a few of us lagged through the gate and took your tower.. oh wait lol nevermind we jumped right out as we do not tolerate “hacking”. Morons.

Please explain how you “accidentally lagged” into the tower 4 or 5 times yet no JQ or BG “accidentally lagged” in the tower. In fact, no other SoR “accidentally lagged” into the tower.

You would think SOMEONE would have the same problem at some point. No, just you. I would just love to hear your theory of how you are the only guild effected by this.

Our guild leader has explained the issue at hand and gave you/everyone an explanation on how it happened. The fact you’re unable to comprehend that explanation makes you a moron.

It was a simple mistake due to lag. The guardian it happened to repeatedly jumped out of the tower. The fact the only screenshots shown have showed our member entering/leaving the tower only supports our claims.

I still am confused as to why you’re all worked up with an event that happened a full 24 hours ago. We even had a GM running on the BL. So…

I was the guy on the treb opening night when HL was repeatedly “appearing” in the tower through the gate on basically every attack. I did notice the HL players jumping out… but only after taking out siege they could reach or grabbing a kill first. Now, that wasn’t everyone, but there were a few that didn’t jump out right away, including the one mesmer that portaled a small group in (which subsequently jumped out after killing an AC).

Thanks for being reasonab- errrr we did not have a mesmer portal a group in, JQ making kitten up is really ridiculous especially considering your hacking mesmer from [SG] casually helping take garrisons and whatnot.

You guys also had like 6-7 people in that tower defending it. Are you telling me your 6-7 couldnt take out our 2-3 maximum who were in the tower at any given time before they jumped out? kitten, and even if they did take out siege like you claimed, you couldnt do kitten against them with double the numbers? Come on now be reasonable lol.

Obvious accident wouldn’t be killing our siege when your commander is doing it. I am glad you are good at camping our BL we have a lot of new players who are still learning the ins and outs of WvW. But your 50 man HL blob that got wiped how many times before you finally got our garrison? That’s right you must be forgetting those times.

50 man HL blob when we had 20-25 make it into queue, makes sense! Also we took on your 60 man blob with our ~35ish all night and then absolutely steamrolled your garrison, way to go keep up the good work.

Just go out and play? Kind of difficult when theres a brick wall of queues standing in your way. Favorite moment of last night was me spamming guild chat telling people to get on into SOR BL to kick some kitten and everybody was like “Sureeeee, we’ll be right in” to mock the queues!

I was experiencing skill lag in simple 30 v 30 fights last night wherein I NEVER experience skill lag. Even with no other big fights happening on the map. I love WvW but this skill lag is unfair and makes the game unplayable.

all the videos and such are just jim dandy, however, you all make a large assumption that everyone is in a large guild, skill and geared to the teeth on every toon, and are Godlike. I’m not. I’ve seen many people that aren’t on Maguuma. If there isn’t a karma train, most people I have seen in WvW aren’t all that skilled. Enjoy Gold if we get there. I won’t be out there getting my kitten kicked by the sheer volumes of bodies that tier one can bring. Maguuma cannot even consistently QUEUE all 4 maps, yet you all want to fight servers that have hours on hours of waiting just to get in. Have fun getting annihilated. Bye Bye.

SoR doesn’t consistently queue all 4 maps during any timezone. Quit being such a crybaby holy crap. I don’t know Maguuma well but from what I’ve been reading it looks like there’s at minimum 4 organized NA WVW guilds? One guild per map + pugs on each map = enough to contend in Gold. Sounds like your server doesn’t want fair weathers out there anyways.

Anywho, looks like mag will be making it into gold from what I can tell. Looking forward to fighting you guys!

I’ve been in this guild for about three weeks now and I couldn’t ask for a better group of people that this guild consist of to play with. They are all really nice and so welcoming. When I first joined everyone said welcome. This is my first big Guild that I’ve been in, so I was a little intimidated, but don’t let our numbers scare you off ! They care about their players and are always there to give you help if needed. We are mainly WvW focused( but there are always guildies doing dungeons,world events and ect.). Some of us are usually always in TS so its a nice way for you to get to know everyone better, if you wish.HL has its fun and games but we all know when we need to put our game faces on. To be fair, BG isnt the best at defending their waypointed keeps. Just ask the PLX+ICoa map blob from last night and how they only were able to banner rez the bay claimer once and lost it immediately after that :/

How on earth do you guys fit 3 large guilds on 1BL. Are the devs on your server opening up extra queue space per border for you or something :-p that’s just insane
[HL], [HeL] AND [Choo]……we’re having trouble fielding even 1 and a half guild on the border :-/

Choo has maybe 20, HL under 30, Hel 15-20(EDIT: 21) where as HzH had a single, extremely large zerg.

Please do not be mistaken HzH as a guild is maxed at 34 que problems, EMP with 14 and with some militia we honestly just don’t know where our que is.

We mean nothing by this just a serious question is all, we are never able to get 3 guilds in a border.

You left out the other part of the message where it said most have transferred on their own, only a few are left.

Exactly no one actually asked for help someone kindly just made the offer, were all mostly in off our own backs in the case of AFTL the only people we don’t have are those who haven’t been online the last week or so to make the move and a few we left behind to deal with admin on the other end those people are covered already by us.

I have both, but I generally prefer my warrior commanding. Healing signet is a nice heal, and endure pain is almost as good as renewed focus really. Add on 32k+ HP and an OP hammer and you have yourself a nice commander class. Yes I understand the guardians heals/condition removal/blah blah but the warrior is where its at.

For having ~30 HL tonight maximum with me, I’d say we performed admirably in the 2.5 hours we fought in garrison against BG/JQ. Blobgate couldnt take it with their 70 man zerg, nor could JQ :c

I am Guardian of Rall from the guild [HL] on the Sanctum of Rall server. [HL] is one of the more active, larger PvX guilds on SoR and we are looking for more members to help us achieve our goal of world domination. Were looking for certain kinds of mentalities that will fit in within the ranks of HL so that we can form a solid, friendly atmosphere while still maintaining a roster of our size.

Who we’re looking for
-> Players who are not afraid of trying new things (but in all seriousness, we’re a quirky bunch and one night we might be having a serious WvW outing, whereas on the next we may be doing something ridiculous)

-> Players who are mature, yet still know how to have fun. While our ultimate goal is to enjoy ourselves and not run our guild like some strict GW2 reincarnation of 1960’s U.S. Marine boot camp, we still like to know that our members can be mature when need be and not cause any drama or issues.

-> Players who enjoy WvW on some level. While we are a PvX guild, we do do a decent amount of WvW. It is not mandatory to participate if you are online, but it’s always nice to see the guild supporting our nightly commanders by dedicating some time and effort to ensure battlefield victories. On a related note, we may suggest build changes as well, so make sure to have an open mind.

On that note, lets talk a little about who WE are
-> We’re a large 470+ members – ~100 online nightly PvX guild from the Sanctum of Rall server. We have all missions unlocked, all buffs unlocked and generally running, and just about anything a guild can offer in this game.

-> We have a solid core of players who will fight through thick and thin and remain prideful of their guild. When the going gets tough, we stick together and weather it out. We’ve been an organized guild on Sanctum of Rall since January 2013 and we intend to stay on this server.

-> We range from college students to retirees, where we aim to not make anybody feel like outcasts due to their age, race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, etc. A welcoming atmosphere is the best atmosphere in my opinion.

Other than that, we’re a very open guild with open friendly people so if you have questions, feel free to reach out to me in game and we can discuss your future in HL!

In this match-up thread I see all this come out and play stuff. lol When we do come out and play SBI zerg balls need to number in the 80-100 range. We have wiped your big guilds up and down the maps constantly. Your answer? The funny part about it is your server wouldn’t hold a candle to servers with equal numbers. Even completely outnumbering an opposing server you get wiped. How can you brag about that? Sorry but it seems to me SBI will fall once again when you realize your numbers don’t mean anything when you are teamed against skilled servers with equal numbers. The two large SEA zergs were always MERC and ATM/FOO. Now that MERC bandwagoned to JQ, that SEA is stacked. Wont be too entertaining for either of us.
