So many options missing for guilds, makes is really challenging to lead a guild with no tools.

to add another thing, please stop mail message suppression.
At least take it off for guild member to guild member mail.
I tried to send candy to many guild members for halloween and after sending 3 sent mails, i get: “Your message was suppressed due to excessive messaging”
Don’t punish the player for gold spammers, this is a huge inconvenience for players.

and tell me again why there is no follow option when this continues to go on?

I’m pretty annoyed right now.
I am trying to send each guild member some food for Halloween.
and its taking me over an hour due to this STUPID thing.

Can’t you take this option that i suppose is supposed to prevent mail spamming OFF for inner guild mail?

Another member tried to mail crafting ingredients to her BF, tons of left over cooking ingredients, and it took her almost an hour, what could have taken her 5 mins.

I don’t feel players should be punished or prevented from doing simple things for fear of gold spammers.

For example….we don’t have a follow option because the word i got was that it discourages people botting.
Well I saw at least 2 different people botting this week, so tell me how preventing this option works for the botting exactly?!?!

Please do not put so many measures to prevent gold spammers and botting that you punish the player. I am the one being inconvenienced when I play and paid for this game.

We have a good amount of couples and husband and wife teams in our guild.

many in guild don’t like having to form multiple 5 people parties for WvW. Not to mention, we don’t have any members who can do the ridiculous 100G commander badge thing,

Hi there, Thanks for your interest. We aren’t trying to fill up our roster and have 100’s of people, just active players. We have about 50 to 60 active players at the moment.
We will close accepting applications once we reach about 75 to 100, because we want a guild where people have time to get to know each other and don’t feel lost in the crowd. Many of us in central to eastern time zone, though we have a handful in pacific (even a few in Australia). We don’t have a time zone specific guild, because we feel including all time zones make many people to play with at different times of the evening and day. Yes!!! many of our guild members get frustrated we cannot be in a larger group than 5, does not encourage participation nor does it make it easy to follow guild.
I think this is why some guilds “tax” guild members for WvW participation.

Promotes community within a guild, let guild members have 12 or 24 in a group at least! PLEASE!

It is really difficult to run a guild without some of the above options.
Officer chat is desperately needed.

In other games under your charcter option you had option to “Auto Decline Duels” so you never had to see the request. A few friends always had this option toggled “ON” and whenever a few us wanted to have fun, they would toggle it off.

Guild Suggestions:
-Ability to send Guild Wide Mail
-Ability to send Officer Mail
-A Chat channel for Guild officers
-a Log in or log off indication in guild chat of members
-Message of the day being auto posted in guild chat upon log in.
-A last log in time for guild members in roster
-List of other guilds your members are representing or members of.

Fildy…
Wardrobe function gives you a tab to equip items for show without stats, stuff you have already worn for your class in past.

and…Ability to highlight and copy chat (to copy links and paste in browser)
Is being able to highlight any chat in your chat box and copy it to your own clipboard.

I can copy stuff from Word or a website and Cntrol+V it in chat all day long, thats what gold spammers do, or just send you mail. I’m talking about the function of players being able to highlight chat, any chat in chat box anc copy it.

We used to have so much fun in my old guild linking funny videos to each other in chat, it wasn’t a URL link, just text we could copy and then paste in our browser window.

Also an officer only chat channel. The other night we had a problem that officers needed to communicate about ASAP, and had to log into our guildlaunch site and use chat there. /facepalm

People who are in other guilds and don’t represent us 90% of the time remain as recruits and have no guild bank access. We want to reward guild loyalty
You may ask, “where are these people the other 10% of the time?”
Some have guilds just for storage, some have co-worker guilds they like to pop into to say hi or ask to run something.

As someone who helps run a guild, I would like to know what other guilds members are in. I think the multi-guild system is kinda lame. It would be better for people to be able to make alts and put them in the guild of their choice. Alliances are one thing, guilds are another.
Some of this could be avoided by the ability to make custom chat channels for groups of people. Now people feel the need to represent multiple guilds, which i think spreads members too thin and makes many unavailable to really get to know the people they are in guild with, if they popping in and out of guilds all the time.

I was not talking about friends notifications upon log in and out, I was talking about guild people logging in and out. And notification on chat box of it. It’s nice to say hello to people upon them logging on in guild.
And I saw no chat options for friend notification for logging in and out you speak of. Besides a click I never pay attention to. In other games I had “Your friend Bob had come online”

I have never seen anyone with a title over their name in game yet.

If ready check is implemented in game, a transfer leadership option is useful, also to be able for only leader to target mobs in raids. As in PUG’s some people randomly like to target crap that doesn’t need to be targeted.

In other games, there was an option to remain “ANON” so no one could inspect you. It’s a nice option to have if you can ask a guild member to allow inspection so you can see what they have on to craft them better stuff, afterward…guess what? they can toggle inspection OFF.

I have played a game with /slap and many others. Seems like people are too paranoid about people abusing things. It was never a problem in LOTRO. Also after spamming an emote 5X emotes were disabled for a few minutes.
But /facepalm was always my favorite

Though I totally respect the guild’s mission, and respect their wishes for this type of environment… as a woman, and a woman who helps run a guild, we have a code of conduct policy that simply states any political, religious, gender based, or LGBT jokes or offensive statements or behavior towards those are absolutely not tolerated.
It’s non-negotiable. Period.
I think the best way to deal with behavior like you described, that led you to make your guild, is not to isolate, but to spread and educate your message outside your guild.
In everyday life, I have to hold my own, speak up, be an example. I don’t take crap from anyone, I can hold my own. If I get treated a certain way (which is rarely because I put the slap down to attitudes the minute it seemingly is going that way) I lead by example, voice my expectations, put the good ole block/ignore on people who cross my personal boundaries.
My point is, your huge collective of sisters, in my opinion, could do a lot more good by spreading this message by infiltrating and playing with other guilds and people than isolating, and segregating yourselves.
Woman have not got where they have in the past 100 years by segregating themselves.
I feel this furthers and perpetuates the very idea your trying to avoid… the notion that that women have to be treated differently, so they congregate to “safe” place.
My personal space/guild is always safe, because I demand it be that way.
I respect and admire the environment your trying to create, for some woman it’s probably perfect for them.
I just think the more strong woman hanging out amongst many guilds and groups help spread this message to many others who actually could benefit from it.
