I find it quite annoying to hear a NPC yelling at me loudly over and over and over again when I am in an area…repeating the same thing over and over and over again.

I left one area in the Lost Shores by jumping puzzle because I literally could not stand the “HEY OVER HERE” dialogue 150 times while I was in that area.

Even after I went and killed his stupid shark, he still wouldn’t shut up.

Can’t there be a special icon or something over their head, the repeated dialogue is so annoying, not to mention the dude outside the FotM entrance in LA as well.

Never wanted a /slap emote so badly in my life.

Please tell me how a person who runs a guild is supposed to know if a member has logged on at all in months? Not to kick them, but to evaluate if they are playing at all. Also how in the world are we supposed to communicate with all members on anything? I almost harass my members to check our guild website, but to not all do on a regular basis. I agree with poster above, takes hours to send all members mail with this stupid anti-spam mail function. At least disable it within a guild.

Need ability to send Officer Mail, Guild Mail, and Officer chat channel, last log in time, BASICS PLEASE!!!

Hmm, good suggestions, but I’ll pick a few I’d rather not have:

-Log in/off indications in guild chat for guild members. Large guild => impossible to follow the guildchat. Besides, if they don’t log in and say “hi” they probably didn’t want to talk with the guild anyways.

-Last log in time for guild members in roster. This has been suggested already, it kinda was in one of the BWE’s (for friendlist) and frankly, it causes same sort of alienation as inspect gear does, just at more permanent level. (In GW1, I got kicked every time I had a summer vacation, even if I was active 300 days a year, just because some officer didn’t get the vacation notification.)
I get it would be good for guild leaders tho, and if it is to be added, only guild leader should see the last log in tab.

-List of other guilds your members are representing. No. You need that information for… Nothing. And frankly, thats just invading your members privacy.

-Transfer Leadership option. Wait, we didn’t have party leaders in the first place? Anyone can invite, any two can kick.

-More party. You can already have 15 players for events and such in one squad.

-Be able to inspect. No. Much for the same reasons as stated before in this thread.

-Ability to change appearance. You can, just use gems.

-Inspect players excluding those who don’t want to. Doesn’t help at all, it’s still inspect player, and if its possible, it will be made requirement for dungeons.

-Ability to wear a title. You can wear a title, but the other player needs to click your character and check your name to see it. I’d love to make titles more visible tho.

-Target assist window. No. This falls into same category as player inspect, only with a slight delay. You can already call targets anyways.

I must agree with everything OP suggested. I was crying out for ‘last seen online’ option in guild panel 2 months ago. I was being patient, but guild panel hasn’t been improved since BWE1, which is sad.. It’s very hard to manage 500 people without enough info and options in guild panel.
Arena net should make this a priority, after-all guilds are the main social system in the game!

Long time friend and Guild Leader got banned for apparently someone hacking his account. He is still awaiting an answer. He had 4 max level characters and crafting, Hope they take priority to some of these accounts that got compromised.

Role Players LOVE emotes.
In LOTRO, we would sync emotes in a party to dance or to play music, it was so much fun.

Please fix message suppression within guild mail. As a co-leader I cannot effectively send out guild special event announcements when GW2 does noe offer a guild mail option, I have to paste info in a mail to each guild member. After 2 mails sent the message suppression kicks in and makes me wait 2 mins between mail. If I have to send out 80 mails..
this equals about an hour and a half just trying to communicate with all guild members on a guild event be sending each member a inner game mail.

If you are looking for a laid back guild free of mindless childish chatter who offer some dry humorous antidotes to escape the daily real life grind then our guild is for you. We are real life adults (certified!), we are experienced gamers, with professions, real life obligations outside the game. We don’t equate real life self esteem with how much we can crit in a dungeon, though we pride ourselves on our mad skills
We don’t try to add add quantity to our roster, only quality people.

“Moonies” are not required to spend any “set” amount of time in game. Log in when you feel like it. Once in, spend your time doing what is fun for you. If you like dungeons and pvp, enjoy! If those things are not your cup of tea, by all means, don’t do them! Keep your money! We will not “tax” you or ask you to contribute real life or game cash for anything. Ever. In a few games I have played games like (LOTRO) there is an “Anonymous” option on character panel where you can toggle it OFF where no one can inspect you, and if you wish to toggle it off for a friend to inspect your gear you can uncheck this option, takes all of 2 secs.

After the friend or guild member is done inspecting you (possibly to see if they can make you any better gear) you can very easily, check “Anonymous” again so no one can see your gear at all.

WHY IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?

If a person doesn’t want to be inspected no one can, if they WANT to allow someone to inspect them, SO be it, it can be done!

Variety and options is the spice of life! Then you can please people who want it and people who don’t.
Simple. Not rocket science.
