I think it would be a good gem shop item (800 gems?) that allows you to undo a skin you have previously used.

For example I have a Ghastly Shield on a character I no longer use and thus it would be beneficial to sell it again considering it costs about 150g now.

I think that is definitely an item that would be bought a lot.

People sure like having pve in pvp

It should stay so why? Because you play mesmer and don’t want to loose the necessity of having one in every spvp team? Stop being selfish.

Is because people are using it on single-target encounters too…

They’re not going to leave the single-target damage the same.

That is like, the entire point of the change.

No that is not the reason they’re nerfing aoe. The reason was that it is impossible to ress someone in spvp, because of the dmg cluster bomb spam, dancing dagger, wells, etc. do.

Hopefully there will be some other servers coming up to t1-t2 soon, because now with Arbor dying Elona and Deso will most likely constantly switch between tier 1 and the weak tier 2

Just because aoe get’s nerfed doesn’t mean your aoe skills will be weaker against 1 target. Simply means that for every target hit there is a 20% decrease in dmg. I also doubt that conditions aoe will get nerfed, thus bomb kit stays uneffected.

If anything this is a bigger nerf to mesmer (shatter) and warrior (useless in spvp then).

All in all everyone should probably wait before making silly assumptions to a yet unreleased update.

Some classes, such as the Ele, are almost completely AoE, so a nerf to AoE would just be a straight nerf across the board to them. I don’t want to be stuck on a #1 auto attack as my only true damage attack.

Huh? It would simply mean that dragon’s tooth for example does 100% dmg against the player you targeted and for each aditional target it hits it does for example 25% less dmg.

This was an issue brought up by spvp players and a very valid one at that. Currently it is impossible to ress an ally with the amount of dmg wells, cluster bomb, etc. do and thus aoe dmg should be lowered a bit.

I don’t understand why people seem to think this encourages zerging? Currently when 2 zergs match each other they spam as much aoe and invulnerability spells they have, so nerfing this might actually make it so people have to choose a target and can’t just spamm 1 and move forward.

Against a zerg you’re not going to do kitten with how the aoe currently is anyway, so why complain about a much needed change.

Well if you don’t like guardian or warrior you’re screwed, because it’s impossible to play anything other than a #1 masher with this much delay everywhere.

Always great fun running with IRON on reset. Unfortunately due to exams I can’t play much. Hopefully we’ll still be in tier 1 in februari!

After playing Asura I honestly can’t play any other race due to their slow animations, kittenty looking jump and jump-dodges. I’ve removed two 50+ sylvari’s and humans for this reason.

That’s not true at all. In hot join, yes ppl will just go around flipping points to get most glory. But in tournaments it is all about the fights. Killing just 1 person will make the game 5vs4 for 15 secs, which is a huge advantage when taking points.

They should add another set of titles imo. I don’t mind that these take insanely long, but something like ‘Dominator’ as a step up to ‘Ultimate Dominator’ would be nice.

I never liked grenades and therefor never use them and I do fine in WvW and Spvp. I’m not a pve player, so I’m not sure what our current state is like in there.

Puzzles etc make this dungeon amazing imo.

Desolation will still be in tier 1 next week unfortunately. Tier 1 eu is pretty much locked dead now, no point in playing there.

What RUIN did is indeed very sad, but most guilds on Blacktide have no reason to complain considering they left Far Shiverspeaks for roughly the same reasons.
