That night was equally epic, that bay was under siege for what…. 4 hours that night?!?! was pretty amazing it held.

After an unfortunate scouting error, we missed the Golem push on our way-pointed Bay by Tarnished Coast who managed to get through to the inner gates before we could even get there. The following video is the result of our response.

Yeah, about the only type I’d actually get hyped over a wvw season/tournament would be when the matches are actually balanced, when all servers have the same population (not necessarily time zone coverage). As is it now, I hate it, and will never get hyped up on a season/tournament.

Well, at the very least we hope you guys get some good fun in, regardless of scores <3

TC have been going hard, and certainly offer a new dynamic to the match-up, indiscriminately hitting what ever the heck they want.
TC map politics aren’t like the old BG/SoR/JQ match ups that’s for sure!

We had a member transfer to EU for a while to check out the WvW scene, and take his WvW experience to the next level.

He agreed with all the above statements, latency wasn’t as clean as on the NA servers, and the oceanic time zone was fairly dead.

TC being in T1 now =‘s I’m not excited about anything in ZvZvZ. Shooting bad players in the back as they run away to try to find friends is boring as all kitten (the life of a roamer in T1). I’ll do the meta for the rewards and then go back to PvP (presuming they fix the rewards, if not just meta and log in for daily).

Sorry to hear that Aberrant <3 Free transfers are available? Perhaps they can offer you what you’re looking for in the game.

Edit: Also Bloodlust will be absolutely critical during league… perhaps you can find more competition in the nodes. Of course it will get zerged from time to time, but has potential to be a roamers playground. Anyway hope you find your place to enjoy the game mate.

Hey I’m on Blackgate. Why’s it so dead now? There isn’t any PvE event crap going on. It seems every time I try to come back to this game, WvW is just dead on my server so I just quit again. Maybe my timing is off lol

BG isn’t dead but just intentionally tanking to help with recruiting. This tactic worked in season 1 so it’s getting used again. BG was able to ZD’ed a few guilds with gullible leadership to join for season 2. The server with the best overall coverage on NA servers got stronger going into season 2 than they were in season 1.

I predicted this more than 1 month ago and everything is going exactly as how I outlined in the post from a month ago.

1) Intentionally tanking before season starts to make it seem like they’re the underdogs.

2) Run propaganda on forums to make sure everyone knows they’re outmanned by every server on every time zone to help with recruitment (still couldn’t believe BG claimed to be outnumbered by SOR in EU even after SOR lost their first batch of guilds).

3) Hope that some gullible guild (cough… zds…cough) gets tricked into transferring over.

Everyone knows how much time and effort will be going into Season 2
So I suggest many of our usual Commanders, and WvW players, are taking this time to chill out, train other commanders, do some casual spvp, grind a bit of pve, etc

Currently 40-60~ active logins a day, with a core of 20-30~ logging in daily, 200~ player roster.
We have not 1 but 4 dedicated GM’s, including the guilds founder, consisting of two Aussies, and two Kiwi’s. At least two of the 4 GM’s are consistently active at any one time, with a drive to not only continue our GW2 accomplishments, but to grow one of Australasia’s largest gaming communities. The guild is further supported by our Officers who organize various PvE/Lottery/etc activities.

We are socially active both in and outside of game, with a very active website chat box, and bi-annual gatherings in Australia, most recent gathering in Melbourne – where the team even put together a real life “guild treb”!

We are a mature 21+ guild, 100% rep, with majority of our player base in AU, half a dozen Kiwi’s (including myself), and a handful of SEA buddies (mostly NA players based in South East Asia for work etc).

You know if just one or two of BG’s WvW guilds transferred to SOR or JQ (non NA for JQ, I play in Australian prime time, always outnumbered) then we would have a very interesting match up. At the moment, the winner is known before the match even resets

We are lucky to have 1 maybe 2 Commander tags across all the Borderlands (including EBG) this week in Aussie prime.
I don’t think there are any major issues for coverage in our time zone, my Oceanic friend

Was a global update made to all siege and their effects for the period of winters day.
