Really?
What do you expect to gain from this thread? Bug fixes are happening, immaturely raging is not doing anything good.
The game consists of more than just the necromancer, daily events, dungeons, fixing exploits these things have to happen as well for the better of the game.
Of course you can say and overs say “There shouldn’t be this many bugs its not beta!”
Well guess what? We have them. Nothing anyone will say will change that. There isn’t use saying its jot beta or there shouldn’t e this many bugs, because its not going to change a kitten thing. It is what it is, the sooner people realize this the better we all will be.
And if you accept it that way you are a mindless drone. If there is a problem make it public. If no one calls out arena net on their laziness, they will not do a thing about it. I would not want to wait ~8 weeks before classes actually start being balanced. Necromancer has more bugs than any other class. Balancing won’t start until class bugs are fixed. If they start fixing at the very least 10 bugs a week it will take up to 8 weeks and that’s if more bugs aren’t discovered.
The game shouldn’t have been released like this. This feels like it’s a beta. You can feel high and mighty waiting another 8 weeks thinking things will get done when they get done. Personally, I feel like they ripped me off of my preorder because the game is still feels like a beta. It’s not MY fault there are so many bugs. ArenaNet could have hosted more betas, had a beta in the higher level areas, had the forums open during beta or the initial first week (because I know for sure they didn’t even start working on the forums until a week after the official launch,) and they could listen to the comunity.
Instead, we have JonPeters who hates Necromancers and more than 80 bugs/tooltiperrors/gameplay issues with the Necromancer. At the rate of 10 bug fixes per week (and that’s if they do 10) things are going to take forever. It’s been over a month since it was officially launched and this is ridiculous.
I wish you the best of luck with your patience.

If bug fixes happen weekly and if we get generous 10 fixes a week, then it will be ~8 weeks before Arena Net begins to “balance” our class. That is rediculous. Fixing bugs shouldn’t be a weekittenhing. The game isn’t beta anymore. Fix the KITTEN KITTEN bugs!

Corrupt Boon and Blood is Power can be blocked, but Epidemic can’t. Personally I would be in favor of making them unblockable, if it wasn’t already originally w.a.i. considering they aren’t projectiles or an attack.

Honestly I think the community needs to get pasts its “I’m a necromancer, all I can do is spam conditions” mentality.
Only if Anet reworks the class. The most viable build is based on conditions. So until Anet changes this, spamming conditions means the necromancer is trying to be the best he/she can be.

It’s pretty pathetic, to be honest. I reported some of these bugs as far back as bwe1 and these same bugs were with us at launch and are still here. ArenaNet is putting forth minimum effort with fixing bugs, or bots, or gold spammers, or balance, or reworking dungeons.

Ever since the multitude of changes to dungeons, I haven’t been able to get into any groups for TA explorable mode. I’m sure this is the case for many more dungeons. There is already a thread that is complaining about not having anyone doing Story Mode.
-Reduce the rewards people will be less inclined to play.
-Hold the token rewards for the end people will be less inclined to play (especially if there are multiple wipes and people start to leave; goodbye token rewards.)
-DR drastically reduces people’s will to do dungeons (especially the bugged form of DR.)
-Difficulty and learning curve for dungeons make finding groups harder.
One of the reasons for eliminating the holy trinity is to make finding groups easier. Dungeons are an important part of end gaming (because it’s one of the few forms of end gaming gw2 has to offer) and all of these changes are making finding a group much, much harder.
Has anyone else been having trouble finding explorable mode for other dungeons? If so, what do you think the reasons are for? If not, what advice could you give that would make finding groups easier?

I’m not saying the 5% of toughness applied to power is strong; I am saying that it is the most useful because it would apply to all builds, not just MM. The other two passives only are useful when your build is MM.

I would like to know what the Necro forum thinks of the Death Magic passives. Personally I think it only has one good passive, Deadly Strength. The other two are almost useless and could be useless if you do not have a MM build.
Also, what are people opinions of the first passive, Reanimator. I find that the jagged horror is horrible. It lasts ~7 seconds with a 30 second cooldown from killing an opponent. It has horrible attack and attack speed. Along with it’s degeneration it can be killed in as little as 1 hit. I read that it can be used to rally an enemy player, too. Does anyone find this guy beneficial?
The most I made of him was in an MM build where I had the Death Nova trait – whenever a minion dies, it explodes into a cloud of poison that lasts for 3 seconds. The cloud of poison does no initial or pulse damage. It only gives the condition poison which the 3rd skill of the Staff, Chillibans, already does and does better.

As I never played GW1 I can’t really remark on this. What was it that made the GW1 Necro so great?
Not trolling, I am genuinely curious.
The title Minion Master meant something back in gw1

Banshee’s Wail doesn’t increase the duration of both Swiftness and Locus effects from the slot 5 skill. It does, however, reduce the cooldown.
I also noticed that Feast of Corruption doesn’t properly give Life Force % when you kill an enemy with it. You only gain the amount of life force from killing an enemy.
