Black Crescent was originally formed back in GW1 and was a competitive force within the GvG ladders (Anet- We Miss GVG! sniff). Here’s a match from the Guild Wars Memorial site where we beat Team Quitter [QQ] who were ranked #2 at the time!

Well, a lot of the old gang returned to play together again when GW2 came out. We upgraded our website! We got a mumble server! We went all out…but unfortunately due to short attention spans, boredom, real life, etc…some players were not able to stick around.

NSP has been having some really close and fun matches for the last several weeks. There are plenty of opportunities to form (or join) small groups to roam and like BlazeQ said there are plenty of times you can join a larger group to help take/defend an objective.

BC has been having some great turnouts lately. Join us if you are an active player and looking for a casual guild to join!

You should check us out in Northern Shiverpeaks. We have very strong players in WvW – just not the #’s to sustain being in the higher tiers anymore.

Black Crescent is recruiting again. We are a small/mid size guild with less than 50 players. We are not a WvW exclusive guild but it definitely is where we spend the majority of our time. None of us enjoy the zergfests but we will help when it counts (it doesn’t take 30 ppl to take a supply camp…).

We are a low tier server but I’m sure you would enjoy the small team action here even if BC isn’t for you.

I play a mesmer and I do jumping puzzles in wvw.

There are already ways to counter. Learn to play better instead of crying something shouldn’t be allowed.

Sorry about the misunderstanding in the fight club tonight. While I don’t endorse or condone it I think its just being kittenish to knowingly/intentionally run in and try to ruin everyone else’s fun. Play Your game Your way is my motto but I dont have time for anyone that just wants to be a plain kitten.

The guy from BC that tried charging in isn’t in the guild anymore (paxa, let me know if you want his contact info to recruit him) – the rest was all just a misunderstanding.

Is this guide/build very viable. Just curious before I read it all. I’m new to guardian but have been messing around with the AH Hammer build. I’m interested in this style too (for when I’m feeling more selfish and not so supportive) but I notice this guide is 3 months old and there was never many comments on it.

Question:
Are you primarily concerned with just the language in Teamspeak/Mumble/Vent?

The game does have a content filter in the chat dialogue so you can hide any “bad words”. That should be enough with just about any guild if you aren’t using a VOIP, right?

Possible conflict with time zone and guild size though tbh.
We are recruiting strong at the moment and starting to get more players but we are still a rather small/medium sized. Naturally with all the new players that have recently joined us, we are starting to have more of a presence during all times of day – and you could be a valuable member for our afternoon/evening players.

I was the condition thief that got you both times. My main is a mesmer too but I don’t play the same style as you. We should do it again! Your thief vs my mes or mesmer vs. mesmer.

My friends and I play wvw just about every night in NSP. We occasionally do some spvp or tpvp, a couple dungeon runs (usually CoF). Not that many of us still playing at the moment so we are starting to recruit again.
We are generally on later in the evening (8p – 1a CST).

I haven’t seen any Northern Shiverpeaks love (sorry if I missed it). Does NSP have zergs? Sure, but they are easy to avoid if you want to play your own game. My friends and I usually form small commando squads and go cause trouble away from the main fights. Great tactic to help relieve pressure from our own BL.

I think there are some exciting days to come in wvw with a lot of interesting matches ahead because of all of these last minute server transfers. Honestly, any of the “lower tiers” will probably offer the same play style but it sounds like you play the same time we do so think about NSP. Hit me up in game if you like.

Every now and then I see player’s post in different forums mentioning changes they think are coming up in “the Feb patch” or even just “the next patch”.

I keep coming in here looking for these previews but never see them. I want to know what is changing too! I know everything posted by other players in these forums is 100% accurate but I’d still like to look over these patch notes myself (before they are released).

Where are they seeing this?
Are they just piecing together dev comments from replies in different topics?
