NSP has a very competitive core of WvW players. There are a good number that fight for the PPT but there are several guilds that prefer to just roam and create trouble in other areas/bls while the nsp zerg tries to push somewhere else. Or we’re just roaming looking for fights for the fights

I’m sure there are good roamers in all tiers but from my experience on Northern Shiverpeaks (currently t16), I can honestly say that the general skill level of our wvw player base is higher than the average skill level of the opponents that we most often face. I’m not saying that the players on other servers we face are ALL bad or “all the other guys do is zerg us waaa” so don’t start getting all kitten y. I’m just saying that players on our tier, and specifically NSP, are tough and we have a good number of respected roamers.

Been noticing a lot of “Looking for new server for WvW” type posts.

Yo Dawg, I heard you like to search so I did a search on Search. But it didn’t search. At all.

Can we get back to hack accusations, complaining about coverage, and conspiracy theories? This thread is really boring me.

I heard YB wants an alliance with NSP for the rest of the week and all the good guilds on SBI are transferring to NSP on Friday and everyone in WvW will get a pony, a BB gun, and two tickets to iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas..Sucks for everyone not on NSP!

I see a lot of suggestions to just “transfer to another server” but, since it’s no longer free, who wants to transfer to a new server and discover the grass wasn’t greener or find out their new home is full of kittens and wvw just isn’t fun?

Been a really fun match though. My guild and I typically play between 9pm-1am CST and have been having such a blast this week charging into larger groups of hod/ioj screaming in Team chat “They break easy! Go!!”.

To be honest, there have been a few matchups that made us sad pandas and say “we should have had that”. But your zergs are bad and your commanders should feel bad.

I notice you generally have the same core skills in all of your builds (portal, decoy, blink, mass invis). I occasionally replace portal with feedback or null field. I’m thinking I may start swapping sig of inspiration in there every now and then too.

I know it is really depends on the situation, but which skill do you find is the most comfortable to replace with one of these other ones when you are running around?

*edit: just saw "portal nullfield and " share the boons" signet"
wow – I know you like portal but replacing decoy & blink for nullfield & sig of inspiration seems like it would really cripple all of that mobility I’m so use to having.

I think it’s fair to say Ioj didn’t appear to focus on NSP as much as they did last week. Doesn’t matter if it was because of an alliance, truce, Dh was the bigger threat, Dragon Bash week was ending, whatever…It’s only fair to recognize they hit us harder last week than they did this match.

Oh and I played more this week

Would things have been different if they had? Would everyone have had as much fun? dunno but someone else will surely nerd-rage here in a second and say “We totally could have would have should have kicked the kitten out of lame ol’ NSP’s kitten” so whatever.

Anet has a sick sense of humor so we’ll probably see you again in a few hours vs Bp. Will Ioj have the same strategy since Bp is the “bigger threat”?

Thanks Gavin. Dh can be pretty kitten sneaky. And both Dh and Ioj have the numbers/coverage on us. I know NSP can field some numbers out there too but the overall wvw participation throughout the entire week just isn’t the same. This was a fun week and nice coming in first but NSP is a tough server and I’m proud of how well we consistently fight with or without any type of alliance/truce.

Our WvW Rating has gone Up for the past FIVE weeks in a row!
This week we are the Only server between ranks 15-22 who’s rating is going Up.

Match is really close but since Thursday’s are always Fight Night I recommend Dh and Ioj have fight night in Ioj borderland. Use the entire map as the arena. Zerg it out. Siege encouraged.

Why is NSP so awesome?
