This way, 1-9 mapped to 4-12 feels the same as it would be like a phone pad, easy to remember. My thumb naturally falls on 4-6, and 10-12 I press with the middle of my thumb.
Nice to see it’s used in so many different ways.

The skirt is the newbie armor.
@ BrazenNL: he means use the chill to protect the bleed from getting cleansed off.
Yeah, what threw me off was switch to earth to apply a cripple. Had me going through traits to see how I could get a spell from attuning. Prolly meant a dodge roll from Evasive Arcana.
Thanks!
>Initiate with Air 4 (RoTL), and then Air 5 (updraft). Use air 3. Switch to fire, use fire 3 followed by fire 4, then fire 5, and then fire 2. Use arcane blast in Ring of Fire (fire 4 skill), and switch to earth to apply a cripple (cover condition for fire) and cast earth 4 followed by earth 2. Cast earth 5, enemy should be running away by now, then use lightning flash as its ending to his position. Switch to water, cast Water 4 , water 3 (to slow him and cover condition the bleed), water 1 (cover condition), and water 2 in order. Cast water 5 and utility 6 if needed. Switch to air, finish them off with air4, air2, and air1.
What do you mean by cover condition?
What’s been bugging me for quite some time now, is that in your personal story, when you have done the main objective and all that’s left to do is escape, you have to actively seek out all enemy NPCs before the escape will actually trigger.
When the storyline is at the step Escape, why can’t you just be done with it when you reach the green escape star? It is so irritating having to go back and search for enemy NPCs when you’ve already accomplished all the steps.
Last time this happened to me was in The Stone Sheath. Find a scabbard, go to the escape point. Got the scabbard after killing some NPCs, then the active step turned into escape. Went to the green star, didn’t encounter any hostiles, and lo and behold, the story did not want to finish …
The areas we play in are large, and sometimes even huge. There are no fixed routes.

Has this been fixed? I did a search on the patch notes* but didn’t see any mention of it.
I feel your pain about the warden, man. So bad that I started a mesmer yet again and started with focus from the beginning. Believe me, if you stick to it, and practice in areas with lots of targets where you can intentionally swamp yourself, you will get better at it. There is no shame in dying in your practice area, you can only get better if you persist.
The only thing is, whenever I use Into the Void, I kinda feel guilty for pulling the enemies from everyone …
E: If you go into the mists and go to the area that has lots of practice golems, you can nicely test what Into the Void does in relation to its placement (middle of a group, to a side of a group, how far will it pull).

I even posted in the “List of bugged abilities and traits” thread, wondering why this isn’t in there. I hoped it would get more exposure there.
Why isn’t failed teleporting (like Phase Retreat or the swap on Ìllusionary Leap) not on the known issues list? I transport into trees or some sort of under water experience (except, I can’t surface) on a daily basis.
Like the poster on the first page said: You’re effectively screwed until you die by AoE or the battle somehow ends.
nvm, relogging fixed it …
Also, when I hover over, say, a tree that drops that I can farm, it doesn’t light up anymore.
I used to get all sorts of info top center of the screen when selecting or engaging something. Now, I don’t see the name, profession, health, buffs, conditions anymore. Did I inadvertently change something?
