We have enough people in EBG at the moment to defend almost anything, but not enough to siege SMC, your towers and keeps. Can you please come out of your towers and fight us in the open field? I hear FA drops a lot of precursors.

I think the problem was fixed. I am now able to re-install GW2. I did not change any of my settings. Let’s wait and see. =/

Don’t uninstall. I did, and now it won’t even re install since for whatever reason I am still connected to client and can’t have 2 games open. This is messed up and I don’t know what to do. I may have to reboot my computer…..

I hope to see you guys tomorrow, but only if there is another server who will help us push you guys. Last time, that was not really the case.

Folks, do not listen to Renxian. If he was serious about helping FA, he would not be posting here stirring things up. He would post in FA forums. Haters will hate. But I will address a few things.

1. FA is reaching out to PvE guilds to get more WvW involvement. All servers should.
2. Of course our WvW leaders squabble. Why wouldn’t we at times? We are all trying to win, and there will obviously be some disagreement. That does not mean we dislike each other as the poster would have you think. In fact, we meet to get better coordination, and plan our strategies for the upcoming week (although we rarely stick to the plan, we are all free spirits here ). Btw, there are private conversations and planning that a regular roamer, such as the poster, would not know anything about.
3. Nobody trolls on Teamspeak. I have never seen anybody troll on Teamspeak. I have however, seen troll commanders try to steal militia from the real commanders that are on Teamspeak. I guess that’s what was meant by commanders tagging on for no reason, but I imagine every servers has those people. Either way, people on Teamspeak know not to follow those commanders. We all know who they are.

For my closing statement, I would like to say that FA WvW is a tight community. In every community, group, or society, there will be an oddball, but 98% of FA is on board with each other, and works great together.

Swiftness for several people, Empower, and Line of Warding. Who ever told you staff is anything but great in WvW may not understand how to play guardian very well.

Also, you probably do not want use use staff during the initial push in a zerg v. zerg. You should switch to your Hammer, or Greatsword, as soon as you are about to hit them head on. Switch to staff only once the enemy is down.

A bunch of FA got into that same keep using north gate in the same keep when PvDooring. We told ppl to jump out, but I don’t know if all of them did. A lot of militia with us.

Just got my 250 Silver Doubloons, and I still need a lot of Molten Lodestones. The really hard part (precursor, doubloons, lodestones) is almost over.

Never wanted a Legendary, but I got the precursor off a drop and decided “hey, if I don’t do this I will regret it.”

Please give players a way to mute spammers.

That sounds good too. Just something to mute trolls and spammers. I don’t care how. I just don’t want to listen to those instruments every time I use the bank or trading post.

Dear Anet,

Please stop giving trolls more instruments and tools to troll us with. The bells were terrible, and extremely annoying, and now there are players running around with vuvuzelas in Lions Arch. They are just as bad, if not worse.

While this is a complaint, I do not want to sound whinny. And I know you will continue to release these instruments of trollage. So it is my humble request that you add a way to mute players who keep blasting their instruments.

I do not wish to mute my game every time I am chatting with somebody in game and some jerk starts playing the horn or bells. And I do not want to mute all players either. Earlier somebody was playing the American National Anthem on the horn. I though that was pretty cool. And then somebody kept playing the same note for 15 minutes next to him. That was really uncool.

So please, look into this in the future before you release another instrument. They can be quite unpleasant.

I don’t think Anet does on purpose, but I can tell you why players dislike Maguuma.

1. All the crying.
2. All the excuse making.
3. All the excuse making, while calling guilds out.
4. All the excuse making, while calling servers out for getting transfers/having better coverage.
5. All the excuse making, while Maguuma E-thugs actually send players mail talking and calling players out.

Well, they made changes to ectos. When do you guys think they will change Silver Doubloons?

I guess it doesn’t matter much for me now, since I’m almost done collecting them. I’ll be so sad when their prices drop right after I spend 150+ gold getting my pile.

We need you guys back to help us 2v1 SoR. SoS & TC don’t quite have the same “understanding” in that regard.

Obviously SoS and TC haven’t completed the “I hate your guts” period of our relationship.

Whoa, nobody wants to 2v1 anybody. I guess it seemed that way these past couple of weeks because we got tired of fighting, and we wanted to see other people. But it was still nice to see you guys on the other third of the map, just in case we wanted to fight you. But it is still good to get break.

But in this match up, most of us actually like Ebay. Maguuma though, is just full of e-thugs straight up calling guilds out. I guess we just understood each other in the end.

This has nothing to do with wvw participation. During NA prime time our servers are fairly even. Just saying you have a huge group mentality. The big elephant in this room is you have more SEA/Oceanic coverage which is where your “greater WvW participation” occurs, I’d say compared to DB we are holding up much better against it(but I hate to even mention that because it turns into a cesspool of hate/crying so that is as far as I’ll go with that).

Not to disrespect the FA that do run by themselves and in small groups. I’d just love to run into more of you guys. Since this match-up is going to FA, barring some miracle, it would be great to run into more 1v1 or 2v1’s from FA.

And are you insinuating I have Mad Cow disease?

I ’m really frustrated/baffled with FA wvw participation honestly

it’s weird to throw up a tag and have 80 people standing on top of me, more than half of whom I’ve never seen before. I’m 99.99% sure we didn’t randomly transfer in half of our wvw pop so where were these guys, and why are they running glass?

We’ve been green for 2 weeks now. We’re winning this match up. For better or worse, PvE’ers are coming to WvW. We sure didn’t have these numbers when we faced TC, KN, or DB. Maybe if they stay they will learn something.

As the commander during that, we built a total of 6 ACs. We had no supply most of the time. Of the four times we wiped you, only once was it with AC support.

I hope EB and Mag are not disapointed in FA. Due to our relatively one sided match up, we are getting a lot of roamers and non-WvW players (for better or worse) who do not coordinate well with the main militia, which is keeping of the regular WvW’ers from getting in due to queues and some of the mainstream commanders away.

And I can tell you that a lot of FA, including myself, are very impressed with Rekz and some of the other guilds we have faced, and we are just trolling you guys. I haven’t really faced Mag a lot yet, but it is still just the weekend.

And yes, we are going to roll over your borderlands while you are sleeping. We have the man power for that. =P

And keep in mind. We have a lot of trolls who do not represent or speak for the server.

Wow, all this crying. What part of Gift of Mastery, as in you have mastered every aspect of the game, did you not get? And it doesn’t even require you to master anything, only understand, since the materials for this gift are extremely easy.

And it’s not even hard. I played reset last night, and I started with 4 badges. By the time I logged off I had over 160.That’s one long session, but no longer than running several dungeons.

Now, I dislike dungeon, but I need 500 tokens from one to get my gift of whatever. So what then? Should I cry here, and ask the developers to lower the number of tokens required too?

For those who do not know yet, Fort-Aspenwood lost VK and BT last week. Two prominent WvW guilds in our server. How did we respond? Were pushed TC for first place in T2 over the weekend until that siege bug hit, and TC ran over us with their massive zergs. We are still in second though. Came back strong as ever. Our server is stable, competitive, and is going to stay in T2.

FA is still looking for more people to join us and help with coverage. Just bring a fighting attitude, and bag slots.

How many WvW players are we talking about? 15, 30, 50? And how many would actually transfer?

In FA we have a stable community, but we need more coverage. Lets say RE comes to FA. Considering you have already transferred servers, and are now considering transferring again, what would keep you from transferring out of FA if we drop to tier 3? That is, why are you transferring?

As of right now, we are honestly unsure of which server/tier that we want to go. Obviously because of how passionate many of our members are about WvW, we want to maximize our enjoyment of WvW, but it does not mean we are looking into t1/t2 only. However, I personally believe that competitive & fun WvW matches can occur in other tiers as well, especially, with this new matchup system which we are very excited to see.

Like I said in the first post, we currently have more than 350 members. The daily RE WvW time we would have ~40 players in our zerg, more on reset. We always have players in WvW during the rest of the day, although it gets slower outside of our primetime. It is hard to estimate but I would say at least 80% of our active members play WvW. Of course some are more WvW oriented than others. I can’t predict how many are transferring but our main goal is to do everything we can to maintain the unity of our guild. None of us want to lose our friends during this process.

Tbh, forum posting makes me anxious :P (I think this is my 3rd post ever on the forum). I made this post for RE but Ethersin and other officers are checking it more regularly than I am. I personally do not want to discuss why we are transferring on this post because I would really like everyone to focus on the main purpose: informing others about who we are and what we want in the future. However, since now we have invited leaders from several severs to our TS today to get to know us better, any questions regarding our decisions will be answered then. If you are interested in joining us during that meeting, please contact Ethersin or myself in game to get more details.

I cannot speak for T1, or other T2 servers, but I believe T2 is a blast. I am from FA, and we love the fact that we do not have as much coverage as other T2 servers. The other two servers occasionally bring out 80 men zergs and run over everything in the map. I know they are having fun, and so are we when we have to defend (sometimes).

Also, in FA we rarely have a queue. Only in reset night.

Good idea. Maybe add a checkbox on the guild ranking option that permits certain ranks to be able to activate guild mission.

1. We are not a bandwagon server because we don’t want an influx of guilds with aspirations to go to tier one. We simply would like a couple of small/medium size guilds to help us with overall coverage. Or one large guild with multiple coverage.
2.We are outnumbered by our opponents and want more people because we do not have enough people to coordinate.
3. We want hardplayers WvW, but not hardcore enough where you will cause feuds with other players because their guild/group could not take/defend a tower. It’s a videogame, and we realize that.
4. I don’t know what love yourself is, but I imagine it was a joke. However, as I said, we do not want feuds, or squabbles between commanders/guilds. That is, we don’t want a guild who thinks it will come in and boss other guilds around.
5. This means that if you don’t like the post, leave the page, and don’t leave negative comments.

Not a single built oil over a gate can be used. You cannot interact with any of them at all.

We’re you guys able to get ANY skills off? Literally, everybody in our server had Terrible lag. We couldn’t use any skills except 1. Yet, we saw a lot of walls by either TC or DB. A lot of people in FA rage quit because of that.

Nevertheless, I was frustrated but had fun.

I would like to ask everybody in FA to not partake in inappropriate arguments and/or trash talking in these forums. We are suppose to be older and more mature than TC and DB after all (we’re a bunch of old people in FA apparently).

I think DB is trying to challenge themselves. They are trying to be in last by Tuesday, so they can make a mad comeback by Thursday night.

There was some complain about disconnections in FA bl a few days ago. And I’ve disconnected 5 times and lagged a lot more just tonight. Not even during fights. And I rarely disconnected.
I can’t say its the patch because I haven’t played wvw much since the update (because the AC buff made WvW a lot less fun).
