If you guard a player in a guild rush or run yourself for the chest you interfered with it.

Oh sorry, I just got the impression you ment that you only maliciously interfered with the missions which I know from previous experionces can be very hard if the people in the guild dont know what to do

If 1 guild declared war against another one then they can kill members of eachother’s guilds in PvE exept in dungeons/fractals and big cities(safe zones)One problem. There’s WvW for that, and even include Open world PvP Anet would have to make a PvP only server which makes the mega servers useless because the main purpose of the Megaserver in the first place was to put players from different instances of the same server into one map, not strip that away because a group wants to GvG in Queensdale.
Kinda goes back to me stating that open world has problems and that there is wvw for an alternative

Sounds like a funny new Guild-Mission to me.
And if you personally don’t like it, you can easily avoid being involved: Do not represent the guild while it is at war. (but you should only be able to change that while in a save place or during login)
There are three problems with opt-in GvG that takes place in the open world:
- We will still see griefing, spamming, other sorts of verbal ‘abuse’ — that’s the nature of some of the personalities that enjoy PvP. Just enough will step over the line to make it unpleasant for those who just want to PvE.
- It will take massive design/coding changes to allow PvP in the current open world, which has no provision for it. The smallest issue: some skills are differently balanced in PvP — how do those get handled in open world PvP?
- It will take some design/coding changes to enable the challenge system and ANet won’t get it right the first two times (more because it’s the nature of these things to evolve with the game, a little because ANet often socks [sic] in UI, especially for something like this. Source: LFG tool).
So, while I’m not against the concept of guilds challenging guilds for dominance, I don’t think it’s going to be good for the community to sacrifice the required dev/design time to make this happen.
tl;dr there’s a good idea somewhere here, but the original proposal is almost certainly too costly to be considered as posted.

kitten your a downer I mean really, kitten , prob only seeing the bad things in everything, the reason open world pvp worked in WoW is because it was so massive and every race had its own starting place and own areas where they couldve lved, thats beside the point is that I doubt you’ll get 20 mails a day from other guilds to challenge your’s, that it itself is just laughable, also, peopled that dont want to participate can declare themselves at the start as neutral.

Well, I say that like if you have someone in your friendlist but the friend’s server is against yours then you cant contect him while he is in WvW as well as it just says WvW in the friendlist, so just take that mechanic for the GvG.
And what you mentioned about people harrassing you in lower lv, all you do is get a friend in the guild to come kill him or divert him to another location using deception.
You must admit that WoW’s open world pvp was very good, like if you flew into a goblin port with your human then they will kill you and kill you fast.
WoW players would get this: I took my lv 90 worg war and flew other the wall with my priffin to the tauren’s starting area and killed all the tauren; including the higher lv gaurds/wardens, and espesialy the new tauren players and no one could stop me MOHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!
I understood it as being able to max out up to three instead of up to two.
Was there a little thing about that I missed?

Like say you want equip all your condi armor and weapons, then you can make an pre-made set of your 3-4 weapons and your 7 armor pieces and when you want to use it just select your condi set, almost like organizing everything into folders

I went to solo cap a camp (the most southest one with the barn thing and a big open flat area) with my powerranger, was just fooling around so I used all the abilities I have to increase the burst, was in the middle of the flat area to finish off the last scout, used 2# and it said there was something in the way…. but there was nothing o_o
Well what I’d like to know from the devs are, why do you hate us like really, just why? ;_; Just give us the kitten bonny ears! Cat ears would also be cool or dog ears as well as, can I dual one of you?
But ofc pvp isnt near the best way to purely get gold, best would be dungeons or sw farm
I was refering to GM purposes, like if a random pack of wolves attacked the GM in one of the keeps in WvW then he’ll need good gear to kill them off and mostly to just look cool while he is being eaten by the wolves and me just sitting on the wall and watching how his own creations is killing him :P

Sure some play the game........barely.
I’ve seen plenty of dev’s running around and I’ve even made it a point to kill a few in WVW.
1. Any dev you see is geared like a day 1 noob. They make account and occasionally hop on. They do not actually "play" the game.
2. The dev’s I have killed in WVW seemed to have no idea what their buttons did.
3. They have kids and mortgages.
Sure some devs do log on from time to time but none of them actually play the game. If anything I’d bet many of them play DOTA 2 since that seems to be the popular game for game devs to buddy up with.
I’m sure there’s at least a couple of employees though that do actually play. Just not 99% of them.
I would’ve trolled them so badly XD, on a lv where they’ll go away, use their dev status to instantly make an war with the best gear in the game, ascended gear and all + legendary weapons. With all that, to try to hunt me down, but he would never get me with my theeeeeeffff!
Hey don’t rule PvP out completely, on my mission to make rank 80 (almost there ^^) I’ve enjoyed the competitive game mode a lot, gotten quite a bit of money, as well as the fact that I get a lot of extra crafting mats, obsidian shards, clovers, gear that can give you runes like the superior rune of traveler which is like 5g, and I mostly win so that helps a lot as well :P So you cant say its the worst way because you’re at least having fun unlike how farming dungeons can become or farming in general.
All said and done I really despise it when people just go afk or leave because they feel like it and go do something better worth their time, its like yeah sure that’s cool but guess what, by doing that 1 act of total selfishness you are wasting the time of 4 other people.

Hey, anyone interested in a dungeon party for real fast dungeons? Ive got 1 of every class plus 2 extra eles and an extra bunker support guard and all chars are lved up and geared. Preferbaly be around the same time zones, mine is 2+GMT.
Taking in account that dungeon farming will most likely for most people involve doing it with pugs so you may only do around 1-3 dungeons at the most in 1 hour

5 soloqueuers vs a premade isnt impossible to win but it may sometimes be. We actually won game that I talked about of the 5 against a whole pre-made organized team :P

The first part of your question doesn’t really require a dev answer, people see them in game playing. So that makes it pretty obvious they do play.

If anet changes beserker stats then Il have to change almost more than of my char’s builds, but luckily they would never change something like the beserker stats.
Ive played a few games tonight and quite a few times my team was filled with solo players and the other team had a party of 2-3 and my last one was literly 5 solo queue players against a team with an party of 4 or 5 as well as Im sure they were an organized group and we lost a few of the matches that I mentioned. Or my team had a party of 2-3 not so good / un-organized players and the other team did have an good party in it.
Maybe you can do something about this anet?

Duels. My team lost a match no small part to me. I knew how to play map but didn’t care. Cause i was having a great duel with a mesmer and other 8 ppl on the map didn’t matter.
