SoS has had the attitude let chips fall where they may and do the best since we started to rebuild. We have seen some blatant 2v1 this matchup but chalked it up to usual part of the game. But here is some proof of SoR helping SBI. Apparantly 25 + SoR in SBI Ts3 coordinating with guilds from SBI to doubleteam SoS. How kittened is that? If SoR wanted to push SoS they have enough people by themselves. lol. No honor amongst them both.

I’m split on a few things.

I would relish nothing more than SBI’s bandwagon making gold and then spectacularly imploding, but not at the expense of Maguuma being put in silver. Not at the expense of SoS either, I do enjoy fighting them too, and they absolutely deserve gold league above SBI.

At this point Mag has been slowly climbing in ratings above SBI, which goes to show which server has a community more stable on their decision to tank or to fight

Another good reason for gold league: More enemies = more bags

I can make tons of bags/badges/gold matched up vs TC or JQ as seen in our latest matches with them.

Matching up vs Ebay or Kaineng i’m lucky to coax them out of towers for 20 bags a night. I don’t understand why people would think these servers are fun matchups

I am not sure which is gonna be best for Maguuma…gold or silver. But I have enjoyed Mag actually caring more for PPT than we normally do in an effort of get gold. I think a lot more care than admit it…it is just the ‘cool’ thing to do and talk about how much you do not care. Especially when you are just parroting something that a popular commander said.

I get PPT does not equal skill. But if Maguuma really does not care, then there would be no need to ever capture anything. Why not just stand in a blob in the bloodrust ruins and wait for open field fights? Or maybe the windmill at one of the south camps? GvG fights in open field pretty much mean nothing. My as well just que up for spvp. If you aren’t taking towers and keeps, why even bother going to WvW?

Does that mean I don’t want fun, balanced fights? Of course not. But those happen like 1 out every 20 fights seems like. I doubt there will be many good fights in the gold league. Though silver might be too easy, it might be more fun to gather ‘free’ loot bags than die over and over and have to spend a lot of coin on repairs.

I hope all these commanders pushing for gold will be out playing WvW as much as they have been the past couple weeks even if all 4 maps are 95% enemy colors. But I’d bet a lot of them won’t be on as much if they keep getting steamrolled by 4 times their numbers every time they take something. They might regret getting what they wish for.

Guess we will see…

No GvG involving a maguuma guild has happened outside of NA prime that I know of, so for the rest of those 18-20+ hours ppt is the main attraction of fights. You take the bad guy’s towers, the bad guys will come to fight you.

And yes, the only time Mag hits a queue is with our daytime karma train. I would in no way deny we zerg harder than most servers during these hours. NA prime and OCX hours however…. consistently outmanned and outnumbered.

Say what you will about SBI but we have been and will always be a class act and here of late it’s been nice to see that in Fort Aspenwood as well. I wish I could say the same for Maguuma but your PvF is horrendous and your kitten in game is even worse. You can say PPT isn’t important and that is fine and all but we’re wiping larger zergs and winning important fights routinely.

On a side note my favorite fight this week had to have been last nights SM double team from FA and Mag where it took about 80 or so players 15 minutes to get about 25 SBI out of lords room. Even more humorous was that we revived the lord about 4 times lol.

As for this gold league slot, the verdict is still out. If FA has another bad week they may be seeing the like of Ebay and Dragonbrand for 7 weeks. SoS would need an exceptionally bad roll in the matchup department to fall out of top 6 i think

Really? You all need to go back to school and learn to count. Was more than 35. On the mag BL, there wasn’t much of this "running separately, that you are speaking of. We had 2 small zergs going, and after you wiped one, you ran and wiped the other. And there was about 60 in that zerg, easily.

SBI ran ONE blob all night in ebg. This is why you guys got DESTROYED for 4 hours. FA at least had sense to send 5 mans and 10 man parties to hit our towers while they distracted us at SM. They could at least figure out our guild groups had zero pug support and were able to punish us for it by stretching us out. Farming SBI was easy and a wealth of bags.

Glorious farm of SBI and FA all night in EBG. Lesson learned tonight, don’t rely on pugs to watch Stonemist though.
