I dont understand the bashing from Ark. We explained at the start of the week finals this week has made it very kitten our guild. Not one time this week were we even around 20 players online at a given time, most of the time, barely 15.

We never once bragged about how “amazing” we are, or none of that. Only thing we’ve been doing is trying hard to win this week, our guild actually wants to be in gold do to the fun of the fights. So we been trying quite hard.

Anyways, we’re still learning GvGs, we’re pretty god awful at 15v15s still, haha – but if we have a rematch next week like expected, we can definitely go for it!

No ones bashing you and no ones saying you guys said you were amazing. Just when you guys said you didn’t have enough and then drop out of garri onto us with 30ish it kind of kitten ed us off in comms.

Sorry if it comes off that way. Just grab whatever 15 you have, and throw down, everyone gets experience and everyone is happy! If you’re always waiting on your “specific 15” then you’ll just always be forever waiting

I know we may be different, but if we ever have enough online, we will be happy to accept any challenge. There are just some nights where you’re stuck with only 11 or 12 guys and that sucks, we’ve been there

Well, since, like most rational offensive teams, you try to hit our keeps, when we’re not in them. You shouldn’t be surprised there aren’t too many there when you do succeed in taking them :P

Well we spent a good hour fighting under a sea of arrow carts in mag hills, so it’s not like the tower was empty. Finally get a treb up to clear out those icky arrow carts, and then everyone leaves

Last night our guild + BT attacked Bay for THREE hours in YB BL. What does SBI do? Come out of spawn, crossed lanes, and try to hit us from behind the ENTIRE time. Meanwhile, completely undefended towers and keeps on their lane of the map that were free to take were not even looked at.

You guys are doing this to yourself, don’t even fool yourself into thinking otherwise. Your complete inability to drop commander tags and split omniblobs is your ultimate downfall

Mag knocked out 3 waypoints in YB BL within 2 hours of eachother last night, there’s no 2v1 happening

Historically Yak’s bend would roll over and give up when pushed on during the week, but it looks like SBI has taken over that title

SBI BL was weird on reset, YB was an almost no-show on their half of the map, so it came down to us fighting the entire SBI blob in rez rush situations and other crap.

Also sidenote, please don’t bring your awful PU mesmers to fightclubs. I’ve had enough of fighting 20 of them every night in gold league.

If Ark’s goal was to get a lot of kills and CNB+Rooster’s goal was to keep garri, then they both won.
Sorry if that outcome is a little too Disney for everyone, but it’s the truth.

Same story in EBG. We were farming TC as they came out of spawn for a while there.

Well, Yes. You did. Some. Truthfully, you didn’t end up killing most of us, except for the Spawn Party we had going just to keep you there, while our main group retook our stuff.

This after we painted EBG completely green all day long (Tee Hee, Chuu and I had fun putting green banners on everything.)

We fully expected the 2v1, where Mag and SoS teamed up to simultaneously alternate trebbing and push our keep. This is not a whine, mind you. I thought it was an EPIC good time fighting you all! With 6 trebs total firing on our keep, it was definitely a full on Siege Warfare, and I found it great fun. I was telling our people on the TC Mumble that this is what WvW all about. 2v1 happens. Getting pushed to your Spawn happens. After we pasted you earlier in the day, we fully expected to get hit hard as the OCX came online, and that’s fine! We had to deal with our territory being wiped daily for the past few weeks, so it’s good to keep the skills sharp.

P.S.: I dont sit behind ACs. (Lies, I do, but only for tower defense) What I like to do is treb the open-field zergs. Yep, that was me. I like the challenge of trying to adjust my aim & power to hit the zerg as you guys run around.

So hey, y’all got some bags – and we got good fights. It was a little messy with the coordination between our attack group and our spawn defense group – but hey, it’s not like we LET you farm our spawn endlessly. 2 hours later, our 1/3rd was ours again.

I honestly thought yesterday was the most fun we’ve had all week!

You’re going to cry 2v1 when last night you took ALL of cern+stun+pink, and sat at the south outer gate of bay, holding us out and let SoS cap it from us

What happened to EP? They are now runnign 30-40, still can be wiped pretty easily as I saw tonight on EBG, and have to depend on the other SoS zerg with FANG in it to wipe hahaha. Why not just run 15-20, that’s what you run away with after losing 15 players.

For the record, I didn’t see EP wipe and they were beastmode all night long.

Mag roamers are good, SoS roamers need to use more hybrid builds. Pure Zerk is so 2012.

i guess roaming on Maguuma hard these days, i tried to challenge an EP charr thief to duel, started signaling him to duel instead he went to invi and started to attack while i was jumping signaling him. oh well, nice duel huh.

An SoS guy did that twice to me today.

KH who took over for you were not as good as you guys. It was fantastic fighting you Ark. All the comments in TS were of how fun those fights near your tower were. I was starting to poke at your stuff just to get you guys to show up so we could start a fight again. Hopefully I’ll meet up with more of you guys for a nice fight again. Just… not under arrow carts please.

Also, we took your WP’d hills and T3 lake shortly after you guys left the map. KH kept running away from fights so we got fed up and just rolled over them.

KH held Lake and Hills for about 4-ish hours after Ark stopped running for the night. Kinda a loose definition of “shortly.”

All that time we were poking at you guys to come fight open field. I wasn’t interested in taking your tower or keep at all, or else you would’ve seen a golem rush. Unfortunately, all you guys ever did was run to your tower and fight under arrowcarts. At least Ark had the balls to face us open field

If you mean poking to bring out in open field by setting up cannons, ACs, and trebs in ruins, then you’re just as bad lol. Siege is siege even it it’s not in a tower!!

Also it’s different fighting blobs with 25 in NA prime than it is with 12 + pugs after hours

Warriors and necros do the highest straight up damage of any other class safely with their huge HP pools and abilities.

Guardians and eles are the best support, provide sustain for the frontline warriors/guards as well.

Mesmers are useful in smaller numbers, as they have powerful boonstrips and veil/TW/feedback

Rangers are awful, every single thing they do can be done better and safer by an elementalist. Engineers are ok, but severely outclassed by a necro or guardian in whatever role they are trying to perform (frontline bombs outclassed by a guardian because no AoE stab, no shoutcleanses, and weak heals. Backline nades/other dps is just out dpsed by necros)

Thief has its uses, shortbow can spam poison and weakness better than any other class. Snipe builds can punish poorly positioned eles/necros. But their effectiveness does not really increase in larger numbers, versus a guardian or warrior.
