I know that lately, forums have been all about Blackgate accusing Iron running away from fights but what about…

Blackgate groups (40+) running away or porting out during NA prime.

Whenever we’d encounter a BG group between objectives, they’d either rush back into their tower or port out. Even when we didn’t have a fatty zerg.

The only times they’d engage us is whenever we’re making a push for an objective or when their entire map zone is present.

I understand that it’s a “tactical retreat” and that we may have a fatty zerg at times(usually 35 people), but why keep the pressure on one guild?

What I’m trying to say is, everyone’s guilty of running away or avoiding fights at some point in time. Don’t grind on one guild.

That happened because most of the trolls over the last few days were coming from that one guild and their GL and the officers were doing nothing while they continued to insult our new members ZD as well as throw baseless accusations at us.

We all know everyone in T1 has helped Guilds transfer sometime or the other but those Iron members were trolling non-stop on us for a guild we did not help actually. So, of course people were gonna get mad and start trolling in response. What did they expect?

As of now all Iron members have been told not to post on these forums anymore .
People have been kicked from the guild and anyone found posting will be warned and told to delete their posts if they ignore this they will be kicked .
you may smack talk Iron but we are one of the most dedicated guilds in gw2 . we turn up every night trying to fight the blobgantuan, running as just iron something posters from some of the guilds here should try .

As I pointed out in an earlier post, TC doesn’t go ballistic when they lose, which makes me certain they’ll be humble if they win.

TC are an awesome server. As i pointed out in the last thread, they kept a constant ~150ppt in the last match from start till end showing that they never gave up and tried their best throughout the week and there was never even a single QQ from them unlike a certain server we all know.

I’m going to lock this thread as it is absolutely not the case that this is happening. We’ve investigated it and there is no truth to these claims. It can certainly appear that way, especially if players are not responding to in-game chat, but that is no substitution for our very accurate numbers which indicate this is not happening anywhere.

Seems like ZBs wanted to feel like GD(Good Old Days, ZBs have always freaked out when someone calls GD on TS3) on EU, wipe the kitten out of SFR, except. GD never PvD’d like ZBs and have always backed their words in-game. Figures, when GD went to JQ, ZBs got a break from wiping, but once GD went back to Elona Reach, they immediately transferred to BG.

I was going to go get some coffee and a muffin this afternoon, walk out to my car, battery is dead. Blackgate saw us painting the BL green and actually physically sabotaged my car. I checked my brake lines – all cut. It couldn’t have been the ex-wife, it had to have been Blackgate.

First Blackgate gets a new guild ZD which their guild utterly just destroys 3 time zones. They only play in 1, but that doesn’t matter – it’s one of those “inbetweenzy” ones. And another guild from awhile ago – but it matters now, it didn’t before – does now.

Blackgate isn’t even Tier 1. It’s Tier 0, or .5, I don’t know I’m not a creative person, I only work here. Can’t believe this is happening. It used to be balanced, but BG got a whole bunch of guilds like totally a bunch, like oodles, el grande numero. SOR has become the Spartans. Blackgate now has 24/7 coverage, which is apparently, 24 more hours than SOR does now.

I’m 95% sure I’m not forgetting any guilds, leaving 5% there because it has been awhile… maybe there is some guild I don’t remember… maybe. That is 9 guilds, 2 of which were small guilds with about 50 members each. I’ll also tell you AoI did not get paid to move anywhere. I farmed Orr for 3 days before I had enough to move.

I’ll also tell you it was probably JQ’s stacking during free transfers that made the move happen, not their EU, not SoR, not SoR’s EU. SoS got VoTF and ND during that, but it was still not enough to compete with JQ. Also during that time JQ was telling every potential transfer how stacked SoS was, even ignoring the fact that SoS had lost half its NA and the only SEA it had was MERC (who didn’t always play SEA at that time) and ND.

There’s always somebody who tries to bring that move up, but when I come in there as somebody who was actually part of it, you never hear from that person again.

It was both JQ and SoR responsible. JQ after forming the mega-server went all out on us because of the bitter JQ-SoS rivalry and SoR, knowing at that time that they can not compete against JQ, decided to focus SoS for weeks. I was with MERC at that time and i too remember how those weeks went. It was daily overtimes and a chore just to try to stay in T1.

Meh, it’s over anyways and is like beating a dead horse (i myself shouldn’t have brought it up originally). I am just enjoying this match-up for the time being because of them SoR tears so let’s just drop it. Besides, BG has been awesome and i have no regrets and i am pretty sure many of the others who came as well

This match-up has been like Karmic Justice to SoR. Even if somehow BG doesn’t win the league, we will still remember it for bringing so many SoR players to tears in the match-ups that entailed.

We all want a server who puts up a fight, not one who resorts to PvF as soon as the opponents put up a little competition. TC would be far better a T1 server than the current SoR with that attitude of theirs.

I’m sure the “Arms race” or the mighty “warchest” was implemented for balance. Our servers were actually balanced before ZD came over.

The vast majority of the BG posters that post their vitriol, have some unhealthy hate for SoR. Holy crap, it’s a game. Is this the common mentality of people these days? To irrationally hate someone they’ve never met, to the point of wishing that their community will implode?

The anonymity of the internet makes it so easy for someone’s true nature to shine through. That’s not always a good thing to see.

The whole server did all this? I don’t recall doing any of that. I log in to WvW, and try to simply have fun, and play.

You are holding an entire server accountable for the actions of a select few. I daresay, if you peeled back all the crap every server is layered in, you would be hard pressed to tell them apart.

So if you want to gloat, hate, and all the other ugly emotions, knock yourself out. Just focus it properly.

Well lets see here……1st week even with JQ transfers we held on to win, 2nd week SOR comes out destroys us for 3 nights 17 k lead and guess what? BG plays the game came back and beat you by 100 k. Evidently the Russians are gods among us and scared an entire server into oblivion…..

Week 3…… A joke so far, BG will not care what you do or attempt to do etc etc etc in week 5, 7 or beyond, come back and beat us GREAT. Its a silly thing considering there seems to be some deal from some parts to 2v1 against sor which i dont approve but get told that sor would do the same given the chance. Doubt it’s intentional but could be because SoR is against two servers who hate it the most. And yes SoR did do the same during it’s days in T1 with SoS and JQ leading to the segregation of SoS.

It’s not that both servers hate SoR but that both are firm advocates of intentional 2v1s. They do it every chance they get.
