Honestly almost all of the QQ is from some of these IRON members here. We don’t even see much of the SoR community PvF these days. So Shifty and co., stop shaming your guild and your server and accept defeat. You are just making a mockery of yourselves and your guild.

And IRON please, don’t come out with the bullkitten of them not representing the entire guild. If they are tagging up to troll/PvF on the forums, then they are representing your guild. So get a grip over your members please.

I can’t even remember anyone noteworthy from SoR these days who QQs these much on the forums except these IRON guys and magikfox.

TC seems like an entirely different server ever since EP and KH moved out. Lots of hate towards T1s especially BG and sometimes JQ. Most of the QQ on eb map chat are from people I’ve never seen before or up-levels. They were saying stuff like BG are cowards and would lose to them if the numbers were even and that BG loves to run full map zergs.

I don’t like negativity on map chat but I hate it even more if people from Tier 19 servers spread misinformation with zero experience fighting w Tier 1s. If they want to improve, they should embrace and learn what Tier 1s are doing instead of running their mouth and filling up map chat with garbage.

Well, like i said it’s been months since i last been to TC. And this is definitely disheartening to say the least. This is also exactly why i was hoping TC wouldn’t get caught up in the arms race and change.

TC is very much like BG, hell we fought you and SoR for so many months back in tier 2, BG and SoR managed to recruit and pull ourselves to tier 1 but TC were unable to recruit enough to fully break into it and kick JQ out

alot of very good wvw guilds were spawned on TC, tempered with RP and fighting t1 and t2 servers

I dont know if TC will ever be able to recruit enough to join BG and SoR or whether the t1 servers will de stack and balance all the gold servers, but we can dream

TC are best just the way they are imo. Whenever i get bored of T1, i go there for a couple of weeks to enjoy WvW the way it should be. It’s always pure fun on their side. Dunno if it’s changed because i haven’t been there for quite some time but TC for me used to be like a vacation land, i go there every few weeks to relax and enjoy

Yes, BG always prefers to runs but i blame Anet for it. Didn’t you know they changed WvW so that running gives you ppt and not fighting people to capture/defend keeps, towers, etc. which is what you would have expected of BG since they won the last round.

Instead of complaining, why don’t you get your people to adjust themselves between the two zones. How do you think BG survived these many months in EU zone? Also, from what you are saying, do you mean to say that around Russian time, there is absolutely no one playing from SoR that they can’t even handle for one hour till the other zones log back in? Like seriously? Do you seriously mean that you have exactly 23 hours coverage and BG got a guild in the one hour you didn’t? Great thing about the chest thump threads (not stating yours is one) is the 3rd wheel (SoR, BG and JQ) as it stands now is gonna have a huge say of deciding the Kingmaker of season 1 as week 7 has the 3 Tier 1 servers squaring off again. Guaranteed there is going to be lots of QQ posts, politics, azzzz kissing, etc. in response to whom that 3rd server decides to rally towards so expect that thread to be loads of fun to read!

Well yeah.

CONSIDER:
during the weekend, reset nights, ETC all that good kitten.
The time when every server has 4queue’d around the clock.
SoR pulls ahead.
So when every server is exactly equal in terms of players on the field. SoR is winning. Thus BG was “not fighting hard enough”.

Now, during the weekday, when SoR runs outmanned in 2+ BL’s for 8 hours, BG holds high PPT ticks. During the times SoR does 4queue the maps, there is still a large BG force on the map, who now has a large base to work with to defend. In essence, we can now clearly see that BG has more players, and/or more players willing to put in the overtime.

Here’s a quick snapshot of how the maps are for SoR right now

EB: No queue, no commander (though there is one on teamspeak who is there, just not pinned up)
6:47am EST
SoR: Queue, Commander on map: Rai (This is actually non-normal. Rai was taking a break last night at this time IIRC. And there was no queue last night. Im glad to see more people putting in work during this time period) group he’s running with: 35 people if teamspeak is an indication.

BGbl No queue (outmanned) Commander on map: none

Bounce group: 50 people (more than we had last night)
The bounce group, “bounces” between where they are needed. Which is to say that they are currently moving between EB, BG, and TC.
Given that we become outmanned on any location they arent, we can assume that at least 1 server has a reasonable sized zerg 30+ on every map.

This sort of population numbers in WvW has most likely been there for the past 4-6 hours (admittedly I wasnt there)
And usually persists until about 8am my time, in which SAHP gets going. And then about 10am we’re back to queuing multiple maps with commanders on all of them.

Simply put, BG has more people during these times. Either through a larger population, or higher dedication, cant really be said. But as the commanders in the bounce group are fond of saying: “Look, if BG wins because they beat us at this time, then it’s because they wanted this win more, if they’re willing to put in the overtime when we’re not, then that’s our fault. We’re gonna do our best, try our hardest, and if we lose, then we obviously SoR didnt want it as hard as BG did.”

Quite frankly, as someone who plays primarily during this time. If SoR wants to pull the win, we either need more late NA/early oceanic players. Or those which we already have need to be pulling the required overtime. That or, absolutely poop on kids during the first weekend, and pray that we can keep their ppt low enough during the nights that they dont close the gap over the 7 day week. Whatever they decide I guess.
As for me, ill be enjoying t1 at its finest, no queue’s, and not 1, not 2, but 3 maps to find fights on. We bounce from fight to fight to fight, knowing that any fight we lose means a keep gets lost, it’s intense, it’s not that laggy, and above all else, it’s fun.

I just said in my post that you quoted that BG have always taken it easy during weekends (which co-incidentally include reset nights). Look at BG’s previous history and you will find the same pattern. Of course there is a decent population who will be playing at reset who keep us in the race. But most of the weeks, BG’s real pace doesn’t kick in until the weekdays. Even our first gold medal was us coming from much behind.

And your sentiment is very correct. If someone is working hard towards it, then undermining it is just bad sportsmanship. Wish more people would think like it. But then again, the forums would be too boring then, wouldn’t they?

It was our late NA staying up until 2-3am that got us ticking so high. SOR has NA just as committed as BG’s so we usually negate each other. Give your new NA guilds some time to adjust. Also, don’t worry, your superior SEA/EU coverage will have you ticking back high in no time!

Since so many people love to kitten about PPT and how the general consensus among certain servers is that PPT players are bad, ANET should just remove it from all the matchups. I would love for them to see how a PPT-less WvW would look like. We could then have a RNG generated winner every match-up then. That would be so fun.

You know what would be best to counter the 2v1 blames? A 4 server match-up. Can you imagine all the drama that would ensue? We would even have alliances and all. Also, if a server kittens too much, we can 3v1. Anet, think about it.

All they are doing is providing people on other servers with MASSIVE troll bate for weeks on end.

EVERY GUILD should be constantly training. NO WEEK should specifically be a “training week”. That goes for every server. If you’re not learning from what you see on the field, you’re falling behind.

EVERYONE should be playing for fun, and not get super stressed over PPT. That just makes it less of a game, and more of a job.

BG certainly has the best numbers and coverage in this match-up.

But the score(BG up about 40k at this point) leaves out certain specific details.

DB over the weekend spent a vast amount of our limited off-hour numbers holding SoR bl’s bay keep for several days. Add in the tower and nearby supply camps and dolyaks, and that sapped between 10-15k points from SoR(Assuming SoR had taken and held it generally from reset night onwards).

Second, the bugged SE tower in BG bl along with dolyak deliveries there gives up to 2700 points a day.

Taken together, these two factors would peel roughly 20k off BG’s current lead if neither had occurred.

So while BG would still be in the lead, it would not be quite so far in the lead.

Everything has to be held by someone. If you were devoting your limited off-hour resources in SoR BL, then SoR could shift BLs. And if someone says they couldn’t because of BG, then that would mean their numbers weren’t up to par this week.

The mods in the WvW section are also to blame. Few weeks back, BG posted a screen of a guy (Sleeepy.XXXX) who was sabotaging with sieges and we confronted him on the forums about it. While everyone agreed that he should be banned for it, what happened was that the post was deleted by the mod and the guy who submitted the screen got an infraction whereas Sleeepy still comes on the forums and mocks us for it. It’s just inexcusable.

Few weeks back we had Sleeepy (If you went through his history you would find him actively rooting for SoR while bashing BG in his posts, whether he is from SoR or not i can’t say) in BG continuing to build useless trebs. He still continues to come on the forums and directly mocks BG for it. Point is everyone has to deal with them and it’s absolutely pathetic that Anet allows such people to even post on the forums let alone play the game without any consequences.

Moreover, if he had used some Guild Name, then it might have been a bit difficult to find out about his origins. Eventually, transferring guilds will see that SoR lack some and they will get it, much in the same way that almost every guild avoided transferring to JQ for the past few months because everyone knew that they didn’t need any.

Actually, I think you are wrong. JQ still got transfers (though not as much as in the past) and BG also got transfers despite being stacked at the time. People tend to jump on bandwagons when gaming because rather than seeking challenge, they want to coast to victory.

The recent influx of guilds to BG that have shifted the power balance so much only proves that. They could have just as easily went to SoR and made an actual three way fight out of things, where each and every week is up for grabs by any server…. but no, they chose to pile on a server that was already capable of winning T1 and had.

Personally, I find it extremely boring… but to each their own.

Do name me a few guilds that JQ got in the last few months. if you gonna contradict on something, do so with some proof. I haven’t heard of any major guilds transferring to JQ since the dissolve of SoS.

Also, where were you when TSym chose SoR? I can’t recall you saying something back then. I said it before and i will say it again; Guilds choose the server where they think they will enjoy WvW’ing. Don’t force them based on your coverage. Most of the WvW guilds send scouts before transferring so there is no need for doubting their decision.

I MEANT THE NA SERVERS ON WHICH WE PLAY MUCH LIKE THE EU SERVERS. Of course, the coverage should be 24/7 and not only in American time. So, all i am saying is that BG and JQ both have great 24/7 coverages whereas SoR are lacking in it. I said that we would have a perfect T1 if the 3rd server also had good coverages, don’t care which the 3rd server is, which is also why i said SoR to hold on. Eventually, transferring guilds will see that SoR lack some and they will get it, much in the same way that almost every guild avoided transferring to JQ for the past few months because everyone knew that they didn’t need any.

And P.S. please stop the Kitten about BG buying guilds. It’s getting old and the small attachment below is what i feel about it, like really. You are just showing yourself as ignorant when you say this week after week.

EDIT : The JQ overtime was a joke in the same BG was getting kitten for it a few weeks back. I have no idea why JQ aren’t putting up much of a fight.

Well JQ can maybe come out and try to put up a fight atleast (if they get their energy back after the weekend overtime); SoR: not really.

Just sucks that our NA is so strong, but them other servers (cough BG cough) have to buy guilds to stay competitive. In actuality, if we had any EU/SEA presence (compared to JQ/BG) this whole thing would be a different story.

Let’s not put SOR out of the picture yet, they can and does have an impact to the fights/scores in T1. Anything can happen!

I don’t wanna flame-bait or anything but look at the PPT distribution. SoR had equal PPT to JQ and BG during NA time which is their strongest time on the field. Sure, they can impact the scores but that would be all. SEA time, we all know how it will go down.
