Hello,
After logging into the new patch, I decided to transmute a tier 3 Sylvari medium chest piece (Firstborn Coat), a Nightmare Pauldrons piece and a Festive Hat onto a level 2 Sylvari Ranger.
I did this via the UI selection “Hero: Wardrobe” and selected the unlocked skins. I transmuted these successfully onto karma merchant duelist armor from the WvW Karma Trader [Equipment Trader] in the Eternal Battlegrounds spawn point ( Aurora Glade Hill Waypoint ).
I then proceeded to go to the “Hero:Dyes” tab and started to dye my armor.
I had the pop up “These changes will cost 0 transmutation charges.” and clicked Apply.
However, non of the transmuted pieces that I had transmuted from the “Hero: Wardrobe” changed to the appropriate colors. Other armor pieces did actively change when I selected dyes for them.
RESOLVED:
To fix this you must remove dye’s that are on the armor that you do not possess that came with the piece.

“Build it and they shall come.”
I look forward to and expect the community to get behind this grand ideal for the true “living world”.
Best of luck, I fully support this!
I walked through Lion’s Arch after the storm had passed, I did not run, I walked.
I saw the heartbreak, saw the sorrow and heard the mournful melody of antiquity playing in the breeze, the experience saddened me.
This had a profound effect, to quote a heroine of old; “Now the danger runs deep.”
This is true, both from a personal side as I have called Lion’s Arch home for more than 250 years and now to the menace that threatens Tyria from below.
It will not stand. We will descend to the depths to rise ever higher.
Some questions from me.
1.) What happened to Canach and what’s he going to be involved in next.
2.) Her-O-Tron, make it happen. Thought’s on what he will do if he gets his freedom?
Scarlet’s death? Acting.

Warmest Wintersday regards,
The Snowman King – Daniel Frozenwind
Simple question,
Do any of the Wintersday Tonics drop anywhere? ( Snowman, Riendeer, toy tonics e.c.t.)
And if not, why?
Interesting, It was just a thought!
I see a domed building on Castle Thorn, I may be wrong but doesn’t the Shattered Keep have a collapsed domed structure to?

Thank you for the advice simplesimon, however it incorrectly displayed around 20 unread player sent mails in my inbox, normally this is impossible.
I also deleted many of these heart mail’s and existing player mails in my inbox in the hopes of retrieving the pending ones to no avail.

Ellieanna, the mail should never have been able to exceed 10, however for some reason it did. This did not include heart mail.
It is not my fault that the player sent mail became wrongly available to me, only for it to be removed again, when in it should still be in the pending mail.

I have contacted support and I am dis-satisfied with the outcome, I want to know if anyone has had a similar problem as described below.
I experienced a sudden over population of player sent mail in my Mailbox, with the number of mail standing at 23/10, I reviewed these letters with items enclosed. I swapped characters only for all the extra mail to vanish and not appear when I delete mail after it reverted back to 10/10.
As you can see from this screenshot, the maximum limit for the mailbox has been over populated, this resulted in player sent mail being view able and select able, each of these mail had items included destined for me from my friend for community events.
As I selected them they registered as viewed. I did not take these items. Once I had logged to a different character the mail limit returned to 10/10.
I deleted mails hoping my qued up mail would return, but it did not.
If it helps in your investigation I received two complimentary emails from Arena-Net, one a minipet box from the Dragon Bash, I took this into my inventory, the second is as you can see in the picture a salvage kit, I did not take this.
The date was 12/06/2013 and it occurred roughly around 18:58 PM GMT on the Aurora Glade [EU] server. This is the specified timeframe was when the issue occurred and the items lost as requested by support.
There was roughly around 13 mails sent from mostly the same player, these had been in the mail que for quite some time.
I cannot remember every item but I know that it consisted of mostly full slots, ranging from alcohol consumables and foodstuffs, to armor. There was a lot, and I only saw the the mail que very briefly before it vanished.
The Black Lion Salvage Kit mail is suffering from the same issue as the player sent mail disappearances, I am not asking for a replacement for this, I am asking for my current mail to be made available to me again. The mail’s were only viewed, not claimed.
I’ve stated that I did in fact delete mail once my inbox returned to the existing 10/10 mails as it was before the bug.
My issue is that due to this bug, my incoming mail has not returned and I haven’t deleted or claimed items from these mails.
I want those player sent mails/ items made available in my inbox once more.
The mail’s from this player were sent on the time stamp at the top of the mail at “1 month old” and the Black Lion Mail was dated at “1 week old”
It is quite unfair as it was not down to player error or an exploit that I lost my items, these of which where destined for a community event; see Wickerwind.Jade-reapers.com for an example of what I have been using these donations for.
I lost many valuable items due to a bug with the game itself, is there no way I can be refunded these items in some way?
Its quite disheartening to hear that, through no fault of my own or anyone really, I will lose the funds destined for your own communities benefit.

After 250 years…
The Wickerwind Carnival is about to make its triumphant debut to GW2.
It would seem like a certain Snowman King has awoken from his long and frosty sleep.
Perhaps a mad old Queen will join him for some fun to reap.
Laughter and games, putrid flames, and screams of joy and fear.
A party sublime, an unforgettable time. Must be that time of the year.
The Wickerwind Carnival, ladies and gentlemen is finally here.

Hello,
After utilizing the costumes and many vanity items from Guild Wars 1 to great effect, I would have thought the same overlay of vanity items over armor would be incorporated into Guild Wars 2.
Town clothing restrict’s beautiful armor from being able to be combined with other armor pieces or indeed worn at all for the most part of people’s game time ( pvp excluded)
Wouldn’t it be more viable to at least allow Transmogrification stones to combine town clothing pieces with armor?
People pay real money for these sets, shouldn’t they be allowed a bit more freedom with them?
