Trebs in Cliff can take out trebs in Garri unless eles are defending it. The Cliff trebs have a distinct height advantage. Of course then that gets counter-trebbed by trebs in camp then that gets counter zerged or counter trebbed from tower…wait I feel like I’ve done this before…

I think most of us do. NEO has worked hard from the start to remain allied with WM. We all work with them on a daily basis. You will see our commanders communicating with them and them with us.

It’s just a matter of people on opposing servers hate them. With reason I suppose, they get killed by them a lot and think Kaineng only has people because of them.

Why is it so fun in game on Kaineng? and so not on forums? Even the guru forums nowadays – flooded with trolling.

Simple truth. WvW is enjoyable , Nothing to do now? All commanders are helpful. Show tips, tactics, to share with your guilds – maybe basic, maybe not. Server reset every week. Bigger servers who have WvW population all face same thing. Kaineng is good server for WvW, that is all that needs to be said. Don’t care why not going to come. That’s individual opinion.

I guess I fail to see how you can be enjoying WvW in landslide style victories week after week? If you have as many good WvWers as you claim, I would think they would all be bored silly.

This week is fairly boring, doubly whammy of even more transfers and the servers we’re facing having been essentially gutted of good WvW guilds. AR/NSP/GoM/HoD/Ferg/ET…etc put up more of a fight. At least during their prime times. Expecting a good fight out of DB and Mag having faced them both before and had to fight tooth and nail for every point during their prime times. Till then…hey I’ve actually gotten some levels on my Necro!

See how that works? I know for a fact that I and several of the folks I run with in small groups have been playing on alts. Broad statements are gimp :P

Our up-levels have a tendency to hang back so not seeing them is generally b/c the rest of the zerg/group crushed them before they got back that far. Having said that…alts are sometimes 80 and PvE speced too. RE isn’t all WvW hardcore, and PvE toons need karma too!

I personally run more of a stay with the group and alive type tanky/supporting build so 1v1 is often going to be my weakness in WvW, takes too long. I keep my 1v1 2v1 3v1 spec in sPvP.

Hehe, I got here Dec. 14th and didn’t really recall them. I was here when Kain was still the “red team” or actually in the lowest rank in the NA tiers, after DR’s departure from t8. Of course, I’m about as absentminded as it gets. Soooo…that could be my fault. Okay, it’s probably my fault! Shhhhhh!

I can only speak for my guild, but our first server (DH) was going down hill, we went from rank 18 to rank 12 and lost one match due to lack of night time presence, a lot of WvW guilds left, we stayed for the longest time, we were the last remaining big WvW guild on that server after every one left. We felt the pain putting in hours of WvW everyday/night with very little WvW guild centric support. We wanted to compete again, we wanted to be competitive again, the server was full, but it was full of PvE, and when we asked for help we would get laughed at, we couldnt take it anymore. We wanted to create a new WvW focused server, from the bottom up. At first we thought of the bottom of the bottom, Fergusans Crossing, but we thought about it, and we know from our loss in T3 theres no option, we absolutely NEED a night presence. And when we heard that WM moved here, it sealed the deal for us as they are the night presence (as well as KOR, etc), and great at it. So we brought a large NA presence (as well as other guilds have too); and I love the feeling that my guildmates and myself dont have to put in 16 hours a day/night of WvW every.single.day. We extremely appreciate and love the support from other guilds to make it. We are not the bandwagon type, we want earn our way up again, and now that we have one of the best night time coverage in GW2, and more NA presence, we see that as very much possible.

So RE…being a merged guild made up of the FIRST [DE] and THIRD [RE] (who sent scouts about the same time WM did, btw) guilds to transfer here are the bandwagoners…dude we built the wagon.

I was among the first 30 ppl to transfer to Kaineng, to recruit ppl for a WvW guild and WvW. Because that couldn’t be done on DH, period. DH was totally full of PvE people. We brought a whole 100 players with us, that’s really drastic numbers there. 100 people half of which were PvE, the rest being split between all time zones.

Funniest part of this?…You seem to think RE and WM are the biggest Guilds on the Server. :p SOS is the biggest by FAR. Beyond that…Kain, KR, Meow, FBA, DD, TGOG, VAST, TMT…And many many more. Someone earlier said “Kaineng will get demoralized and lose 20-30% of their population” or some-such in regards to a “Wall”. What I have been trying to tell people is that judging from what I have seen each Reset Day, about 40-50% of our WvW Population is sitting out because of boredom. So while some are saying that when we meet a Challenge we’ll -lose- population…I think they’re in for a very large surprise. I think there are far more people interested in a GOOD fight, than who will leave. Don’t get me wrong though…I don’t care if it ends up not being true…I’ll still be on Kaineng, and we’ll enjoy our time T5 with more reasonable numbers.

By which they mean RE and WM field the largest numbers in WvW. Chaster will be the first to tell you SoS is largely PvE, etc… No one is discounting the other guilds just tallying numbers inside WvW on a daily basis.

Posting in this thread to be able to subscribe (does that even work) to bump it once Kaineng hits the T4 brick wall.

I posted it somewhere else, but the opener on the 25th will be the most important opener ever for Kaineng. If the other two servers manage to deny Kaineng and opening success then all the bandwagoneers on the server will quickly transfer off before the free transfer close on the 28th.

I completely agree on this too, well except for the two big guilds, actually there are a lot of new guilds now on Kaineng, and Im going to be honest and say I cant even keep track of all the new ones I have seen. I do know also that SoS is huge, but their mainly PvE I think, most of them but their like 5 guilds combined from what I remember reading one time.

If all of RE will just do WvW, we could actually que 2 maps, being that we are a WvW focused guild, I dont see how that is not happening every day, meh thats just me though.

Meow, ToFu, TL… the list goes on and just porting JP on my mes I saw so many others than have transfered even in the last two days. T4 will be our first challenge but I don’t think they’ll be a brick wall anymore. T1 is an overestimation at this point, imho.

EB fought like tigers again tonight; good fight at Garrison and Cliffside. I noticed Kiridono was doing his “huge guild zerg” thing as well, with the able assistance of certain RE leaders who shall remain nameless. Also props to AoD as well; they were all over me when we went to DR BL.

Honestly, we’d probably be better off if we dropped to T7. After the transfers, that’s probably where we belong because of our (now even lower) wvw population. But T6 will certainly be interesting to see next week. It sounds like both DR and BP had some serious transfers, and it’s not like DR ran away with the match the last time they passed through this tier.

NSP has a tactics advantage that the t8 server can’t compete with. If you can field 10-20 ppl you can dominate there. On the other had t7 might be a fit population wise but I think watching t7 go against the dreaded “wall of steel” all of us know NSP can produce would be funny… I would almost pay for a transfer to watch it one day, should a tier fall come to pass. You guys have excellent leadership in [Os], if you’d make use of it.

Been a fun week guys skirmish wise, I’ve had my butt handed to me a few times. Sorry about the map colors, but Kain is full of graffiti artists. Best of luck to both servers going forward.

AR always brings the fight, this is why I sit in your BL. Defending Garri with 10-15 people while you guys break down all walls most nights, but still. Lol

I don’t know the drama that went on with DH. But DH looked like a bandwagon server. You guys jumped the tiers real quick with your WvW population growth. Once DH got to T3 and got run over, people couldn’t handle losing and jumped ship.

Kaineng looks to be on the same trajectory.

This isn’t flaming but more pointing out that Bandwagoning is a huge problem that affects a lot of people. Not only the tier that Kaineng is on but also the tiers above them. Plus the server that these people came from will likely start dropping like a rock.

I just find it a problem when people try to sugar coat what they’re doing and then goes ahead with encouraging more people to bandwagon.

Bandwagon…90% of the people in our guild that transfered from DH were DH natives, we rolled our characters there and moved nearly a month ago. It had nothing to do with winning or losing. Also, the WvW population on DH was made up of about 3-5 primary guilds. That’s not a huge number of people no matter how you look at it.

To ET, looking forward to it. I sat in your corner of EB or your BL most of the time. It was great fun.

This is KAINENG!

It’s not about old or new faces it’s about working together to bring Kaineng up. All guilds that are a part of NEO are either native to Kaineng or have made Kaineng their new homes. Not transfers that came to ruin the fun for lower tiers.

Yes, it’s a bit unbalanced at the moment but I assure you, we’ll be out of the lower tiers and having to work for every inch of ground soon enough.

In the meantime, join NEO, let’s get coordinated and organized.
