15 thieves all using thieves guild would be insane lol, 15 run in and boom army of 60 instantly, not many zergs in the open would be able to handle that, near forts and towers is another story, thieves do not do to well against heavy aoe, but with the appropriate builds and gearing could be one hell of an army.

Saw a ton of that also this week. Also witnessed a new thing where you kill a player, loot them, they disappear then magically reappear instantly and start fighting again with full hp.

Very interesting week to say the least, some of the craziest battles I have ever seen and been a part of, so thanks a million x’s over to SBI and JQ for making life interesting and lots of fun for us casual Blackgaters, never seen wvwvw so alive and vibrant, fun interesting tactics by all 3 servers many of which I have never seen before, very impressive at times.

But I am overly disappointed with the reputation my server BG is suffering due to a few bad apples from this weeks matchup, trust me when I say you (SBI, and JQ) have an abundance of them also, the behaviors and actions of the many I have seen, reported to ANET with pics, and vids from all 3 servers is incredible, really ruined the fun for me at times, never knew so many different type of hacks and exploits existed here.

Hopefully in the coming weeks ANET with the help of all of us can get rid of the bad apples ruining our servers and we can focus 100% on the most important part of the game and that is bashing each others heads in with greatswords and loling all night about it.

I have been on Blackgate since day 1 and I am so annoyed by this, the last 2 weeks have been terrible in my opinion. The only thing Blackgate needed was some help in overnight support, not every power house guild and bandwagoner from every other server, this has literally ruined the “Beastgate” community feel and reputation we once had, huge things with small numbers is what we were all about, there was a reason why so many other servers looked forward to fighting us over the last couple months and that was because they were guarenteed a fair fun fight. Sad to see so many original day 1 Blackgaters leaving for other servers now and many more will be leaving in the upcoming days for what I have been told by friends in multiple guilds. RIP Beastgate

Really loving this build, only had to make a couple alterations to suit my playstyle, fresh guardian 80 and loving it, nice change of pace from thief and necro. I do a lot of WvWvW with some dungeons thrown in here and there so I am looking for as balanced gear set as possible with surv/damage/heal. Brings me to my question gearing, whats the magic +healing number to shoot for in your opinion that allows you enough healing to have a real impact while maintaining good survival and damage? Do you mix and match gear certain gear sets?

So I have a few questions for Anet:

1- What is the point of having servers if massive influxes of players can just come and go as they please with no regard to the communities already in place? On the other side of the coin whats the point of being loyal to your server when there is no incentive to do so and when that massive influx of players join your server you just get thrown to the back of the line even though you have been there from day 1?

2- Whats the point of a ranked tier system if everyone can just come and go to any server they want at anytime? The system will never balance itself out properly by allowing this. Was the system designed for us to transfer as much as possible choosing what servers we wanted to be at the top at any given time?

3- Why is the current system anti-community building? HoD and EB have already experienced this and now its Blackgates turn to have its loyal community turned upside down and dismantled, why is this behavior encouraged?

Just wanted to add something about our (BG) queue times. I have rarely had to wait on any of the borderlands, and if I do it’s only for 10-20 minutes. I usually only have to wait to get into EBG. We aren’t as jammed packed as you might think.

Yeah we (BG) are massively jammed, waited over 4 hours last night to get a borderland, and now just passed the 3 1/2hr mark, I appreciate the fact that many guilds came over here to help us out but this is rediculous, been here at BG since launch, been part of the many ups and downs the server has seen so far and now many of us who love and have played wvwvw every night can’t even participate.

Its terrible right now! Haven’t seen a wvwvw queue pop since very late thursday night est. Spent over 4hrs in queue last night and hitting the 3 1/2 hr point right, yep gotta love Waitwars, just wait for hours and never get to play or abandon the server and guild I have been on since launch or play on a lower pop server by myself, two very crappy options.

There is almost no resistance and extremely low player skill on those two servers.

I’m thinking you equate player skill with massive numbers rampaging across all time zones. I have far more respect for the individual skill of Janthir enemies than I do Storm.

100% agree, there is zero skill in massively outnumbering both servers 24/7 in all borderlands, if either BG or IOJ had even half the numbers of Storm it would’ve been a much different week.
