Went out and found some puzzles. Ive have yet to get anything less than a Masterwork from chests & that is without Magic Find.
Hey all I heard there is better rewards for jumping puzzles now? Has anyone here tried them to see what they were? More coin or just level appropriate loot? ;o
Everyone will see it. This is most prevalent in Lion’s Arc where people like to dance.
LOL… ok so first half he is running around unable to kill anyone with cloak and daggers… Not surprising… every time he is revealed & disappears I didn’t see any AoEs what so ever… They could’ve at least tried. Halfway through he finally starts getting kills. Who is he killing? Well some the kills were from the other 3rd faction so those are easy pick offs since they ran into a red mob… but he does get some Red kills… How? They wandered off from the group & barely put up a resistance when attacked. And no he wasn’t stealthed once he opened up when he made these kills… Not resisting gets you killed… who knew? The only time he stealths is when he is finishing which btw if the group had any awareness they could’ve gotten him but barely any bothered to acknowledge his presence.
Now the “only” excuse to allow this to hapkitten the WvW rendering bug is occurring and while he is clearly unstealthed on his screen it does not appear so for the opponent.
Bug… not a class mechanic issue… its a bug… You showed us a video of either A. A thief picking off incompetent players or B. A thief abusing a bug… There it is again… “Bug”.
Does the bug need to be fixed? Absolutely! Should we break the class instead of fixing the bug…? Please tell me you’re shaking your head no…
Hm… completely break a class instead of fixing the root problem… what a revolutionary idea!
I think thats normal… some pieces of a light & dark overlay on them.
Yea I use the Thief Starter Helm so mine is transmuted on the crafted exotic leather helm. (forgot it’s name)
Never noticed it with other colors before but I have well over 100 colors lol but I suppose I should start testing. >.<
EDIT: Did a lot of random colors so obviously not all of them but so far it seems to only be the Midnight Fuchsia which leads me to believe its a rare case.

I realized just today that with some of the dye colors and certain equipment the dye simply will not stick & will revert to not having dye on it at all. I don’t know how rare this occurrence is so specifically when I apply Midnight Fuchsia to the Anonymity Helm in any slot it reverts back to Dye Remover.

How does this work exactly? Does the emblem just go on your current piece of gear or is it the chest piece you get in the Mists? If it goes on your current chest piece how does that work? Most of the female light armor wearers & some of the medium & heavy armor shows a bit of skin… Does the emblem go on the back if there is space or does it pick a side of chest? Does anyone have pictures they can share of it?
Every so often… Just a moment ago for me actually I will notice a forum section singled out in a foreign language. According to my browser it is German specifically but I just wanted to point out this odd bug that appears on the forums from time to time. For me I notice it most often on General Discussion. Clicking on it will in fact take you directly to the foreign counterpart as well. Very odd.

Signet of Agility: Passive: Grants increased precision. Active: Refill endurance and cure a condition for each nearby ally.
I use it myself in dungeons and it is quite handy.
I have to agree as a fellow Thief. We have so few designs that really stands out. Although some indivual pieces are beauties such as the coat from CM and if I remember right the gloves from CM are visually nice as well. Other than a select few pieces the vast majority of the armor pieces are bland in comparision with the Heaby or Light pieces. And for the life of me I still can’t find a decent pair of pants that goes well with what will be my endgame costume.
The combat itself doesn’t bother me so much as whenever I level or go to respec depending on my toon I am never excited about the traits… It’s usually the mundane “insert +10% damage for w/e reason” trait.
=/ Hm I figured more people would have interesting ideas for what Traits could be.
Erm I did speak for myself hence why I posted this thread. :P I also know I am not the only one who feels traits are lacking.
Idk I think it could work well if there was a strong synergy among the lines. Like for Thieves… (anyone guess what my main is yet? <.<) One focused on poisons (not venoms) that does assorted things like field dropping or what about when fields expire? Currently as far as I am aware of nothing occurs when a field disappears aside from losing the field. How about when a trait for a class like a Fire Elementalist where when a Fire Field expires it explodes and causes burning for 3 seconds. In that same trait line burning could be passed onto other mobs within certain radius which in turn when the burning expires heals the Elementalist or maybe their party. It’s dynamic, it synergizes and in my personal opinion I think it would be pretty awesome to see. (Side note I don’t know much about Elementalists so no clue if they have enough fields for this to work ^_~).
Hello! I couldn’t help but feel the traits in this game are a little dull compared to the rest of the game. Each trait has an associated stat like power or precision which I feel wasn’t the best way to go cause for certain play styles it has a tendency of pigeonholing people despite other lines of traits having that rare interesting trait.
There are too many Traits that are simply +damage, crit procs, or boon gain/condition giving. Even those traits could have been made better by dedicated a trait line to proccing crits that comes with plethora of effects or one dedicated to conditions or boons but not just “oh I hit him now hes weakened”… That is boring! An example from the Thief’s Lotus Poison. “Weaken targets for 3 seconds whenever you poison them.” Why not “When you poison a target a poison field is dropped.” Then of course weakening can occur because of the field & it would feel more dynamic.
How about some traits really unique for a specific trait line like the Ranger’s Wilderness Survival where the ranger becomes the pet and dramatically changes their game play… Obviously these are ideas I pulled from the top of my head but I do think they merit some discussion. Compared to the rest of the game I just can’t get myself excited over such generic traits.
Side note I would love to see what you guys would like as traits or dynamic changes to existing traits!

“What is planned for the near future of Guild Wars 2?”
Aside from the obvious bug fixing & tuning is there anything that didn’t make it on launch but is still planned? I noticed my character’s hair clips really badly I would love to have a barbershop like feature in the game via NPC or Trading Post.
Now a question to the players. What little things would you guys love to see in Guild Wars’ future?
