I’m one of RUN’s leaders normally known as Moose. Our current situation is that we’ve managed to create a fairly elite guild of GoM players but people are starting to realise that GoM might not be the place for us to stay.
What we are:
- Competent WvW players looking for a new place to call home
- A close knit guild who can function by themselves or with others if needed
- We mainly enjoy the ZvZ aspect and running as a guild
- 24/7 guild, we are not exclusive to a certain timezone. With guild leaders in NA/GMT/Oceanic timezones.
What we’re looking for:
- t6-t4 server
- Minimum ques (exception of reset night ofc)
- A place we’ll be able to function without having to fight 50man zergs constantly.
- Ideally a server that faces opponents who GvG.
- NA server
I’ve looked through the recruitment page and i’ve got a few ideas who we could look at further but would be interested to know where others think we’d fit in

That was a great ninja GoM. I was babysitting Golanta and klovan and wondering why you were sieging up gol… saw the swords on our keep so I went to check and boom, inner was at 30. Gate goes down and DOSE OMEGAS. Looking forward to a fun night… we know those are still out and about somewhere on EB.
Anywho, Seems the 3 R guilds or w/e failed to take a keep today, We’ll be sure to keep watching every NA morning for you guys and flip keep before you can in your bl

So seriously curious at the moment. We started off by roaming a bit on AR BL. An hour later we had every keep. An hour later we lost everything but Hills. Then some IoJ homies that were Lord Moding like us got bored and stopped by to see what was going on. We went from prepping to defend Hills to owning the whole entire map. With Zero resistance. With less than ten people. And this wasn’t even the usual Oceanic players, it was “oh lord we’re still getting away with this, but I’d love to go to sleep if they ever fight back” players. This isn’t a rant/chest thump/brag post as much as it is a simple question. We’ve heard the rumors, but holy cow…is it really that bad?
I’d quote some of the crap you guys had to say about IoJ last time we tangled but at this point I’d seem like a bully.
Please, let’s take this week and make a concerted effort to increase the number of smaller scale fights. Run with your friends, your GUILD. Make a stand against uneven odds, and have the courage to venture off on your own without the backing of 30-40 players from your server. You’ll be rewarded with great fights and earn the respect of the games remaining roamers.
Watch out for GoM’s RUN, heard they were looking for fights this week :P
How many topics until we get a single official response to what causes this lag, theres atleast 5 threads either necrothreads or new threads that have appeared because of this lag.
This error 7 patch is clearly a issue for a portion of your consumer base.
We can see for ourselves its not a ISP issue like the support team keep telling us, theres people all over the world using different providers and connecting at different times. This is your side anet and surely your should atleast acknowledge this error because quite frankly it feels like we’re getting 0 feedback.
Happening to me too. Played for about 4 hours in wvw with no issues. I came back after a 30min break (nothing should of changed on my end in that time) and suddenly i’ve got awful lag. Same error code. Still waiting on a anet response to any of these threads.
High lag in Labyrinth Cliffs and WvWvW. Not my ISP as others have said, everything else from playing games to streaming, downloading and uploading works very well.
I still don’t think most people read the actual content of a post. I’m honestly trying to give you advice. I said that not all, but a majority of GoM are not good players, and that may be a build/gear issue. It may be a group/organization issue. When I see a massive GoM group my first instinct is to run … right through them. There is very little bite to your zergs on average. If you want to take that as an insult, so be it. But ignoring what your opponents say to you, whether you want to hear it or not, just shows you have no desire to grow as a WvW server. This week would be an excellent chance for you to try new things, but instead you karma train. That speaks volumes about the overall server mentality.

After deep consideration today, myself and some others realised we do really suck at pvp and solely rely on seige. Here are some of our seige adventures
Agreed. It feels like we’re being ‘randomly matched’ with the same servers that we keep beating. So many of my guildies just want too face opponents where commanders can lead fights, not just WvW XP trains like has been happening recently.
I’ve got tag on my thief and warrior and its a lot easier to command effectively with a more tanky class. Thats not taking anything away from thief, you wont die that for sure but you can’t absorb damage with the rest of your group. This means that if you want your group to stick tight to you, alot of your mobility is sacraficed because you want to be with everyone else.
So, i was having a nice little dance party in some seige and decided to turn it into a naked zerg. After persuading people to “get nakid” with me we took a few camps and suddenly SM was attacked

Had a lot of fun fighting in EB in the last couple of hours, commanding pugs. I want to appoligise to the [EDGE] warrior (commander) who i ran into on many occasion, i kept having to hammer you.
I’ve just logged in to this happening in SM for the last 2 hours or so. Teams just standing in the top level of SM as the other caps it, personally i find the whole thing complete BS. I understand that the winners of the matchups wont be changed buts it just the principle that might grow.
One guild thought it would be nice to give away all of our EB last weekend (sunday) just so they could take it back for the wvw xp…
Hm, I haven’t seen this with my pin. There was someone who had issues with the tag not showing up though, and resolved his situation through opening a ticket.
