Weird thing happened today. After stomping a bg guy he joined our (JQ) party and told us a Norn was using zoomlocker to further the range of AC. We were in bg bl crag and we didn’t have a Norn in our party and we had no idea what Norn he was talking about. It’s funny that he blamed our commander (commanding 4man group lol) for not monitoring everyone there. I mean what the kitten?
If the Norn really used it then we were at NE camp to get more supps.
I would careless if he didn’t say JQers do it many times, we must be new players and clueless JQers needed 6 guilds to win blah blah.
Is it common to party with enemy groups and say random things?
I personally want you to just keep that in the forums I don’t want to argue in game like this.
I always love to party up with enemies and whisper sweet sweet nothings to them.

I actually only just heard about your departure an hour or two ago, oddly enough from a source outside the server. I’d have wished you guys well sooner had this not been the case. Will miss you guys terribly, especially coming out to watch your GvGs (at least the few I ever managed to catch). Best of luck guys! Had some fun the other day on NSP borderlands. Got in some good fights with Grindhouse (the few that they didnt graveyard rush or run from). Seriously, Grindhouse thinks they are top !#$% but you fail to mention your numerous FAILS. Simply put, we wiped you in NSP garrison with 7 people by sweeping in behind you. Might want to check your six before you go running in. Also, LOVE the kitten measuring between XOXO and GH. <3

While I congratulate your mad ingame trolling skillz. I find it funny it took you all so long just to kill lil ol’ me alone. As previously stated, I’m only mediocre in terms of skill compared to some of our [GF] folks. That says much. All in all, I like you guys, you’re pretty good. Nothing particularly special though. Certainly no [GF].
As for that solo Yaks thief from [Bark] I met earlier still. You’re good too. Tried to team you to tell you so myself, but you weren’t having that apparently. I think you need to step it up a bit and not use the same 2-3 button combo over and over, but it’s working for you. Was just a matter of you having to wear down all my dodges/heals to finally get me (several resets and retries later), which I know takes forever because that’s how I’m specifically built. Just seems terribly inefficient on your part is all, when you’ve obviously got the skill to do much much better.
I find it hard not to attack anyone who is escorting yaks. Besides, you grouped with me earlier and you seemed like a pretty cool dude so I thought letting the guard rez you was the polite thing to do.

To a lesser degree you could look at kaineng for basically the same thing. No, TC has never been the “bandwaggon”, and we’ve never gotten influxes of guilds in a short time. Just over the last 2 weeks tier 1 servers have gotten more guilds than I can count on a single hand. HELL TC has even LOST some guilds recently.

There is no collective or hive mind in Guild Wars 2. I don’t have a problem with SWAG just because some of my guildmates may have a problem with SWAG. It is video game it might be time to take a break if you feel compelled to message me. I don’t even get in to all that video game drama. My posts on the forums are about topics that interest me or I might agree or disagree with. I don’t post on the forums to prove I’m some cool dude with leet skillz I just have my opinions on certain things.

I am in Good Fights but being in a guild doesn’t mean everyone thinks exactly the same. Messaging me ingame is childish message the person behind the computer you actually have a problem with.
Lucky! I mean I get lotsa messages from SWAGuumans, but then I have lots of friends on the server, and a fair amount in SWAG. As for random ‘umadbro’ messages I think this all stems from Cookies tbh… But then again maybe not.
The game mode was made for open siege war and not remote GvG, if the dev wants to stand there he has the right to stand there, he did nothing wrong… He said, start the fight go go.

Cause you know, siege war is so much more reasonable. Sitting back with twice the numbers on higher elevation so you can treb without being countered. So interesting. And PPT is totally an accurate method of evaluating skill, nothing to do with coverage.
See my point exemplified once again. To say that coordinating a ppt based initiative is less of a teamwork effort than fighting with your guild is woefully ignorant and one of the reasons GvGers come across as petulant, unreasonable, and elitist.
And to sit there and bash the GvG community with such strong bias makes you come across as petulant, unreasonable, and elitist.
Rough night for roaming. Only people running 1-2 are hugging the island, where GF and friends are sitting and waiting to add on every fight they can.

Not sure what you are referring to, don’t remember running from necros yesterday. Died to necros plenty. But if I did run from one, I don’t feel particularly bad about it. Will see how things go if anet ever releases another balance patch.
I just always seem to run into you EVERYWHERE. You rush in, he trade blows a bit, I land corrupt boon and spite signet, you take off or die. Post wasnt meant to come across as me calling you bad or anything along those lines since that 1v1 matchup is skewed in my favor anyhow.
People don’t like the notion that the fight they are in is inherently unfair, remove the stats. Its killing a lot of fun in wvw.
It promotes 2v1ing the top server. Which is how it should be.
Keep the stats, it gives an incentive for the 2 less powerful servers to attack the most powerful server together. The buff should have some power, if it has no power, then there will be no point in getting it, and there will be no point to go to the new content area.
Strategy and skill still overwhelms the stats. We have had even large scale fights, where we had no orbs, and the other server had 3, and we still wiped them consistently.
and more numbers overwhelms all of the above, but when those overwhelming numbers are also enjoying +150 to all stats its not fun for anyone.
Sol is right, FA and DB have moved on from t3 with superior skill and organization. Maguuma is just sitting in mumble playing dating simulators all day on their welfare checks.

Fact is no major WvW guilds have transferred to Magumma in months. People are being kind when they say we did considered Magumma BUT NO GO.
I mean, admittedly, they were here for less than a month, but we did have Agg transfer over.
Before that, BURN/GOAT I think were the most recent. Worm and aZn are relatively new, too, I think.
But we don’t really recruit. A few other guilds have talked to me about transferring over, but generally we want them to transfer to servers around us so we can fight them, not superstack.
I do seem to recall a solid ‘Dont come to Maguuma’ thread when free xfers were ending. Im pretty sure that thread landed you a fair amount of xfers anyways but I dig your style.
Taking out the score from wvw not only makes the tier system would not work making it even more unbalanced as it already is.This also will change nothing, if you want to play without caring about score just don’t look at it simple as that. Plus it takes allot of the competitiveness out of wvw and the pride of knowing that you beat your enemies.
also your comment about population top three servers in eu are seafarers rest, vizunah square and piken square,Looking at their population seafarers is high , vizunah is very high and piken is medium this shows that its not just about the population.
Thats total server pop and not the pop that logs into wvw so vizunah has a decent amount that log into wvw they have far more PvE types, Piken is mostly a wvw server and sea farers is some where in the middle
If that was Maguuma BL, that was Mag’s group attacking our two people who were capping. Never see fewer than 10 mags in there at a time. Way to "Breakup the Zerg"
No, it was not Maguuma attacking two people. I have no idea what game you’re playing but there were plenty of small skirmishes that involved less than four maguuma players in buttlust.
And with that, we’re just back to the same ol’ game of people over exaggerating numbers or not knowing how to count :T
Its rather disheartening to see one of the greats of the gvg community and gw2 in general post so negatively. However im with Esuni, you quit this game already. The cancerous attitude exhibited in your post isnt necessary. There are plenty of people who remember the original orb buff, accept that it sucks, but still have the will to carry on. We dont need you to tell us how kittened things will be. Please dont take this as me bashing you on any sort of level. You are a legend in this game along with your guild, but posts like that arent needed.
The only thing I’d love to ask of you guys if you collectively choose some lower tiered servers to coordinate this is have a chat with those server’s leadership before you mass transfer. I’m sure most would be happy with the influx of new blood, but it’s always good to get a green light/ cooperation first. It establishes respect and encourages cooperation.

Some very sage advice! I’m sure server natives may or may not appreciate a massive influx of people to their server without some kind of heads up first.
Trinkets are all named pieces, cant remember off the top of my head since I am at work. The armor you can buy on the tp is called jatorro’s or something along that line.
Dire armor plus runes of scavenging = 1800 to 2kish condi damage with rare veggie pizza and master tuning crystals. Thats HUGE. Toss in a superior sigil of bursting and your talking massive amounts of raw damage in addition to being super tanky due to the vit and tough off dire gear. Plus at around 20ish crit you will still see dhuumfire proc plenty as all you need is 1 crit for it to go off. Couple that with the minor trait that gives fury when you enter DS and you are guaranteed to throw burn up on something/someone. Just food for thought here.
The GvG community will really only die out because WE the players let it. Sure poor decisions made by the developement team might make it more difficult for us, but again there are plenty of creative minds out there within this community that will eventually find ways for us to continue doing what we love so much. I’ve already seen some great ideas floating around in the forums like starting a GvG League when the league system gets implented. It’s ideas like this that continue to strengthen and unify this community despite what the devs are doing. Yes there might be a rough patch in the interim, but if we continue to thrive and grow as a community and overcome this adversity, someone will eventually take note.
I implore those who really do enjoy GvGs and this community to continue to strive and push for those truely great fights. The second we all begin to give up and let our community die out is the second we’ve lost this fight, and I for one am not about to quit.
The amount of defeatism I’m seeing around our little section of the forums is pretty kitten depressing. While things may not be swinging in our favor at the moment, that doesn’t mean its the end of GvG. The sky is not falling. Where there’s a will there’s a way ( and probably insert some other cliches in here as well), but I have faith in our community and peoples dedication to finding fun at all costs! All this woe is me crap needs to stop, people need to start focusing on finding new outlets to let our fun continue. This kitten ain’t over till the fat lady sings.
I realy don’t understand what is it with all the hate and people just ingeneral against the option to disable the buff. People should know by now that there are 2 communities playing WvW. There’s the dedicated Guilds/roamers and the PPT/siege community. Now personaly I’m a GvG/roamer myself but I do understand the need for PPT/Siege and I got nothing against the recent updates like WvW masteries.
People need to understand that the Guilds want to have fun in their own way aswell. If you enjoy sieging and blobing and lagging the whole server up that’s fine, but I should be able to Roam and do GvGs aswell. Now I’m not asking for some major uber update or a separate Mod just for us, it’s just a simple disable option on the buff IF you want to.
Anet needs to realise that they don’t have only the Siege crew to take care of but also the dedicated Guilds. We aren’t asking for much, we never have. Just let us do what we did until now in peace. Is it realy so hard to even consider such a little option for us?

See thats the kind of stuff I like to hear! Im looking forward to seeing who some of those major EU guilds are going to be fighting this week. Ogre might have his work cut out for him in this next GvG showdown If we have multiple major guilds having multiple big fights this week.
