Ya im thinking of making a backpoint thief as well mabye the evasion thief specs will prevail at home point playing the mesmer role

i see ur point but thankfully im a perma stealth thief so i can just put it somwhere he wont hit it accidently and it wont be 1200 that doesnt make sense at all

Also understand that with any far point strat with any class ele/dps gaurd/thief/engi/ or whatever your main focus is on winning mid you ignore home until u win mid if you whipe mid you regroup home and hit it again while i either have 1 or 2 thier point this strat will not work leaving someone on home.

If they cross to our home in the beginning tho we just adjust and wipe them with the neccessary amount and return to the strat

also at any point in the game if they send 4 to our point our guardian comes off mid and i the thief watch mid and far so we have a even 4v4 with guard

ya that was an old far point build i ran but as far as Signet of malice u use it for the might / iniative the extra heals are just a plus since its on a 12 sec cooldown u can use it offensively or defensivly

S/p is getting a buff on patch also where u will attack faster after u stun theere wont be a big cap anymore hopefully so i could see it coming back altho the nerf to the break stun is huge for sword

also I remember that video Zone u did beat us but to be fair it was a 2v2 either way props on warrior skillz i love ur build

i agree with you that the ele and ranger isnt the best fight for us but u have to understand that i dont ever go far point if they are there with the point

and it doesnt matter as much as winning the point as it is holding the nute for as long as possible if im holding 1 at there point with a nute its an even 4v4 mid and we have the advantage

sure u can say they can backcap us too but we ignore taht and win mid because of it which is a 4v3

basically every class except an ele i can either 1v1 or hold nuet against forever or until they bring 1 back to help

this is where i think my strat shines if they send 1 back to help i can then kill the guy helping as he goes back to mid while the other has to sit on point and watch if he gets off the point i just go decap and start it all over again

if its an ele tho i normally just decap and leave once he gets the point capped again in which case i go back into help mid 5v4 and just watch him for decaps again

Its going to be especially helpful once i get the instant port back to their point so if the ele does follow me mid i can pop back decap and get back to mid 5v5

Hey everyone its cruuk ur unfriendly far point troll

Just giving an update on what far point theives will be doing post patch

so after looking at shadow trap they changed the trigger return to a on use return

this means that ur able to leave it on far point and the far point guy has 2 decisions
1 to stay and let us 5v4 mid (btw there is no timer on shadow trap unless its triggerd/ or used)
2 to head to mid giving a free decap and the theif is able to come right back to mid

now i know some people will say they will have a 4v5 for however long it takes me to decap and come back to mid but if u think about it the time it takes him to get to mid while its a 5v4 in our favor evens that statement out

so it basically turns into a 5v5 at mid with thier point decaped this is going to be crucial for every team and i feel it will be the meta

just for whoever is wondering im going to be running

The utilities will be signet of malice / assassin signet / shadow step / and shadow trap

the rune set i will be running will be scholar 6/6 and a soldiers ammy with beserker jewel / and beserker ammy agasint condi teams

Step 1 — Add a ARE U READY Button when the q pops if they dont click ready they are kicked from roster and it finds someone else who is ready….. WHALA im a genius

Step 2 — Lol at anet for not thinking of this earlier

ITs really quite simple add a ARE YOU READY Button when q pops and if they click yes then they can come in OTHERWISE kick them from the roster and get someone who is ready

Obviously ppl are going to afk when they q into a 10 min q so fix it by adding the are u ready button at q pop instead of 10 mins before lol

Im ganna go ahead and say NA needs help with team forming cause we cant hold a team here for more then a few days let alone make one

We just you guys to do soemthing cause the game is really boring there are no team vs team games only super pugs vs other pugs

This is supposed to be a team game yet there is nothing setup to make that happen

maybe a roster?
maybe a punishment for leaving team
seriously you guys should consider team leaderboards not individual
also split solo / team qs
add ranking to solo q

i cant say enough how much this game requires a team to get anywhere on the leaderboards so if u want your leaderboards to mean something make it team leaderboards

Lets face no one goes anywhere solo quing so why not force us to make teams to play OR AT THE VERY LEAST GIVE A US A FREAKIN ROSTER

So i was thinking about this map and i thought of a good idea to maybe make it tournament friendly while still having the underwater combat

Why not just make the mid capture point underwater a island point instead where its just the ring of the island that you can stand on to cap the point instead of fighting for a node underwater.

I think underwater combat has its place but not when it requires you to stay underwater to achieve the capture point.

I think Temple does this quite well with the underwater triple cap orb and i think every underwater map should do it this way its alot more fun this way

would love to have a devs reply on this

At this point im just blown away on how they havnt added one single thing to give pvpers a reason to pvp…

Im almost certain ANet has abandoned the idea of esports and with NA being completely dead competitive wise and the only thing i ever see bringing this game back would be a HUGE cash prize tourny at the end of the year and when i say huge i mean something around 50k yearly tournaments.

Lets face it tho Anet has shown they dont put money into pvp and i think we can all agree that they would never do something like this.. but hey a man can dream

can we get a dev response just saying they dont give a kitten about esports so we can all leave this non funded game and never come back

Ok so as it stands there are ruffly 5 maybe 6 teams playing at competitive level and even with tournaments coming out i still dont see very many teams (atleast not NA).
This is the exact reason why you need to force teams in gw2 pvp in order to play.

I hate to bring it up but WoW did it perfectly. You force teams to create a roster before even being able to enter pvp and your rating is reset if you leave that team. Gw2 is based around teamplay yet NA is running around with there heads cut off cause they cant hold a steady team for multiple reasons.

Without actual teams forming there will be NO competition and NO Strive to even play pvp (PS the mechanics are awsome but ANET you are clueless on how to create a good endgame)

The least you could do is force ppl to make teams so we can start to see some teams form and actually maybe kick start some competition. We need more teams and this is the way to do it i feel at this point.

also you should make leaderboards team ranks not individual

And you need to show ppl thier rating

I noticed the Stalwarts leggings for PVE are glitched and do not show the right leggings. For a game that only has aesthetics for gear id hope you fix this soon i assume its an easy fix.

i dont think they do considering there are addons all around with announcers as such its just a deep voice with a phrase thats it. it doesnt have to be Unreal tournaments actual voice

the medium stalwarts leggings that you only get from storyline are bugged it does not look like the pvp set piece can you please fix this is the last peice of gear i need for my set

coming from a game thats sole focus was pvp based esports this game is starting to look more and more like a Diablo 3 Let down

after this last patch in february ive lost all hope in pvp

why dont u get real and just tell us that pvp is only going to come in the next expansion with another likely false esports advertisement

ya it would definately keep the teams in queue rather that just going into frees instead which would push them to go into spvp while they wait

the point is that more teams would queue rather than not

I know alot of the times even at night we look at the 1/8 and we dont que paids because of it. So i would think other teams do the same thing. so why not remove that from the equation and just have more ppl sitting in queues rather than not. I dont think tickets are the problem its just getting a pop. Even though i agree with you that tickets are a little much but still thats not the underlying problem its that people arent queuing when they do have the tickets for it.

So just wondering who agrees with me on this

Wouldnt it make sense NOT to show how many people are queued up for paids?
When u really think about it, there would be more people queuing for paids and less teams queueing for frees stomping everyone.

people would just wait for queues rather than not entering them at all because they see 1/8. then people could just mess around in spvp while they wait for queue to pop

Just a short and sweet fix to the game imo

They have already said they think people will return to the game when its fixed like they have all the time in the world they need but in reality that is a stupid assumption considering there are much more fun games out there that people will get sucked into and never return because of it

so basically all i have to say is more and more i realize these guys at arena have no idea what they are doing. But heres the kicker more than half there staff are all on vacation for the whole month while they leave the game worse off then before.
