I’v been lately doing some dungeons as im getting higher level so i could have some kind of exprience on dungeons on warrior when i start doing them alot. Only problem is that i dont really know what am i exactly doing in the group :P
Do i dps or support? Do i range or melee? bow or rifle? Greatsword or mace/shield?
Im mainly just looking for some guides that would cover everything, especially written ones becouse im not good at understanding spoken english and usually guide videos are so kitten long >_<
Also im on server gunnar’s hold incase somebody is from there and willing to explain stuff thru chat^^
Definately dont remove it, but it needs a change. I also agree its broken…I went to orr for an hour on my necro with 80% magic find, i got 2 blues and thats the only rareish thing i got. today i took my guilds 10% magic find on warrior when i was leveling, and i got friggin 5 blues 4 dyes 2 masterwork in 20minutes…So yeah, In the end whatever Anet does, its going to be about persons own luck….Long as they wont make it so you get a rare every 100kill and with 100% magic find it becomes 50kill….that’d be plain funbreaker.
2. What do you mean with hobbies and how would you suggest it to work etc..?
7. Well, a vampire have more life than a guy with heavy armor. Just a thought ^^. But maybe this is something they could change. I hate that my theif have 15k hp and a go against a necro with about 30 k.
Still, those with less hp maybe deals more damage and viceversa?
8. Whats wrong with the waypoints cost? You want it to be free. If so, then no.
9. Why? If you kill someone, how can you be sure that he carries something?? Not all mobs have pockets.
11. LOL. Well the norns are huge and the humans are small. The shortest humans are almost dwarves and the tallest norns are almost gigants. If you dont want to be a huge norn, then just change your size?

9.Mainly becouse of the wp costs, considering the events dont give THAT much money, and with my luck i dont even get rare drops ever. They also got clothes :P I bet i could sell that little scrap on him for 2copper :P (also this is just my opinion and my exprience)
11.Was mainly pointing at the difference of the heights within the same race (sorry i didnt point it out lol) Becouse i’v seen some highest and shortest norn(and other races) next to each other, it looks like its a 14 y old standing next to a adult >_< (again just my opinion, i got a weird mind when it comes to this kind of little things :P)
13. Well wouldnt it be simplier to just have a button that takes a pic without the hud?

A lot of events are soloable already. Most of the ones you couldn’t handle solo have [Group Event] attached to their names. And even then, some are soloable.

Well for me ’’most’’ of them are definately not soloable, every 2nd event i find is one with that champion outlaw kitten mage kickin’ my kitten also it seems the escort events are being bugged again so considering IF i leave those out of the event list, most of them are definately the ones with [Group Event] On them then.(I havent paid attention on checking if they do have that and to be honest, i tought all of them had that :P)
To keep a consistent level of difficulty along with increased participation, an event will scale dynamically based on the number of active participants. Not all events require combat to complete

My english aint too good so i might just understand that wrong but doesnt that mean that they should scale for 1 perso too? Dont wanna start an argument, just confused by that now.
The key to a successful Dungeon run is communication. If you have first timers with you, explain to them what they have to do in a clear manner. I’ve been glad to get to learn from people who’ve been there before, and I’ve been happy to explain the ropes to first timers and it benefitted everyone.
I know that, my point was that some of the content seems like its made when the devs have been high(no offense lol) Becouse i’v done that part of CoF 10 times, and with good groups too, and still its a certain death atleast once, or 2 or 3 times :P
I respect the devs vision of what they have made, its just very weird in my opinion.
Ok this is basically going to be a huge wall of text with random suggestions in a random order :P
Also, i know gw2 has many bugs still that need fixing and i understand that its kinda early to post all this kind of suggestions, but i agree on it that the bugs should be fixed first.
Role playing:
-More dances! I love how the dances we have now are based on real life dances, and even more of then would be awesome!
-Hobbies (as suggested in many other threads)
-Some kind of festival areas. Imagine a halloween festival kinda thing going on constantly in somewhere, this place would include all of the hobbies and other fun entertainment.
Combat/dungeons/events:
-Make the mobs have own bleed pool for every player, its VERY frustrating to be doing something in orr and come up to a event just to notice you cant do pretty much any damage becouse you are on your condition build. (mainly pointing this out as a problem of necros and rangers)
-Events should be soloable if there is nobody else around, more and more people are getting to level 80 and less and less people do the events on lower levels :/ I know many events that do scale down if you are alone, but all of the bossfights/random bosses are always either 1shotting you or it would take half a hour to solo it. Also its so annoying that the leveling is so relied on events, but wth, i cant level if nobody is helping on events?
-better dungeon design….I havent done all of the dungeons, but in CoF, the point where we have to defend tha asura putting the bomb in, with good group it aint too big deathrace…but if you are doing it with 1st timers, its just plain kitten Who in the name of god wants to do a dungeon where you have to suicide to mobs just to keep the main NPC alive?? (other than that i do like the dungeon strategies and techniques made into them^^)
-Same base stats for all classes, im not sure would this unbalance everything, but i just dont understand why my necro has better base vitality than guardian?
Overall gameplay:
-Cheaper waypoint costs.
-Make mobs drop SOMETHING every time you kill it, even a 3 copper trophy…Its been annoying me since i started that sometimes i kill 5 enemies and none of them drop anything -.-
-PLEASE GIVE US DYEING OPTIONG WHEN PREVIEWING
Random:
-Balance the race heights….I understand its meant that norn are longer but my god not twice as long as the shortest human
-Some kind of percentage calculations under stats, for an example the toughness/defence, it’d be nice to see how much % defence i get, or how high my bleed dmg is and so on.
-A option to take a picture with no hud even with the hug on, its annoying to do the combination of keys, take picture, do the combination again, and keep moving, a option for that would be VERY helpful
-A panorama picture mode….Just an idea :P

Agreed, or atleast raise the rewards from events then as some people suggest.
I like all of these, overall more Roleplaying elements would be very cool to get in the game.
Hey, I’v been thinking, that Is guardian better/similiar as/than elementalist on supporting abilities? And which would be more fun in your opinion?
From what i have understood, is that elementalist would be better dps, but that guardian would be better for supporting?
Im also planning on leveling an engineer at some point, so would it kinda be a waste to level a guardian/elementalist if the engineer would actually be able to be better support/dps/control?
I also already have a warrior and a necromancer as ’’mains’’ and i always like to have lots of differences between my classes, so would guardian possibly be too much like my warrior considering both dps with swords? (atleast i do :P) Or elementalist too much like necro? (I dont think that’ll be a problem but anyway^^)
All opinions are welcome, just PLEASE dont say ‘’play what you feel is funniest for you’’ Becouse i like all of those 3 classes but i simply dont have time or i dont want to level all 3 to lvl 80 :P
(posted in guardian forums becouse ’’i’’ felt that guardian was weaker in those aspects and im least familiar with guardian strategies so tought these forums are best choice for me^^)

I’v encountered this problem that while i craft stuff, most of the time i wont get the xp for my characters level (1-80) on warrior, but while i was on necromancer, every craft gave me more and more xp…
Just wondering if anybody else has encountered this, and if yes, is it a bug or Working as intended?

I do enjoy playing necro, its just very confusing when one says use staff, one says go with sceptre/dagger build.
I quess ill gear necro up just if i could sort the builds up^^
Soo new question, staff or sceptre? Im quessing its then your own preference from what i’v read around forums, but any kind of links to ’’best’’ builds. (ik ik theres no best, just couldnt find another word for it >_<)
So i got my necro to level 80 and it was my first toon at cap so i tought it’d be my main, only thing keeping me from buying exotic gear etc. is the fact that when i read forums, it seems necros aint too good at the moment, lots of bugs and overall QQ.
I dont really wanna get all exotic gear and then just realise that a ranger/warrior seems to outdps me in both AoE, bleeds and burst damage…
So all opinions are welcome^^
Well i wouldnt mind that they’d make the minions actually kill stuff im killing….half of the time it just stands there and comes in on the last 5% of health >:

I wouldnt start judging any devs yet, atleast necro is playable and enjoyable…
