I don’t understand how we are a minority when almost every hardcore guild is interested by GvG…

Anet need a wake up call, don’t forget who’s the customer here. Don’t ruin the only fun thing left to do in the game.

Please tell me more of those excuses about teambuilds vs roamers.
Learn making a build that fits roaming and zerging, saves you money and trouble.

Ps. Punk and Kale not only run teambuilds (aparantly), but their also the most hand holding guilds I’ve ever seen. You never see either one atacking alone.

I don’t feel sorry for anyone. Yes arena net matchup system is broken but that doesn’t mean we have to die of boredom there.

so FSV and GoT don’t count as well (not even talking about the specific attack on bay alone)? my facts are strait was just giving an example of the organised player massing, why was commending Punk for actually being very discrete at the guild level. Got nothing to be really unhappy about we did very well with our numbers fending off quite a few attacks on bay and briar and we only outnumbered the single guild groups. Anyhow imo all strategies valid besides skill lag level massing, just dunno why AG gotta defend it’s integrity all week just because it’s leading.

When we started commander stopped playing and all pugs left for EB. FSV wasn’t in full guild group during our run iirc.
Not asking you to defend your integrity, just don’t say it was 100vs45 all night. Certainly not when we played (10 to 12).

In any case we had some really nice fights, and fights were balanced because we wiped and got wiped all the same

Except that’s not what was happening for the most part, and to be fair, as the night went on, it was clear that there is blobbing, though admittedly not as bad from you as some other groups. But you have definitely lost some integrity in your style; one can only assume it’s the result of fighting hordes of Germans for so many weeks.

Im not sure its logical thinking (But do it teach anet!), actually many of us who do play wvw often are not playing. Those who are playing are PvE players and they are even more than us, as you may already know FSP has high population.

So we are sorry once again for the zergin and blobs.

Be aware, WSR is capable of showing up quite a big force, specially on EB evening. We had epic fights yesterday there ;-)

Saw some nice guilds from WR as well. Hope we can meet up again in less crowded fields.

Some nice 3 ways on FSP borderland tonight. Nice defence of garrison against AM and AG.

Belfagor Diabolos… My fraps footage disagrees with what you say It was a proper 3 way with no bias.

Maybe we have different definition of camping… but we were outside the ne tower engaging more often than inside… and its not like we setup a ton of defensive siege waiting for gate/wall to go down… We were fighting and killing people with our actual abilities the way the game is meant to be played, you know using class profession skills.

I particularly enjoyed the fight in the ne tower VS AM(was a decent scrap)… where unfortunately overtime a few of us got knocked out and couldn’t get back in (about 7 of us still outside fighting) and slowly the guys inside got whittled down… Meanwhile two AG guys recaptured hills

So ADAC, DP, & any other AM guilds

AoA, Blos, DW, FSV, PUNK & any other FSP guilds

It was a nice fight indeed iirc you had some AC fires on us, but it was pure fun. We were outmanned the whole time…
Back to the attack of garrison, why the hell did AG sandwich us when we were handling AM in inner south ? It was obvious that we would lose the inner fight but backstabbing us killed your chances to get it lol.

For the GvG, I would gladly accept, but we are not at a 20 people regular basis yet and I need to sort out things before we are ready However, it’s one of our focuses and we will start in the near futur. ;-)

Yes, thats why they introduced defensive siege equipment. Do not underestimate the damage that a good positioned Balistas or Arrow Carts can inflict on zergs. Especially on a choke-point.

Thing is, you can’t kill an 80 man zerg on a choke point if they rush you. Not mentioning that you probably wont be able to use any skills on AC.

We blob, because we outnumber you. The funny thing, is that we are a medium server and you are a high server. The difference between us is that encourage new players to play WvW, and we do not have an elitist attitude.

Ironic. So are you implying that you actually spread out when fought against a server with higher numbers ? I don’t think so, you don’t how to (most of you, not talking about rare guild groups).

Actually, we do playing WvW as it supposed to be played, by taking Keeps, Towers, Supply-Camps etc. it´s that simple.

In the same logic I could say that I play gw2 as it supposed to be – by pressing keys and mouse buttons.

I am not arguing I want you to spread cause there’s enough people doing this already. But don’t pretend that you are playing as the game should be played.

As far as I know, Guild Wars 2 developers stated that the way WvW should be played is by spreading as many groups of players as possible and hitting on multiple sides.

They also stated that they want to encourage small teams on defeating the zergs using more tactics than “one skill button”.

If you blob so much that it makes the game lag, than you surely aren’t playing the game as intended.

Everyone who plays WvW has encountered the zerg, either as a member or as a victim. The zerg is an important part of the game, but it shouldn’t be the best strategy for victory.
An important distinction should be made between large, organized groups of players making strategic strikes and mindless groups of players running around in a mob. So justify all you want that you are playing the game as you should, but you aren’t according to those who developed the game.

Actually, wasn´t half the map. It was just outside SM, where your 10 man group, killing 1 or 2 from AM, where they were tyring to get inside SM, where the big zergs from all the servers were there(2minutes for a heal skil lto use ). The funny thing is that after we were 10 randoms, we cornered you at the small cliff, just outside SM, and eventually we managed to prevail.

I don’t even want to read all those walls of texts. DW had fun tonight in EB To be honest we are getting used to fighting 3vs1 and we are starting to enjoying the challenge. However big the zerg/blob is, there is always something you can do ^^
