You guys don’t understand…

What happened to my guild?! (See image)

Me and my wife have over 1000 gold in that bank and suddenly don’t have access to everything in our guild. HELP!!!!

I can tell you guys this:

If Arenanet does not stop doing some of the things they are doing now, they will lose money. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game very very much. But the development+marketing teams really have no idea what they are doing. Since 2 years ago (and specially since HOT) this game has become a “Hey look at what we can come up with” show. Sad but true. This is not how you keep a business healthy…

(Sorry Arenanet if I was disrespectful again, you guys draw that conclusion quite fast.)

I know people who had their elite spec on the 2nd day. So OP, I think you are the one who should cut the bullcrap and begin farming. Plus, as I said before, masteries are account wide. So after having most of them, all alts should have a more easy time doing hero challenges.

Boy oh boy I’ve never seen so much cry babys. So what a lot of you saying is: We wanna play an MMO, we buy an MMO, but we don’t like this game to be so much MMO’ish… Maybe a lot of you forget that masteries are acount wide? So when you have them all unlocked you don’t have to do it anymore on other characters, never again… After that you may come back here to cry about how you all have nothing to do etc… Common guys, enjoy the game, or go play some other crap game like WOW… -.-

Wel again. I did not post this to discus something. I know that I am right, so spare yourself the effort. Just want Arenanet to know this and hopefully fix this. Or at least watch out with the updates. Because every patch breaks something else. You know it, I know it, they know it…

I have the same computer for the last 2 years… I also have more then enough knowledge to know it’s not me, it’s Arenanet. Please stop bullcrapping me. I don’t want your opinions, I just hope someone from the development team reads this so they can look back and analyze what’s wrong, not me. I am also serious about Arenanet to stop with HOT and fix the core game first (dungeon bugs, PvP mmr, lags, etc).

No, you can’t. If you try to whisper someone you have blocked, you get an error. You have to either unblock that person or simply appear offline. Check your facts.

OP: They’re not whispering you while they have you blocked; they’re either Invisible or are taking you off block/putting you back on block. Simply block them.

Well for the normal persons who read this: It is a simple principal that works the same in every game. You block someone. Usually you do that cause for some reason you don’t want anything to do with that person, including spending time to PM/spam him or her… So normally in most games blocking means no contact in every possible way. It is very normal if it works like that and indead very strange and shamefull it didn’t work like that in the first place. But I can understand most kids like this childish feature as it is now.

I’m going to be blunt here, so please excuse my rudeness…

Wake up devs and stop balancing this game around PvP!

Firstly, you should never, NEVER balance a game based solely on one part of the game, be that PvP, WvW or PvE! It’s just asking for trouble and further imbalance issues. That means SEPERATE skill mechanics for PvP and PvE.

Secondly, since you do not provide the ‘holy trinity’ in this game (Tank, Healer, DPS) we need to all be able to withstand some attacks. The Stability skill is a key factor here. Without it, we just get downed or killed because of certain attacks that are unavoidable.

Example: Ascalonian Catacombs Gravelings

I just did AC P1 on my Elementalist. I was the one fetching the scepter pieces in the graveling room. So, I took ‘Armor of Earth’ as one of my slot skills. This skill is supposed to be a stun-breaker as well as providing 6seconds of stability and reduced incoming damage. That is, until you guys completely ruined the skill and rendered it useless with the ‘new’ stability changes (nerfs).

So, I dodged the first graveling attack, and the second, and got pounced. No problem! Stun breaker and stability! I cast Armor of Earth, I’m standing up I have 10, yes 10!!!!!!!!! stacks of stability that last 6seconds. I should be standing there for the time I need to pickup the scepter piece, but noooooo thanks to the huge stability nerf, my Armor of Earth lasted all of 0.5seconds!!!!!! Half a bigfatkittening second!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?! What is the point of this skill if it doesn’t do what it says? And this was only ONE graveling that pounced me. How can this mob remove all 10 stacks instantly?

The point is, if you guys hadn’t completely ruined Stability in PvE, this wouldn’t be happening! Sort your stuff out and stop ruining the game we so love.

Man learn to dodge… Most of the time I do that room solo on ele and I take no stunbreakers etc. Just dodge all attacks… -.-

Anyone else foresee in the near future, the end of guild wars? I wouldn’t like to see the end but when shallow, uninteresting, unrewarding, frustrating game play take over, it’s time to leave the sinking ship I’m afraid. HoT is going have to bring some ground breaking ideas to the table if it’s to keep it’s head above water. A lot of loyal veteran GW players have left already (10 years since gw prophecies), Anet doesn’t seem to care about losing these people, soon they will have no loyal followers and just be left with new ‘latest thing’ players that will just move on after a while. I feel a real lack of care and understanding about what players want, issues that never get resolved, lack of communication, I’d like to see more devs responding on these discussion pages, instead of just letting us argue between ourselves….I did once raise a issue to Anet and was prompted to discuss on here, apparently they ‘read’ these….
I’ve been gaming since the day’s of Pong, I’ve seen many titles come and go, GW1 was a much better game imo, and they should look more at what made that game such a success in game play and longevity, GW2 has always seemed like a step backwards, I understand it was trying to go in a new direction, but it’s been 3 years now. issues are still unresolved, dull content, lack of care and understanding and thanks to july ‘dumbed down’ update even more unbalanced play. You can put all the flashy graphics, weapon skins and pointless TP items you like but if you don’t have the game play you have nothing and without a loyal fan base you will have nothing.
The July update killed it for me….unfortunately I had already pre ordered my HoT copy before the update was released which I never would of purchased….
Feels like I’m being forced to look elsewhere, sorry day indeed.

So why should Arenanet give a flying crap about a handful of disgruntled people who are complaining constantly on this forum. There are more then enough people who actually enjoy this game very much. If you don’t like this game then please leave, instead of demotivating people by calling out only the worst things in game. And never come back. Arenanet should close this forums permanent. It’s 95% worthless and toxic nonsense. You should be ashamed of the disrespect you have. Sometimes it’s worth a lot to say something, but in most cases you should keep that mouth shut. (James 1:19 Know this, my beloved brothers: Everyone must be quick to listen, slow to speak). This game has a crap load of content to enjoy. Unfortunately most of the “forum naggers” are not able to see those things, and from there we can only make one conclusion: This is not the right game for you!

First of all… I like this game freaking much!
But this is something a development team should be truly ashamed of… You literally can not see a huge amount of the skill points/challenges since that patch. If it was my choice I would make it pink. They should have made it a better color yesterday!

This mini is the coolest mini in game imo. Normaly when a company gives you free deluxe gourmet limited edition stuff it turns out to be garbage… This free gift is just epic! And of course a smart decision from A’net to secure accounts. Thumbs up!!!

So I have to confess, any sort of PvP always makes me really kittening nervous, when I was still playing SC2 it was a very long time before I could get myself to ladder, and even then my palms and feet would always break out into a sweat on the loading screen just about every match. I have been playing since beta weekends and only really started playing PvP two weeks ago.
While I do get the occasional kitten-hat who talks smack for being rank 60+ being in a match where everyone on the other side is wolf or lower, my experience in unranked has been very friendly. People who were on the opposing team a match or two back are pleasant when they are now on my team, and while not every GL HF is replied to, I have yet to have someone act like a kitten just because I chose to be polite. Yes tempers can flare when a match goes bad, but almost no one really crosses the line.
Many of you would still consider me a scrub, and that’s okay since any game you can master in less than 2 weeks can’t be that much fun. I’m countering builds I should counter for the most part, even if I am taking more damage than I should. Other games PvP communities often are not as nice as what I am experiencing, so thank you to everyone for making my real intro to PvP a pleasant experience.

So so soooo many players here on the pvp forums who had great ideas. In my opinion some of those ideas would have really helped balance the pvp section of this game. But no no no, the only thing you want now is to force feed us the “Justin ODell idea spoon” so you and your team can say “look what we did”…

Want to fix pvp? Listen to your players… Some posted ideas on this forum with scripts and explanations, and it was all for nothing.

You only have to make pvp so that you can go solo (WITH OTHER SOLO PLAYERS), or you go with team (WITH OTHER TEAM MEMBERS).

You really did a great job on the balance issue! But now you want us to cheer, for something that should not have been here in the first place?!

Get a grip and just fix pvp without the show or nonsense…

Are the game developers simply cut-off from the rest MMo world out there? If this game had something in it’s pvp, it was that you could not run as solo, and get massacred by a premade team, that’s organised, using TS etc… You either go solo and fight alongside random players, or you get a full team and fight against a full team.
