Happens exclusively for me at Divinity’s reach bank as a constant crash to where I cant even login to my necromancer to play. It’s just an insta crash at load screen.
Ran mem test without issues on any of my 32 gigs of RAM and both my 680 gt nvidias are up to date on drivers I had zero crashes the first couple weeks until recently which they are now semi frequent across the board and constant near divinity’s bank.
Fix your game so I can play my necromancer again!
Until then in forced to never use him.
This is obviously not system but game centered.
Cool then they buffed it. It was originally 10 at release.
Hard to tell what goes on these days with the ninja patch notes.
Last I calc’d it was 6 for a total of 150 stats for your pet only.
You can check how many stacks you have currently by clicking your pet manually and you’ll see the affect under his healthbar.
And losing all stacks literally happens on anything lol.

Are there any plans to ever make use of these down the line? perhaps purchasable skins or something exclusive, like vet rewards only achievement based?

I vote against.
Listed by personal importance…
1. Fix pet and spirit pathing and ai and animation times.
Sometimes have to manually trigger atk multiple times before pet will acknowledge and they still can’t hit moving targets.
2. Bigger pets in general or at least the option to make them look growed up.
3. Fix 1h sword sticky issues.
4. Increase 1h axe throw speed, I seem to attack a lot faster on my warrior than ranger even though supposedly same wep speed and potentially hitting more mobs without losing damage if you get them stacked.
5. Improve off hand skills for axe and dagger. As is, horn wins hands down in overall usefulness. Axe and dagger in general off and main could use better animations.
6. Overhaul the beastmaster trait line, its a complete joke aside from zypher at five points. Especially the master and gm traits. Even zypher goes against the encouraged constant pet of masters bond trait.
7. Like every class there are many useless traits that could use removing or reworking.
8. Improve pet survival rate without having to rely constantly on pet switching every 20 seconds.
9. Spirit system could use an overhaul, having to be lv60 before they are ableto move seems utterly moronic. Maybe move it to a minor for master rank or just allow them to walk in general.
10. Signets cds and usefulness need improvements across the board.
11. Allow flying pets to fly up on walls etc. for seiging etc. And allow melee pets to jump down and atk so we don’t have to lose a good chunk of our dps when seiging or defending.
Second to last, Claw type weps. Would be awesome.
Lastly, Moar pets! Pet skins! Or other customizable pet looks

I couldn’t find if this was already discussed but what are peoples thoughts of say 3-6 open pvp servers? WvWvW would still function the same however. Have to set aside your differences for the good of the world
I doubt it, because then you are saying a hyena can only be as good as any normal hound type once every two minutes? The summon only auto attacks for lesser strength as the main. If it did same damage and used the same skills then maybe.
So after thorough testing to get the axe cone bug to trigger it seems it was fixed it was fixed as of last nights patch.
Side note, ow I’m getting random crashes I’ve never gotten before so something to look forward to lol.
BTW you still haven’t added the Hyena power stat bug to the list which is still bugged as of this morning.

This isn’t LoL where you can he banned by random reports.
This team actually reviews reports and if they see meaningless reports like that, unless you are being rude, racist (excluding single race guilds lol) or otherwise violating any real terms of the agreement… You are absolutely fine so spam away.
They have a spam auto-temp squelcher feature in this game to silence those who really go overboard in advertising recruitment anyways.

Welcome to a semi-balanced non gear based game.
I asked someone who bought it and was told basically its up to you to transfer it from gear to gear as you progress via transmutation stones, which are awarded from chests (I think they still drop) and map completions (for sure).

Thats odd, screenshots? Last i saw during tests was legendaries having same stats as exotics.

Haha I may have miss-spoken, I was going from gw2db, they could be same stats now-a-days but even better then.
No gaps for strong farm guilds!

Their stats are slightly better than an exotic and they are spicy looking without being op.
Many have already been crafted across the servers so I don’t think they are topo imbalances for their ease of crafting.
You don’t want only the strongest guilds who can farm karma and skill points quickly in pvp by training maps to be even more powerful just because they are able to rush something that others may have to work hard for.
Does it give them a tiny advantage? Yes.
Does it give them bragging rights? Yes.
Does it make them look like magical ponies when you die from rainbow arrows? Absolutely.
But its not to the extent of being op and just adds a little uniqueness to the game. I honestly doubt Anet planned for them to be crafted so quickly but hey, if there’s a will, there’s a way.
I think they’re fine currently the way they are and eagerly await more to be added.

I’m going to have to go with the op/everyone owning the same set argument.
Tgh/Vit/Con would be majority of eles and status builds due to wanting to not die (and now being able to achieve it) and still be able to “spread the love” all around the battle field.
Tgh/Vit/Heal would be everyone who specs support. Right now the healing stat is pretty pathetic but if they get around to giving it usefulness I can see water eles being walking talking juggernaut heal bots able to sustain focus shots long enough for their team to peel off any would be attackers while constantly keep their teams full.
I could se wvwvw degrading into who has the better team of water eles ruling the map.
Haha see I’ve had the exact opposite experiences, I’ve had many pets heal after the auto res. But to be safe I try to do a quick pet switch before triggering it. It let’s the zypher from the switch enhance the res speed.

It seems that they randomly choose to act like a real res or your channeled downed self res.
Downed skill 3 ‘Lick wounds’ has a 50/50 chance of working, if that.
My pet regularly simply stands on top of me and does nothing which has lost me more than my fair share of fights, this coupled with F2 skills not working when I want them to can make my playing experience extremely frustrating.
That actually may be contributed to any aoe no matter how small.
As you stop channeling heal when downed at the slightest touch your pet seems to sometimes follow that pattern instead of the being able to channel through the pain as a person trying to res you.
Hopefully, if its a mob and they stay focused on you with single target stacks you may live but any aoe or especially in pvp if your pet feels a strong enough breeze while standing on top of you, the skill channel will break
Yeah I’m going to side with answer of, if you don’t want to play a pet class just go play a warrior lol. They are inherently stronger with main hands, GS, and some extent arguably bows so there’s your buff with lack of pet.
I’ll do more test on the axe bleed when I get home from work but my only ranged wep is the axe (cuz I’m a rebel like that lol) so this became very apparent. I already ruled out latency or graphic drag as I have a norm of about 65 fps at max settings with a 30 to 35 latency. I also got it to trigger at lowest settings as well. I’ve had it occur while moving in all directions especially running forward in a straight line to close gap to get most the affect but when it fires a step to the right/left of my hand it only gets 3 bleeds instead of 5. I’ve also had it while standing static as well so ill try to determine a pattern.
I know we already have swords, some of which come with a curved blade model, but I would still like to see something vaguely Katana-esque. Where the blade was on one side and very sharp and came to a point. Something that doesn’t look as heavy as the other two-handed blades.
Ideally I would like a class that uses only a katana-esque weapon. Partly because real life katana’s are meant to do some bleeding at least and the two handed warrior doesn’t do any with his attacks. However, that would be something for another expansion, so i must continue to dream.
I think the closest like that is the whispers sword. But that’s more scimitar than katana
have u noticed the conditions like bleeding and poisoning applies to everything, like earth elementals and sparks lol. it’s good, becouse helps with the damage but it’s also very strange.

Yeah but that is a game functionality bug, not specific to rangers.
I submitted it a couple of times during beta since It didnt follow the flow.from part 1.
The fact they kept it in most likely was intentional due to ma to of those types in the game and removing it would narrow builds even further for classes like our rangers whom have arguably only two main builds, one being the statuses build. I wouldn’t mind if they did fix it though.

With weapons having unique skills for each class its quite fun and interesting to think of the potentials they could release…
What kind of lore friendly weapons would people like introduced into the game In the future? New weapons not include in any prior release of the franchise. So no listings of javelin or scythe etc.
Two categories: Terrestrial and Aquatic.
I’ll start things off…
Terrestrial
Claws (already in game used by ogre npcs)
Whips
Polearms (2h axes/spears etc.)
Oversized boomerang
Flails (could be lumped in with whips)
Aquatic
I got nothing… lol

My main complaint with the beast tree is the master/grand master major traits. The fact that all the masters force you to tight cast one pet family seems like it was a last minute cop-out and very lazily executed.
If you sink 30 points into the tree, the last grand master minor should just grant each pet family a unique passive, showing beastmasters are truly just that.. Not waste it into a major trait role. Just seems they ran out of ideas and threw in a lot of useless filler traits across the board.
As for the beast grand master majors they just leave a lot to be desired. One is extremely situational and the other us just as lack luster. Even with natural regen and the regen sig, pets drop like flies if not constantly swapped.

Great job so far, those are some of my pet peeves too.

Weapons
Axes
2 – cone bleed has times where if fires just to the right or left of hand rather than center cone which it does sometimes as well. But the off center makes the shotgun affect of landing max bleeds very difficult to land sometimes.
1h Swords
Majority of the time you get locked into auto attacking unable to proc non wep skills or dodge. The auto attack a lot of the time has difficulties hitting moving targets and other times let’s you hop like a rabid bunny a few times over great distances so its a bit inconsistent.
Horn
Sometimes the birds that are summoned are massive, comparable to oak hearts in size.
Downed
Resing others you sometimes get stuck unless you use a skill. You are unable to move or dodge sometimes.
Traits
Spotter also affects you, only active during combat, and shows as might buff rather than spotter, all lacking from tool tip.
Master’s bond adds 6 all stats per stack, 150 max, should be in tool tip.
Beast mastery line says plus one pet stat, its actually 10 to all, max 300.
Predator’s instinct is a 2sec Cripple (lacking tool tip), other classes have 5secs on comparable traits.
Pets prowess isn’t at 30% per tool tip, my calc it was roughly between 20 and 22.
Moment of clarity needs tool update.
Expertise training needs tool update with specifics.
Hide in plain site dies not always trigger and sometimes will trigger during 1h sword auto attack animation which will break as the animation ends. No way to stop mid animation to get full affect.
Enlargement needs a tool update stating damage increase and stability as well as duration.
Instinctive bond tool tip does not say duration or cd though there are. Recently fixed.
Skills
Muddy terrain doesn’t always immobilelize upon creation even at point blank range.
Entangle, some classes can just flash (lack of better comparison) out.
Pets
Don’t grow in size as they level. (I know not a real bug but it should be fixed. They are too dang Small!)
Pets will sometimes just stop auto attacking and sit next to the mob not doing anything. Happens quite often for sharks but also happens for other aquatic and terrestrial pets.
Pets have extremely hard time hitting moving targets due to ramp up animations on all atk and auto atk.
Pets cannot follow over cliffs etc. They will run around grabbing agro of everything on the way.
The Hyena’s power stat is glitched. It is less than half of all other dog types. All other stats match.
Texting from phone right now. I’ll edit more when I get home as I’ve submitted alot to support via interface and check for fixes after each patch.

For terrestrial I second Rock dogs, icebrood dogs, war dogs (summoned by centaur in wvwvw), and wargs.
I miss my crocodile from GW1 so… Them, maybe albino croc as well.
Perhaps large snakes like giant python or anaconda etc.
Wurms, Minotaurs, Raptors, and Griffons would be interesting… and giant bats
For aquatics, dolphins, giant eels, sea turtles, and maybe those lightning fish I’ve seen in some deeps. They look interesting.
Side note, I think we can all agree all pets could use an increase in size as they level. They are just so tiny compared to their npc counter parts.
So I’m curious, since it was a hot topic in my WvWvW the last couple nights that majority of the ranger traits are just plain useless when compared to other classes.
Now most strongly felt this towards the entire BM tree with the exception of master’s bond and even that is extremely situational due to the need to constantly be switching pets due to fra-gee-lee-ness and the minors of the tree encourages more swapping.
I’m curious what everyone else’s thoughts are on this?
Please keep it constructive and provide suggestions if possible, I repeat, not a massive flame thread.
Hrm, am I the only one that is annoyed that the answer is always “just keep rotating your pets!”
Simple enough, but the fact is the game encourages long term play with one pet (not just bears lol) for beastmasters due to masters bond requiring 25 stacks for maximum effectiveness and it being lost on swap, which is difficult end game (non-bear) in most situations.
